Matthew Uran survived the crash in Kuwait with serious injuries, now his family is praying he'll pull through.

BELLEVUE - A mother's love for her son has her contacting churches far and wide asking for their prayers.

"People all over this country are praying for Matthew," said his mother, Fabienne Uran.

During a recent training mission in Kuwait, something went wrong with Matthew's Apache helicopter.

"I guess it was a group of two or three helicopters, and we don't know what happened," said his father, Gary Uran.

What the Urans do know is that accident killed his co-pilot and left Matthew in a coma with head, pelvis and neck injuries. It's been more than a week and he still isn't conscious.

"You know why he's in a coma, because of brain trauma. But you never know when he's going to wake up," said Gary.

Matthew was preparing for a deployment in Iraq. He felt strongly that the people there needed America's help.

"Matthew is a dedicated young man, he is determined, he's just s super guy," said Fabienne. "He's been a great son," added his father.

This is the second time one of the Urans' six kids has been in the news. In 2003, their National Guard son, Jonatthon, witnessed a hit and run. He chased down the suspect and cornered him until police arrived.

"He said he hoped I got sent to Iraq and got shot. I told him that's fine, I'd still die for him," Jonatthon told KOMO News at the time.

"All of our six kids have been super people, just super young people," said Gary.

Now all of them are praying Matthew will pull out of the coma and finish his dreams as an Army pilot on the front lines. Matthew always knew the risks and he made sure his family knew why he took them.

"He was sitting on the couch, and he said, 'Mom, if something happens to me, I will have died doing something I loved,' " remembered his mother.

On Monday, Matthew will be transferred from a hospital in Germany to a facility in Washington D.C. His parents and wife will fly there too, so they can finally be at his side.

Father, I lift up this soldier to you, and ask you to heal his body from the top of his head to the tips of his feet. Bless his family abundantly. Lord, his mother has spoken out in faith for you, saying that people all over the country are praying for this young man. I ask you to reward her faith, and heal him. We bind Satan's attacks against him right now, in the name of Jesus Christ, and ask that you wake him from this coma with all of his mental abilities completely intact. Let there be no deficits Lord, let his faith in you be rewarded, and let him be 100 percent whole. We ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.

"...Jesus...was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick." Matthew 14:14 KJV

"And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them." Matthew 15:30 KJV

"...Behold, a man...cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child....Jesus...said,...Bring thy son hither....And Jesus...healed the child, and delivered him again to his father." Luke 9:38,41-42 KJV

"...Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine (beginning of miracles). And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death....Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee."
John 4:46-54; (2:1-11) KJV

"...Men glorified God for that which was done....this miracle of healing...." Acts 4:21-22 KJV

Father, I stand in the gap for Matt! Bring him back to life Lord and heal his body and brain to complete wholeness once more. Lord Thank You for this young man's willingness to give himself to the point of death. Thank You that he still lives! Bring this young man to a saving knowledge of Grace if he doesnot know You and create in him a hunger and thirst for God that excedes his desire to serve the Nation! Make him a Daniel! A Joseph! A man who helps to save a nation because of Your hand in his life! Thank You Lord! AMEN!
