For marriage restoration needs, how to win the victory

I am going to redo my marriage restoration teachings here since there are many new standers and more come in all the time. God bless and may victory be yours! :-)
Word I:
You have the keys of Heaven at your disposal...
Jesus gave us the keys to Heaven to "bind up" the evil and "loose" the good.
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven; and whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth, shall be loosed in Heaven." Matt 16:19
Remove the evil. Find a verse concerning what you want to remove.
You must bind the "strong man", which is the bad spirit (demon, power, principality) that has a hold of the person you are praying for. Search for a verse of scripture that you can pray. "But no'one can enter the strong mans house, unless he first binds the strong ma.." Mark 3:27 (I will give you scripture prayers for broken marriages to do this in later postings - adultery, friends who influence, demon spirits, etc.)
Replace the evil with good.
This is very important! "When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when it comes, it finds it swept and put in order. Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse then the first." Luke 11:24-26
A good example of this is, you pray the scripture over your spouse that binds the strongman...
"God grants ______ repentence leading him to a knowledge of truth that _____ will come to his senses and escape from the trap of the devil who has taken him captive to do his will. _______ shakes himself from the dust, arises and sits enthroned. _______ frees himself from the bands on his neck, he/she is a child of Zion. From 2 Tim 2:25-26 and I am not remembering the other scripture source right off hand..these are some God gave me when I was in the trial by fire to use and I wrote them but did not note scripture references, but they are all scripture.
Then you could replace with:
"For you _____, were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. _______will live as a child of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. ______will have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5: 8-11
Always speak with authority also..just like the Lord told Ezekiel to take authority and prophesize to the dry bones in the valley. If you want to see how much power you have through God to take authority over things, then read Ezekiel 37:1-14. So when you speak scripture over your spouse and situation, do so with authority in Christ...note how instead of saying "God, may you grant____ repentence..." I said, "God grants ______repentence..." God wants you to speak the things you desire as though they already are.
If you fail to replace.
If you fail to replace what you have removed, it will become worse then before you prayed. You must always replace something evil with something good. This is one reason why so many who go on diets actually gain more weight. The stop eating the bad, but never replace it with something good such as exercise. This is kind of difficult for some..but the truth is, as the Bible states, we are warring against powers and principalites. When satan was cast out of Heaven, 1/3 of the angels went with him, and these angels became dark angels, more pointedly demons, and it is these demon spirits that onto or into humans and influence them away from God. This is what you are dealing with in your spouse, and if you think there are no such things as demons, you better get to reading Gods word...He explicitly states that you do not war against the flesh..or humans in other words, but the powers of the dark world. Jesus cast out many demons in His walk on earth, and He left us with the authority to cast them out, giving us the power to do so on pentecost when He gave us His Spirit. His word also tells us that if you remove one and it is not replaced with good, or God, it will go out a round up seven more even more evil and bring them back in. I know for a fact this is true..been there and done that. If you are under attack of the enemy...broken marriage is one of his greatest attacks, then you better get smart about what you are fighting against..you must know who and what your adversary is if you intend to defeat them. Your spouse has been taken into captivity by satan and his demon spirits to do his bidding...bottom line, and this is why they have went off into adultery, drugs, gambling, whatever it may be that they have went into and become that has destroyed your marriage. If you want to get them back, set them free, get your home restored...then you better get straight on what you are dealing with and know that your only hope is in God, working with God for the victory against satan and his minions as I call them.
Replace the lies with the truth.
The truth is only found in His word. Unless what you hear, what you read, what someone tells you matches up with a principle in God's word, it is a lie! One of those lies is to move on and forget your spouse...that is totally against Gods word..God hates divorce, He intended marriage to be forever, and if you want to save that marriage, God will help you do it! Bottom line! This goes for subsequent marriages also, it does not pertain only to first marriages and I can show you the scripture to prove that.
Replace the "arm of flesh" with the "Lord".
Replace trusting in "the arm of the flesh" (you, your spouse, your friend, a pastor, whomever) with trusting in the Lord. "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might." Eph. 6:10 This does not mean that you cannot lean of anyone, talk to anyone, listen to anyone, this means that you seek the Lord first and foremost. God uses others to talk to you, to give you His Rhema word (spoken word directly from Him to you). But do not depend on others to fix your problems, do not look to them for the help, the fix, as that comes only from the Lord. Spilling your guts to your missing spouse is not going fix the situation, it is only going to give the enemy controlling your spouse more ammunition against you. Remember, you are not dealing with your spouse, it is not your spouse who is doing anything to you, it is satan and his demon spirits who have taken your spouse captive. Do not consort with the enemy, let God deal with them and you just deal with God.
