I want Jesus Christ in my life.

Please pray that Jesus Christ comes in to my life. I pray every night that He comes into my life and creates a new person in me. I have several vices that I have been trying to get rid of. I need to stop cursing, get rid of my attitude, learn to listen and communicate, and learn how to become a friend to everyone. I haven't seen a change in my life yet. I still do these awful things, and as soon as I do, I am immediately sorry. I just want to have the Spirit of the Lord in me. I have bought many Christian books to help me get started, but I am very sporadic about it. I also know that I need to be reading my Bible everyday, but I don't know where to start. It's like I can't understand it. Please pray for my understanding, for the love of God to come into me, for my faith to grow, and my salvation.

Lord I agree in prayer with this person. I ask that you would have a closer walk with him/her. Please release him/her from these things that he/she is confessing to you. I ask that crgrant99 would have understanding when it comes to reading your Word. Lord you said if we confess our sins you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us. So thank you Jesus for making us white as snow. Lord I ask that the fruit of the Holy Spirit would start to grow in this person. In your name and to your glory, amen.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and RISES UP again...

Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self control: against such there is no law.

Galations 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other...

Next time, let the Spirit win, and spend time in the Word or prayer

Dear Heavenly Father I lift this person up to you. I pray that they will have faith that you are a mighty God and that all things are possible through you. I pray that you will deliver this person form the vices that are binding them from getting closer to you. Take this person under your wing and make great things happen in their life. I pray this in your name. Amen
