Urgent Prayer Needed for Canada

Hello fellow warriors,

The Canadian Parliament will table the same-sex marriage legislation next week.

If it passes, Canada will become the third nation in the world, after the Netherlands and Belgium, to recognize same-sex marriage.

As you can imagine, the implications will be grave if it passes. There are still members of the House of Commons who have not indicated their stand. However, the Prime Minister Mr Paul Martin has already indicated that the cabinet must vote in favour of it, even though all others are free to vote according to their conscience.

Unlike the U.S., if a bill passes the House of Commons, the Senate will not block it, as it is an appointed body.

Please pray very urgently about it. Pray especially for the Prime Minister Mr Paul Martin, and pray for the members of the cabinet -- if only a substantial portion of them vote against the bill inspite of the order, the bill will be killed.

Dear all,

I ask that you mobilize your local church on this Sunday to pray against this bill.

I believe the Lord will listen to our prayers and do miracles if there are enough people praying about it.

Lord, You are so much bigger than us. We believe that You would be against this bill. You gave us freewill to go against You and all that You stand for, but we know that it pains You as Your children get further and further away from Your laws and plans for them. Help us to help Your children who are in these relationships. We ask that this bill does not get through the Canadian system and we ask it because we dont want to allow and encourage gay relationships within the community as we do not believe that it is from You.

We place this into Your hands, fearful of what might happen if this bill is to become a trend in other countries. Fearful that our communities are truely getting further and further from You. We know that You can cut through any level of sin but for most people who do not seek You it's just putting more and more chains on themselves.

Your Will be done Abba.

Lord ! PLease please step in and stop this madness ! This bill, as was said, has already long been approved here in Holland.
Oh father bring back family values, bring back the true meaning of marriage between a man and a woman the way it was designed to be.
Let this bill be scorned by the majority by a move of Your mighty hand.