Replace running away with running to Him!
"God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in time of trouble." Ps. 46:1. Run to the book of Psalms! Read Psalms (and Proverbs) daily. Pray Psalm scriptures over your situation. Psalms is one Bible book that you find something that contends with every given thing in your situation, from adultery to unGodly friends influencing your spouse and praying to block them, cut them off, from your spouse. Psalms is the book of artilliary in a sense, Davids Psalms, as God was always leading David into battles, and that is much of what David wrote about. It is suggested that you read the Psalms that correspond to the day of the month plus 30 until the end of the book, so today is the 31st of May, which means you would read Psalms 31, 61, 91, and 121, then read the corresponding Proverb, which would be Proverbs Chapter 31. Or, some say since Psalm 119 is so long, they read it on the 31st of each month.
Replace crying out to another with crying out to Him!
He promises to hear you and to lift you up immediately! But you must cry out! Don't think to yourself, "Well, God hasnt helped me in the past!" If He didnt help, its simply because you didnt ask. "Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find." Matt. 7:7 I have had people tell me that the only reached a breakthrough response once they got broken and on their faces before God..sincerely crying out to Him. Many of whine and cry around, more like complainers and weaklings then actual distress. This just indicated lack of faith and one must have faith to please God, the word says so. God spoke to me to scream out once, with the scripture about marching around the city of Jericho for six days, then on the seventh day have seven priests blowing trumpets while marching around the city seven times, and when the people hear the long blast from the trumpets, they were to give a loud shout and then the wall of the city would collapse. I was going to go find a empty field and just shout at the top of my lungs, because one thing I know for sure, obedience to what God tells you to do is imperative and it does not matter how crazy it is, the thing He is telling you to do..it has a divine purpose behind it. But I had prayer meeting that night and as we all stood holding hands around the prayer alter, pastor said that God spoke to him and told him that on the count of seven all of us were to shout at the top of our lungs. This is how God works, He confirms everything He tells you to do, and I did not have to find a field, God gave to me brothers and sisters in Christ to hold hands with and shout just as He told me to do that day, by giving pastor Frank the same message at prayer meeting that night. It was a couple days later that my husband came home. :-)

PREPARING FOR WAR:
Put on your armor daily as described in Ephesians 6:10-18
The schemes of the devil:
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil." Eph. 6:10-11 Remember who the real enemy is: satan, not your spouse. (I also visualize putting the armor of God on my spouse, actually dressing him in it in my mind as I say the scripture. This is a scripture that I have memorized and use every morning before letting my feet hit the floor, over me and my spouse.)
The full armor of God.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day." Eph. 6:12-13. You must resist the fear that causes you to run away or give up; stand firm and, have done everything, continue to stand firm. Psalm 37 is good to pray if you are plagued with fear. (Again, this scripture states who your warring against..and it is not humans, it is the powers of darkness that inhabit the human form to do the bidding of satan. This is real folks, Gods word is not a lie, and demon possession or influence is not just a story line for the exorcist movie. It is real and in this world today. Most people who suffer mental illness are merely suffering from demon possession. Spouses that backslide and go off into adultery or whatever else evil that destroys your home and marriage, they are in captivity to these powers and they can be set free again with your help, with your working together with God to break them free. I promise this, my husband was captive to more the one, he went out and came back with the seven more evil then the first. I lived the exorcist movie. No, his head did not spin around and he did not spit pea soup, that is for movies, but yes..he did jump out of bed in the middle of the night and curse God for no reason, he did have a evil personna, he did totally turn away from God and could not even speak of Him, mocked God, taunted Him, and my husband was a Christian man mind you. He became cold as ice, violent, and he even became sickly looking, ashen and death like. He became something completely other then the man I knew, there was no resemblance of my husband left by the end of the three years he was captive to them. As I was told would happen, when I finally believed what was wrong with him and began seeking God for help, he also started getting up in the night vomiting, and could no longer sleep in our bedroom but slept in the van. The devil cannot abide where God lives. God had to remove him from our home, and then God got me busy and together with God, my husband was set free to be with God and me again. God will do the same for your spouse! Trust Him and work with Him!
