AChristmas Prayer

Christmas day-2004
Today is Christmas, this is the first Christmas I have not spent with my youngest son Josh who is in the service, I found myself feeling a little bit "pitiful" and self centered and then I began to think of all the troops, and all their families and all the ones who will never again spend Christmas together because they have lost their loved ones in this war..Oh Yeshua our Most Lovely Redeemer, Let those of us who feel slighted this year give thanks to You the most Glorious One for anything and everything we can..Let us give thanks this day that we CAN PRAY...and that our prayers will be answered by you because of your unending love toward us. Father in Heaven ..Holy is Your name above all names..Today I thank you that all my children are alive and doing well because of you and You alone..I thank you that my children are the finest of the wheat and the salt of the earth and that they will bring light to those in darkness where ever You may send them. Father in Heaven, Holy is Your Name, your kingdom come Your will be done on Earth as in Heaven...I ask for shelter for our troops this day..I ask that not one be lost and that You would saturate their souls with Your presense..Father, for this reason was the son of man manifest that he would destroy the works of the devil, Come Lord Jesus and destroy the lonliness, destroy the heartbreak and the dispair,destroy the enemies that would rise up against them this day and everyday and bring faith into their lives and hearts. give the peace that passes ALL understanding to those who have lost their families in this terrible war. Father in Heave, Holy is Your name above all that is..TODAY let your presence be know in all the earth and bring the light of your love to those who need it ..I give you thankgiving and Praise for who you are, in the Mighty name of Yeshua our Redeemer we say Amen ands amen...I love you Yeshua

Lord, hear this mother's prayer for her child and multiply it and let it lay like a blanket over every family who is separated by war at this time. We pray that every one of these loved ones are celebrating in the place where they are. Let Your peace and mercy and favor flow over them like a mountain stream. We pray that they are all in a safe place, that they are all comfortable and comforted. We ask that You send angels to protect them in all of their ways and shield their hearts from fear and pain. Bring the families back together soon, Lord. In Jesus' Name we ask all these things....Amen.

Father, I pray in Jesus name that You will watch over this mother's son, as well as every son and daughter who is off fighting a war. Blanket them in Your mercy, love, protection and grace.
Comfort the parents and families who are so far away from their loved ones. Give them abundant peace of mind and heart, that while they cannot be there to watch over their loved ones, You are there, and are Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Amen.
