Are you Really Putting God First?

The Good Lord told me in church yesterday that although in my head and usually in my heart I have meant to put God first and to make him and seeking him my top priority, I have still in my flesh put getting my needs, wants, and desires met first. There are probably others just like me. I immediately confessed and prayed to God, asking to seek his face and asking him to reveal himself to me, come to me, and to help me to get closer to him. We need to search our hearts deep. We need to focus on God and not our needs, wants or problems. But seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and its Rightousness and All of these things will be added unto you. Mattlew 16:33

Hallelujah!!! Thank you for sharing this Janet! He basically told me He is displeased when his children doubt, fear, question.... can't remember all the things. And when we put our needs first that's kind of what we are doing. I know I certainly question. What He wants now is IMPLICIT TRUST!!! NO MATTER WHAT trust!