Stand Firm:
"Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth..."Eph 6:14. People talk about "stepping out in faith". It may be best to stop moving and just stand firm! It may be the difference between trusting and tempting God. Sometimes we feel like we are taking a "step of faith", but we are actually throwing ourselves off a cliff, as satan told Jesus to do. Many times we should not be taking a "step" of faith but rather a "stand" in faith. Our convictions should enable us to stand for what is right and truth. If we move, we could be falling off a cliff. They say that if God brings adversity into our lives, our stand will be the testimony. I feel that God never brings adversity into our lives, He may allow it to come in though..as it is through adversity that we grow the most in the Lord. If things were always peachy for us, we would just stay lumps of flesh and never get tossed on Gods pottery wheel for remolding. God really does not have to bring adversity to us, we bring it to ourselves through sin and disobedience..He can pretty much bank on that from us humans. It is satan who brings adversity into our lives, but most times we let him do so. Sometimes we open the door wide open and invite him in even. This can happen by the things we bring into our homes, actions we make. The good news is, God will take up the battle for us to remove him from our lives and we will have a testimony to tell of Gods powerful love and might in saving His people. Sometimes we are asked to step out and walk on water, as Peter was asked to do. Discernment is needed here. One rule that may help is the amount of urgency. Usually our "flesh" brings about urgency; God usually says to wait. Gods time schedule is not like ours, and His seems like torture most times, but there is purpose for all things, even time, God knows what He is doing, just trust Him. His word is truth, trust what He tells you, He tells you that He will heal and restore, so do not analyse it to death, the time it takes, just use this time wisely and learn all you can and grow all you can in the Lord. You will need to be strong for when your spouse comes back..your battle does not end with his or her return, a new battle begins, the battle to keep the enemy out for good and it is a never ending battle, so get warriored up while you can.
His Rightousness:
"...and having put on the breastplate of righteousness..." Eph. 6:14. God is talking about His righteousness, not yours. He tells us in His word that our righteousness is nothing but filthy rags" Isa. 64:6
Walk in peace:
"And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace...." Eph. 6:15. You can claim the promise in Matthew: "Blessed are the peacemakers!" Be peaceful with everyone at all times!
The shield of faith:
"In addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." Eph. 6:16. You must have faith - not in yourself or anyone else - but faith in God, in Him alone! Circumstance has nothing to do with faith. Believe His word alone for the truth about your situation. If He said it, you can bank on it! He said that He hates divorce and there is no acceptable excuse for it, He states what a husband should be to his wife, and how he should behave in his home, how he should raise his children, and the He did the same for the wife, He set the preceps, and He will readily transform spouses into what they should be if we only believe. Every single thing He says in His word, it is for you and you can stand on it with faith that it is, not that it will happen, but that it already has even if you do not see it manifesting in the physical earthly world as yet...it is done in the spiritual world, in the Heavens and it will come to be in the physical. If you have that faith, that shield of faith before you, the enemy cannot stand against you, he will fall away, flee from you and your spouse, your home, your marriage. Nothing he has done or will try to do will proper against you, he is defeated!
Helmet of Salvation:
"And take the helmet of Salvation." Eph. 6:17. You must be saved; you must be one of His children to really win a difficult spiritual battle. It's easy as talking to God right now. Just tell Him in your own words that you need Him, now. Ask Him to make Himself real to you. Give Him your life, a life that is messed up, and ask the Lord to make it brand new. Tell Him that you will do whatever He asks, since He is now your Lord. Ask Him to save you from your situation and from the eternity that is waiting for all those who do not accept His gift of eternal life. Thank Him for His death on the cross, the death that He died for you. You can now believe that you will no longer live alone, God will always be with you and will help you, and you will spend eternity in Heaven with Him, when your time comes to leave this earthly world. Know that now you will prosper in Him because He wants all good things for His people. Seek Him diligently and He will answer and provide for you all good things.
