Prayers For Israel! Please Pray and Remember This Nation!

Dear Heavenly Father, Look upon Your children in Israel. You see that they are living in fear and terror, threatened by war and death. You have declared, ` I am Israel's Father.´ Loving Father, how this must grieve Your heart, for they are Your beloved people, who are yet to be of great significance to the whole world. Protect Your people, deliver them from their enemies. Kindle in the hearts of Your people, the flame of hope in the darkness now engulfing them. Father I ask that You create in Your people the faith that You will bring them through. I ask that as Israel are surrounded by mortal enemies, I pray that their fear will not cast them into despair, but cause them to seek You in mighty prayer. Father may you have the comfort of seeing Your people take refuge in Thee. Kindle in them the flame of faith by Your almighty spirit. In their distress help them to put their trust in You, their God, as they know and proclaim, does great miracles. You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. I ask that You make Your goodness known to them, come to their aid. I know when we see no solution, You have one long since planned. I know You will help Your people in a great and wonderful way. I pray that this day be hastened and ask these things, in the name of Your beloved son Jesus Christ, amen.

My mother trained me all of my life to love Israel and the Jewish people. I was stunned when in grade school I discovered how hated and mistreated they have always been. I still can't understand it. It is fear and jealousy.
They are the chosen people. God entered the earth through their family. Anyone who hates or harms them does so at their own peril. God has clearly stated how he feels toward his beloved people and their homeland.
Lord, rush to help them. Protect and keep them. Speak to their hearts and comfort them. Raise up people to take their side and speak out for them.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
