Praying for the brotherhood of soldiers

In this situation in Iraq You only know for certain what is the reality. We here at home can only have vain imaginings. Father I ask you to bless these men and women who are giving of themselves that others might have freedom.
I ask for a powerful move of Your mighty hand upon them. Hold them close and protect them as they give their all in battle. Strength, power and might as they do Your will in all they set their hand to do.
Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Father, we come before you and lift all of our service men and women up to you this day. I ask that Your blessing will extend to the far reaches of Your world. Let the flood gates of heaven open for these children that defend our lives here. I pray Lord that your warring angels will surround them, with their swords drawn and ready to do battle at all times! I also pray for those you have in place that are constantly bending your ear on their behalf. I pray that you would impart peace to the familys of these service people, and also that you would have Your way in all of our lives. I thank you Lord that you continue to sit on the throne. I thank you that you are still in control. I pray that you would let your spirit move in these far away places Lord, and renew the right spirit in your people that are having a hard time seeing your face. I pray against any spirit of doubt in your children. Protect those Lord that protect us. In the name of Jesus, AMEN.