Sword of the Spirit:
"Take the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God." Eph. 6:17. This is exactly what we are doing here, teaching you to use the word of God in your battle..it is your greatest weapon against the enemy. He cannot stand up to Gods word, which is the absolute truth. Use His word for a battle that will be won. The enemy may say that your marriage is over, destroyed, that your spouse loves another, that it is hopeless, but God says otherwise and when you speak His word over your circumstances, the enemy must let go and flee, those chains he put upon your spouse, the chains of cold heartedness, of adultery, of divorce, they will fall away and your spouse will be set free. Gods word never comes back void, speak it and it will win the battle against the enemy. This is exactly how Jesus dealt with satan on the mountain top those 40 days of temptation. For every thing satan said to Jesus, Jesus quoted Gods word back, and satan had to move on to something new..he could not argue against Gods word. He finally gave up and left Jesus be. He had to flee. You see, when you are a child of God, then your battle is the Lords battle..He takes it from you and it is no longer yours to fight..you lay it at the foot of the cross, giving it over to Him, and you leave it there, and He fights the battle for you. When the battle is the Lords, the victory is ours, because we all know that satan never could defeat God, he was totally defeated 2000 years ago once and for all when Jesus died for us on that cross. It was over then, he just goes about trying to convince human flesh that it is not over, that he has a chance...but if you know Gods word, if you know the battle was won back on the cross, if you trust Gods word, have faith in it, then it is truely over with your circumstances..they are already won, have been won, he never had a chance! If you need to, write down on 3x5 cards scriptures that you can use in your battle, the promises of God in your situation, so when the enemy tries to attack you, you can quote the out loud, just as Jesus did, and he will flee from you.
Pray at all times:
"With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit." Eph. 6:18. Have designated times daily that you will get on your knees before God. Start out praising and worshipping Him, as God inhabits the praises and worship of His people..meaning praise and worship bring you into the very presence of God, bring you into His throne room. You can accomplish this best with music. Know that there is a diffence between praising and worshipping. Praising Him is songs of thanks and gratitude and it comes before worship. Worship is just basking in Him...giving oneself completely over to Him, feeling His glory, honoring Him, loving Him with all your heart and soul, giving Him the glory. In Gods music, praise is usually the faster beat music and worship is the slower music that reverences Him. This is the best way to make offerings of praise and worship, it is how King David did it and set the example for all of us. This will also bring the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to you. Many have wondered what it means to pray in the Spirit. Praying in the Spirit is something that happens only after you receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised the disciples that He would send a comforter to them when He was gone. On Pentecost, while in the upper room, the disciples received that comforter, which was Jesus's Spirit, the Holy Spirit. Receiving the Spirit of Jesus enabled the disciples to go out and perform miracles and signs in the Name of Jesus, doing just the things Jesus Himself did when He was with them. So the Holy Spirit coming into them empowered them with Christs power, it is how Christ gives us His power within ourselves. There is no special instructions on how to receive the Holy Spirit, it is something that comes by getting as close as you can to God. Putting yourself into God more and more, becoming one with Him, and He in turn will put Himself into you, meaning His Spirit. Praise and worship in music to the Lord is a good way to bring the Holy Spirit upon you, again it brings you directly into the presence of God, and it opens you up for the Spirit of God to come in. Once you receive the Holy Spirit within you, He will never leave you, He will be with you 24-7, and when you pray, you will hear Him take over and pray for you. He does not pray like we do, He prays in a language that is of God. This is important because when we pray out loud to God, satan hears every word we say, and this lets him in on our convos with God, letting him know our worries, our fears, our hopes and desires, our feelings, our requests of God, and he can then use them against us. He is the enemy, and like with any enemy in a battle setting, you do not want to give away your stategies or give the enemy ammunition to use against you. Therefore, until you have the Holy Spirit indwelling within you and He then is praying for you in tongues, you need to pray silently in your mind..because God is omnipotent, but satan is not. God can hear your thoughts, satan cannot. Is it not ironic that satan cannot hear our thoughts but he sure is busy putting his thoughts in our minds! Once you have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you, He will pray for you in the special language of God that satan cannot understand. You will not understand it either, but the Holy Spirit will give you the interpretation as well when He prays for you.
Be on alert:
"And with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints." Eph. 6:18. Pray for another person or persons that are going through the same trial that you are. The saints are the children of God, like yourself..you are one of the saints. The greatest thing that you can do to bring a breakthrough in your situation, is to pray for someone elses. This is a offering of sacrifice to the Lord and to your brothers an sisters in Christ. To be able to lay down your own problems and worries long enough to show a compassion and pray for someone else's, means a great deal to God, and you will find that your own situation has taken a turn about for the good without you even thinking about it or noticing. It is also important that if you hold anything against anyone when praying, that you forgive them. God says this, you must forgive all who have harmed you, as unforgiveness will hinder your prayes and block Gods movement in your situation. If you find you cannot forgive on your own, then seek Gods forgiveness for them, cry out to Him to give you something to help you to forgive, that you cannot do it on your own, and He will give you what you need to be able to release that forgiveness. You must forgive the other woman or the other man, if you cannot, God cannot help you with your situation. Seek Him and He will give you what you need to accomplish the goal.
