Why isn't intercession listed in the 5 fold ministry?

I'll list the verse (Eph 4:11)"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some pastors and teachers, (12) for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, (13) til we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;"

Why isn't intercession listed? Is it because Jesus expected everyone in every one of these 5 sections to intercede as PART of their ministry? Does someone who intercedes for the Body of Christ, also need to teach or preach, etc?

Intersession is something that every Christian is supposed to do!

Not just those functioning in leadership.

I could no more stop interceeding than I could stop breathing!

Prayer is intersession! And Paul says he would have all of us praying in the Spirit All the time!

Yes, some people have a special anointing for intersession but God will give that anointing to those who want it, all you have to do is ask and be willing to use it.

To compare intersession with the "5 fold ministries" is like comparing apples and oranges, they are two separate subjects and cannot be compared.

The five fold ministers are called to speak to people.

Intercessors are called to speak to God.

The five fold is a list of callings for the edification of the body of Christ.

Intercession is to bless God and speak to him in Jesus' Name on the behalf of othes.

Intercession has been Jesus' job ever since he sat down at the right hand of the Father.

I have never met an intercessor who was a professional Christian, but it is possible.
