This is my dream! A ministry to battered wives and their children, and to the homeless and orphans. If God brought about this ministry - within 20 years minimum and 40 maximum we might bring and end to abuse in the United States of America.
High Security Housing Complexes for these battered wives and their children, so that the women would not be required to get a divorce in order to get help for themselves and their children, which is forcing them to sin. These housing complexes would be long term help until the woman's youngest child that she currently has turns 18 years of age. As each of her children turns 18 they would be required to get out on their own, and they would not be eligible for the same type of help. These children would be under going counseling to prepare them to take care of themselves by the time they turn 18. When the last child turns 18, then the mother would also have to get out on her own. In order to make this possible for the mother's they would from the start be required to hold a job to pay their utilities and they would also be sharing a house (that would have 4 Master bedrooms in it) with three other women and their children. The Living areas such as the utility room where laundry is done, the Living room or Family room, the Kitchen, and the Dinnette would be shared by everyone living in the house.
There would be a secure build outside of the High Security Housing Complex with both Audio and visual for these women and their children where they could be safe when meeting with their abusive husband's that would have everything record and signs stating this posted on the outside and inside of the building for the women and childrens protection.
There would be a Counseling Facility inside the High Security Housing Complexes. There would also be a storage building for Food, Clothes, Shoes, and other needs that these women would have, and a Day Care for when they need it when for some reason one of the other women couldn't watch their children.
I would like prayer for this ministry, because right now it is just a dream. I have a Texas State Charter for this ministry, but other than this it does not exist!
I was once a battered wife and my children suffered because of my abusive former husband. My desire is to help these women and their children.
I have obtained the 1. state charter, and 2. I also have obtained my two (2) year Associates of Art Degree in the Social Sciences towards; my 4 year BA, and later my Master's degree and my state license so I can counsel these women myself.
The former staff I had drew up the "Statement of Purpose" for this ministry, and the rules that this ministry would abide by, and the different funds involved.
However, I no longer have a staff, because unfortunately, the staff I had was not as committed to this ministry as I was. Most of them never showed up for the meetings, and one, our treasurer did not share my dream, and came across as being in the ministry more for himself than for helping others.
So, I only pray about this ministry now, because by myself I can do nothing to get this ministry started. Only God can make this dream a reality!

Learn all you can and be ready. It sounds as though you have done all you can to prepare.
Have you ever worked for a non=profit women's shelter program?
I think it might be very good experience for your project.
My daughter has works for one and finds it very rewarding.
When Jesus puts a dream in your heart I believe he will carry it out.
Lord, I pray for this seed that is in the ground.
I bless the seed of her dream and ask you to help it to grow.

Lord, move with this woman and lead her to her perfect calling. Let everything she needs be in place and let everything she needs in the future already be waiting for her to ask for it. Let this ministry be perfected to Your honor and glory. In Jesus' Name....Amen.

The Goal is a Women's Shelter/Ministry
thats the end results.
The Plan is how you get there.
Plans can change,
they can change 100's of times, ask any builder.
but the Goal is still the same.

Dear Father in Heaven, I raise by voice in behalf of this worthy dream in helping the truly downtrodden of this world, the battered women and helpless children who could benefit by such a great cause. I pray that she may be led in the direction and course You would have her take in her life and in pursuit of this mission. I pray that You would open doors and dispel hindrances. Raise up individuals to counsel and help her as well as those who would share her vision and a pure heart in such an endeavor. I plead for her cause, and pray You would open the windows of heaven in her behalf. I ask in Jesus Holy Name Amen.
When you come to the edge of all the light you have, and must take a step into the darkness of the unknown, believe that one of two things will happen. Either there will be something solid for you to stand on or you will be taught how to fly.
