Job...

Hello all,

Well, first of all I just wanted to praise the LORD that over a month ago, a job did open for me after a VERY long wait. It seemed like I was never going to get another job, given the long time that I had been out of work and without experience (my last job had closed down, so there was also not even an 'old' job to contact). But apparently the LORD had other plans, which I couldn't see at that time. However, that is what I wanted to ask for prayer for. The job is alright, and thanks be unto the LORD for opening it! As I know so many people out there are out of work, and I had been that way for longer than any other person I had heard of, before.

I have to take 2 buses and 1 train (public transportation is my only means of getting there right now) just to get to work, one-way. It's only a part time job (but better than nothing right now), so it's terrible...like 20 hours a week if that much. The pay is alright, but we only get paid every two weeks, which is twice as hard to get by with. It's going to be getting freezing cold again soon, and I have to spend that time outside while waiting on those buses and train. I also have to leave about 2.5 hours before I'm supposed to start work, just to get there on time.

I wanted to ask for prayer that a full-time job will open for me at a location that's very close to here. I'm trying to get a certain position (something like stocking in a store somewhere, since I am rather young and don't quite have a 'career' yet) if the Lord wills. I don't want to have to freeze all winter, trying to get out to the job that I currently have now. I'm having problems with my household...and getting a ride with my mom is alright. But...I wish the job was closer so that I don't have to depend on any person in my family, as I live among unbelievers and we don't get along concerning God and living a moral life.

Anyway, thanks for the prayers.

In Christ,
Jesse R.

Father, I stand in the gap for Jesse, Lord show him how to live his salvation so that he never has to say a word to his family about their morals or lack of them, Lord teach him to walk in the Spirit and just 'be' a Christ follower before them. Let his family be drawn to the christ they see in him and come to him for their introduction into salvation through Jesus. Thank You for the job he does have and I ask that you show him a job closer to home and while he is at this job now, show him how to live his salvation and be a witness and living testament before his co-workers. AMEN!

Dear Father in Heaven, I ask that You would bless Jesse with the right job situation for his needs. I pray that he will be led to a job closer to home. Also bless him in setting an example to his family and that their hearts can be touched in some way that they may come to accept thee into their hearts and lives. I pray that You would guide Jesse in all his pursuits. I ask in Jesus Holy Name Amen.

O dear gracious God, please have mercy on this young man and his life. Reveal your truth and your love to his family. Please give him the strength to get through these trying times. Please provide for a better job, perhaps even enough for him to have a car. Bless this young man's life. I ask of you in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

We thank you Lord for the job that GuitarGuy 7 has. We only pray that you will give him a better job that will meet all of his financial needs and that he will have an easier way to get to his place of employment. We pray unto you, because you said ask and it shall be given. Asking you for favor for him in the name of Jesus.

Father, I praise You for the job that Jesse has right now as I know that You provided it to him. I pray that You will, however, lead him to a better paying job closer to his home if it is You will for him. In the meantime, may he see the blessing that this current job is and use this opportunity as unto YOU. In Your name, I pray. Amen
