America Needs The Lord..pray

Lord you spoke into existence the heavens and the earth
Created nations, people and gave America birth
Since 1776 America has been a free land
Our forefathers recognized the creation of Your hand
Many prayers for America have reached your ears
You have kept her safe throughout the years
You have raised up leaders for our nation
For a season and a time them You did station
Now it is the year two thousand and four
America needs your presence even more

America needs the Lord to heal our land
Please, O Lord, stretch out Your healing hand
Without Your presence America would fall
Because of this unto You we do call

Since America's beginning, we have had many wars
We have lost many Americans, boys and girls
O Lord, don't let those deaths be in vain
Comfort their loved ones and heal their pain
From Massachusetts to Oregon state
Upon the prayers of Your people You do wait
Your eyes roam to and fro throughout the country
To show Yourself strong to those who pray to thee

You said if you shall ask you shall receive
Deliver America, O Lord, from those who do deceive
In the troublesome days that lie ahead
Give us day by day our daily bread
America is still under Your amazing grace
Let us not forsake to seek Your face
A great awakening is what we need
To Your Word, O Lord, America must heed
Greed and strife has a strong hold
In the land of the free and the home of the bold

I was sick with this viral bug that just left me with such malaise for a couple of weeks. I watched Christian programming (Angel Network, TBN, ETWN, etc.. So many programs, inspiring, informative on the world scene, miracle crusades, I even got back into my Catholic roots and was saying the Rosary with Mother Angelica. I go to an Episcopal Church, but felt drawn to go back to a Catholic Mass and truly walked into a "dead church.: I shook my head in sadness as I heard about 10 people singing in a jammed 5:00 mass. Now I know why I strayed from it.

So I turn on the 700 Club, another station had people talking all about the great harvest in 2005, and the end times. Then the Ezekial prophecies regarding the 7 nations and how it may point to Syria.

Back to the U.S. and the inevitable chemical, biological, nuclear, or radiological attack by Terrorists (Satan) to bring down the country. The hatred of the U.S. by others, the rise in the Euro dollar and how "everything is just all coming together now."

Read Revelation tonite, to be honest for the first time, because too many people dismiss it, and learned how those who are left will be just wishing they were dead. The I turn on the news and hear all the uplifting stories about nukes being developed in the Iran, North Korea, Russia's gonna give them a hand, and Syria and Iran will have a common front. This world , besides all the natural disasters, and the fact that it is melting away, has gone insane. I am praying. I am praying to get release from a downcast attitude that is even questioning God why this has to go on and on and on.

I am afraid, sad, and find the more I think about it the bluer i get. Am I to rejoice that the end days are near. It's made me not even want to get pregnant again, to bring a baby into this ugly world. Guess I lost my joy today. Living in these "end times" is too much to take in at times. So, ignorance at times, can be bliss when you just have to shut off the TV. Well, Joyce Meyers is kinda upbeat because she focuses alot on keeping out heads and hearts in the Lord in a humorous way in a world that kinds sounds like it might last a few more years.

And Islam is the fastest growing religion? What are they nuts? Oh, they get 7 virgins if they get to heaven, does their wife go with them? The one who was considered nothing her whole life? What is her reward? Are their greater rewards for more atrocities? Forgive me folks, I just don't get it anymore.

I pray that God's spirit will fill people (and I know I need a good dose of his Holy Spirit right now as I'm under spiritual warfare attack), come down with fire, anointing, and truth and tell them audibly, as in his encounter with Saul, "Why do you persecute me? I died for you. There's no more work you can do to save yourself, because you are flesh. Crucify your flesh, and let me love you because I do, and I'll fill you with My life, My love, My WORD and My spirit which will be your strength in fighting prinicipalities and darkness which you are so very much a part of and you don't know it, because the prince of darkness is a liar and has deceived you.

I'm quite a a prayer warrior believe it or not, but the world just got to me today, as well as the end time gloom and doom. Cannot God just give the devil a good kick right now?