Pray for those who persecute you:
God asks that we pray for our enemies, every one of them. This again goes with what I said above about forgiveness. This could be the other woman or the other man. Pray for them and ask God to show you what He wants you to do to bless them. It was not until Job prayed for his so called friends that God restored to Job what he had lost. "And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased all that Job had two-fold." Job 42:10. Could you stand a two fold blessing to come upon you in your situation. How about not only the return of your spouse, but they come back a new person in Christ, and ready to serve Him and be a Godly spouse to you! "But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you." He goes on to tell you why: "in order that you may be sons of your Father who is in Heaven." Matt. 5:44-45. Like Father, like son so they say. We have to put off our old selves and put on the mind of Christ if we want to serve the Lord and find His favor. God says that if we cannot forgive others, then He cannot forgive us. Sometimes the only way to find forgiveness for others is via praying for them. I had a problem with the forgiveness thing until I got on my face and begged God to help me with it, to give me something, anything, that would help me to forgive the woman who slept with my husband, and right there on the spot, He gave it to me. Since that moment, not only do I forgive her, if I saw her on the street I would run up and hug her and let her know how much God loves her. Since then, as she was the first OW, another came after her, I have no longer had that problem. When the second OW came along, I was able to walk right up to her and tell her that I forgive her for what she has done and will be praying for her, that she find the Lord and let Him into her life so she can live right and be free from the bondage she is in. I never had a negative feeling for her in my heart, not once. I also called the last OW, the one he is with now and told her I forgave her and hoped she finds Jesus. She called me for three days after that wanting to talk. She committed that adultery again with him this trip, but I can be sure of one thing, I planted the seeds, and now is going to make them grow in her as well.

Know Gods Word!
His word will not come back void!
You must know and learn God's word. You need to set out to find the blessed promises of God. These principles are from His Word and when we speak His Word to Him in prayer, it will not come back void. That is His promise to you! "So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void (empty), without accomplishing what I desire and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11. His desire was that you may overcome the evils in this world. You must do what is guaranteed by God Himself. Accept no imitations or counterfeits. So what am I saying here? I have tried to impress on people that whatever your circumstance might be, broken marriage, sickness, financial trouble, God addresses it in His word, most things He addresses way more then once. He tells us His will on the subject, His desires for you concerning the situation. So lets take broken marriage since this is where we are posting catagorie wise. God makes it clear what His will is about marriage & divorce. Mal 2:16; Mt. 19:3; 1 Co. 7:10, 7:11, 7:27, 7:39.
It is one of the subjects that He goes into many times and does not allow room for misunderstanding. God hates divorce, Mal 2:16. He intends for married couples to stay that way until death do they part. He even goes this far on the subject: God tells us to not marry a unbeliever...2 Co. 6:14, yet if we have already done so, He says do not divorce them either., 1 Co. 7:13. He only gave one outlet to obtain a divorce without it counting as sin, and that is...some will say here loudly..ADULTERY! Go back and restudy that because you are wrong. God says that even with adultery, He wants forgiveness to be given and restoration of the marriage relationship. What He said is, He will only allow it because of the hardening of hearts...meaning if there is adultery committed in the marriage AND there is a hardening of hearts. Break down hardening of hearts...this means that both partners, both the husband and wife have hardened their hearts to one another, then He will allow it. Why has He made the exception in this case? Because if both spouses have hardened hearts towards one another, then there is no one to seek God for restoration, no one will be praying for that, asking God to intervene and heal the marriage. But...if one of the spouses still has a heart for the other and seeks God to help change the heart of the other spouse back to them, God will do it, because He hates divorce, does not want it, and anytime He is sought out in prayer for something that He wants to happen, His will, it will happen, guaranteed. God will reach inside the spouse with the hardened heart, take out the heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh and renew their spirit. He will turn that spouses heart back to the wife or husband of their marriage covenant. This is guaranteed friends. He even speaks the guarantee in His word... "So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void (empty), without accomplishing what I desire and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11....." shall not return to Me void (empty), without accomplishing what I desire and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." Your guarantee that what He says will happen if you seek Him to honor His word. Now back to what I was saying that I try to impress on people to do for victory in the battle...the key to winning without a fight..the key to driving the enemy right out into the outer darkness and away from your spouse and marriage... "So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void (empty).." Pray His word on the situation over your situation. He promises that His word returned back to Him, will not return to Him void. In other words, He spoke it, and when you declare what He spoke back to Him about your situation, it will happen just as He said and you are reminding Him of. God says He hates divorce, so when you speak Gods word over your situation, divorce will not happen. But what I want you to do is actually speak Gods word. Gods scripture, not your own condensed version like I am doing here just to teach this, but His word just as He spoke it. So open up your Bible and find Gods word on divorce and speak it in prayer over your marriage.
