age of accountability

For some time now I have wanted to know what the age of accountability is? I've asked many people and get a different response each time (3 years of age, 5 years....???)
....But I'd like to know EXACTLY. Any Scripture you can provide would also be most helpful.

I don't know how 3 or 5 years of age could be considered age of accountability. Seems rather young. Depends on maturity of the child and the consistancy of the training the child receives. I don't think there is a "pat" answer to this question. If this is about your child or children, please take this to God. Wait for Him to direct you about this for your specific child(ren). Focus on the Family is a very good resource for christian familial issues. They could probably provide a resource regarding this.
Father, I pray that you will give this mother answers in the rearing of her child(ren). In Jesus Name, amen.

Christian mom- if relating to age a child can make a real decision to belong to God, that differs in age, per person. There is no "set age", as it take some few years to understand such things, where others it takes longer. God Bless!
