three earth ages?

I was reading some preachers sermon That said the earth is really millions of years old.and that there was a time that we all lived on this earth in spiritual bodies.he then went on to talk about the 3 earth ages.I was wondering if there is any valitiy in this ,and if it is bible backed and if so can you explain it.Thanks for your time .-blake

hmm, I've never heard anything like that nor do I believe
we were here in spiritual form on earth. I do not think
there is any evidence in the Bible to back this up.
When adam and eve were created God formed them
and breathed life into them giving them a spirit, therefor
they were the first Humans on earth, there was no other
being or Human with a Spirit I don't believe. Thats my
opinion, I don't see where this preacher got that from!
When God created the earth it says he did it in days, well
we don't "know" if these days were days in our time or if
they could have been hundreds, thousands, or millions
of years.. Its always good to pick the bones out of the
chicken.

No blake the Bible doesn't speak of anything like that at all. But, I will say this much- if secular science is correct in figuring the age of the earth, that doesn't mean God doesn't exist. Fact- Fossils of creatures found that have no record of man existing with them exist. Fact 2- God declares He created the Heaven and earth, but never said when. Fact 3- God shows when created the earth, He calls it that, yet without form and void. Even tho God declares He didn't create the earth in vain, but to be inhabited. Fact 4- God's Spirit moved upon the face of the waters, first. These facts suggest God could've created the earth millions to billions of years before creating man. The fossils would suggest these were creatures He tried in times past before creating man. The fact God calls the dirt "earth" in the beginning, proves it was already a planet. The fact he had His Holy Spirit move on the water first, proves the planet was flooded. God declares specifically we are only to avoid "vain babblings" of science. That which they use to try and discredit Christianity. God never stated to avoid all science beliefs. Thus, from evidence I've seen, if secular science would see the Truth, there is more proof God exists and His Word true, than we can "shake a stick at". Besides, God never mentioned man's spirits, after first creation of them being on earth. Take care- God Bless!

Hello, I read your post and just wanted to interject something, so please excuse the intrusion, I thought you might find it interesting...

FYI: Just so you know they have found human footprints in the footprints of dinosaurs. They have also found a drinking cup in a seem of coal, with the coal still filling the cup! The fossil evidence just does not bear all the different periods of time that evolutionist science is claiming!

Bill & Lexis- No. Thank you. I'd rather be corrected than wrong. Last reports I'd checked had shown what I stated. With new evidence coming out so often, I can easily get behind in info. I appreciate the help actually, more than you know. Thanks again. God Bless!