I want to recommend something to all here as one of the best tools you can have for battling the enemy in any situation. Go get yourself a Holman Bible Publishers NIV Disciple Study Bible. I got one back in 1988 and it has been a God send. I have many Bibles, some would say I collect them even, but none that I have found compares to this Bible, and I literally would be lost without it. It went out of print for a long time, but I recently did a search and found that they have just reprinted because of the demand for this one. I have looked forever for one for each of my kids and my husband has wanted one of his own. The difference in this Bible from others is it leaves nothing to question. For every scripture verse, there is a explanation of the meaning, but more importantly...In the back is a index that contains every word in the Bible, and this is the main reason I say to go get this Bible. Here we are in this teaching and to implement this teaching in your situation, you need to find everything God says in His word on divorce so you can pray those scriptures over your marriage. With this Bible, all you have to do is go look up the word Divorce in the index and it will give you a list of every scripture in the Bible that contains the word divorce. Same with adultery, same with healing, or whatever your need is. So when it comes to praying scripture over your situation, no matter what it is, this Bible is a God send. When it comes to counciling someone on a given topic and you want to be sure to quote them Gods word, you can look up the situation word and you have before you quickly everything God says on the situation. The index not only gives you the chapter and verses..it gives you a good portion of the scripture itself, so if you are trying to remember a particular scripture, you can find it easily by browsing the list and finding the exact scripture you are looking for..you do not have to go look at every scripture pertaining to the key word to find the exact one you need. It has been a blessing to me with my husband when I have been in discussion with him on Gods word and the sin he is committing (when he is). When I am trying to drive home a point...Gods word on the matter, I do not like to give a condensed version of what He said in my words...I want to give His exact word so it cannot be questioned. I want to say "Here, look, read for yourself, there it is in black and white, His word on it, not mine." Lastly on this particular part of the teaching, I want to address those of you seeking restoration for a marriage that is not your first marriage because I know many struggle with the question of will God help you in this circumstance, because if He hates divorce, then it seems contradictory if you have already done so once and this is a different marriage..which marriage will God say should be restored? Covenant Keepers is good at slinging this theory around, restoration is only for first marriages, but they need to go back and read Gods word on it. Gods word on this is, you messed up, sinned, when you divorced before, God was not pleased that you did that, and He would have preferred that you would have stayed married to that first person, or lets say the last person in the situation of multiple marriages, but...you didn't and that is done and gone. You obviously did not know Gods word on marriage then, or you were not right with God and did not heed it, or maybe it fit under the only clause He gives for divorce, hardened hearts of both your parts. Regardless, it happened and you have went on to make covenant with another person. God directly addresses this circumstance in His word instructing that if a man divorces his wife, and the she goes out and marries another man, and the second husband then divorces her, the first husband cannot remarry her because she is defiled. Deut. 24:1-4 She is defiled when it comes to going back to the first husband, what Covenant Keepers would claim to be the only covenant marriage and the only one God will acknowledge and restore, because she made new covenant with the second husband. To go back to the first husband would make her an adulteress because she is in Gods covenant with the second husband now. A covenant is a sacred vow to and before God and is binding, it is a sin to break covenant, any kind of covenant to God. A covenant is binding no matter what number it is. If you broke covenant before, then it was broken..you sinned, it is already a done deal. If you moved on to make another new covenant with someone else before God, you are now bound to that new covenant..it has not been broken yet, and He says do not break it. He says it would be best you never made a vow then to make one and not keep it, so to not take making vows lightly. We are sinners and all fall short of the glory of God. That is why God had to send His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins..we were hopeless before that event..no hope for us that is, we faced eternal death. By breaking the first covenant, or even a subsequent marriage covenant beyond the first, we sinned and fell short of the glory of God. Now that you know Gods word, or now that you are listening to Gods word if be the case, and if you have confessed that you did sin in divorcing and you sincerely repent, and you sincerely want to go forward and not make that sin again, then God forgives you, it is done, you are forgiven and now it is time to get right and not repeat the sin. That is the key here, "Go and sin no more!" which means do not break another covenant you have made! So, God does honor the marriage covenant you are in now, because it is a covenant and He expects you to stop sinning, do not repeat the sin again, to divorce again is even worse because you are not only committing the sin of divorce, you are committing the sin of iniquity as well..and He says there should be no iniquity in you, that as a child of God you should not keep on repeating the same sins. So...God will restore your marriage if it is a subsequent marriage and not the first, it doesn't matter if it is the tenth...in that case, God says you already committed iniquity nine times over, are you going to do it yet again?! He does not want you to sin again, He would rather restore your marriage to make sure you don't sin again! Stop the iniquity!
