Please pray for Allison, age 12, who had surgery for a brain tumor on Wednesday. She came through surgery fine, and is recovering. The tumor is cancer, but is slow growing. Because it is located near the brain stem, surgeons could not get it all. Please pray for Allison's continued recovery, for her family, as they decide the next step in treatment options, and for their faith to be sustained through this. Thank you, and God bless you!

Dear Lord, may Allison and her family be able to cast their cares on You, Who has promised to never leave or forsake us. Please stop the growth of the cancer. Let healing for Allison spring forth. We join in praying that this illness is for Your glory and does not lead to death.
We pray for Your peace, which passeth all understanding, to keep Allison's heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Thank You that You so loved the world You gave Your only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Thank You that, even when walking through the valley of the shadow of death, You always cause us to triumph in Christ, made to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him -- the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe.
Thank you for this hope Christians have as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, that we shall not come into condemnation but have everlasting life. Dear Lord, the One Who knows what lies ahead for this precious child, please let her stay close to You and know Your presence in her life as she, believing in her heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, confesses with her mouth the Lord Jesus, Who ever liveth to make intercession for us. In the comfort of the Holy Ghost please give to her peace and ease from physical pain and emotional anguish as healing takes place.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for Allison! I went to see her this evening and visited with her mom at the hospital. Allison is in pain and needs to get that under control, along with getting her balance. When those things are controlled, then Allison can go home, perhaps by Thursday. At this point, I do not know what the next step for Allison is, but will be sure to keep you informed.

Allison's mom said that they feel the prayers being said for them.

O dear gracious God, please mercifully look out for Allison. Please touch her, heal her and make her well. Please miracously take away the cancer that the doctors could not remove. I ask of you in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