This was a long one for it being one thing..praying scripture, but it is one of the most important ones I can give you, it is the weapon that is going to win your battle. Gods word is absolute truth and nothing can stand against it, satan cant and when you use spiritual weapons of power that he cannot defend himself against, he has to let go of your marriage, your spouse. Some of you have heard me teach on this before, and I always point out that Jesus Himself fought satan this very same way, using His Fathers word to defeat satan. Jesus went up into the mountains alone to fast and pray for 40 days, and while there, satan came to tempt Him. For everything satan said to Jesus, He replied with scripture, Gods word, and it rendered satan helpless and he just had to give up and go away. Gods word is absolute and there is no way around it, it just is and to enforce it, it will be, guaranteed. Okay, hate to stop because I had just a few things to add to this about knowing the word of God, but it is 2:30 am for me and I am typed out, so I will try to do some more tomorrow. Search for His Principles throughout your Bible. Seek understanding.
God says that if you seek, you will find. God's word gives wisdom. Looking deeper into the meaning gives you a better understanding. "And I say to you, ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you," Luke 11:9. And once you know what to do, then you can apply it to your life. "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge there rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches." Prov. 24:3-4. God speaks to us via His word, and we must read and ponder His word in order to grow and mature in wisdom of God. Even the old testament. Do not think that the old testament is just a story book, it is not. I have gained more wisdom about my circumstances and battles in the old testament then I have the new. The old testament is true accounts of real life situations, just like today we have situations. God used the book of Esther to let me know my husband was coming back from the wilderness. At the time I was not sure what exactly God was telling me, but two days after He gave me the book of Esther and I had read how Queen Vatashi had riled the King and his advisors told him to ban her from the kingdom and take a new queen, which turned out to be Esther, my husband called me, a broken man, asking if we could talk and try to restore our marriage. It was in this phone call that I learned he had moved in with another woman. I had been praying the adultery scripture over him, the other woman becoming like bitter gall to him, just for good measure, as I figured he was at least messing around out there in the wilderness, but I never would have imagined he had set up house with another woman. We laughed for some months over the Queen Vatashi thing, (that is what we ended up calling this other woman when we spoke of her). So God does speak to you through scripture and will let you know what is going on, what is going to happen and so on, but you have to open yourself up to Him. Seek Him and He will answer, He will give you understanding of His word. Just know that sometimes you have to wait on Him, as His timing is not our timing, but His is the right timing! :-)
Read His Word with delight. Mark the verses in your Bible.
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Ps. 37:4. Take the time to mark verses for quick reference in times of distress (or when leading another to the truth). In Luke 4:4-10, what did Jesus answer when satan was trying to tempt Him? "And Jesus answered him, 'It is written....It is written....It is written....for it is written....." Jesus did just what we are talking about here, He quoted scripture to satan, because satan cannot stand against Gods Holy Word, he has to flee because he has no defense against Gods word. This is the principle of praying scripture, to fight the devil the way Jesus fought him for a fail proof winning situation. Scripture is just as available to you and it was to Jesus. Know Gods word just as the Son did, and use it to drive the enemy out of your life, your marriage, your home. It works! Use a yellow highlighter to mark verses in your Bible. Mine is a mirage of colors as I have read the Bible through three times front to back, and each time used a different color. Know Gods word, all of it from front to back, they are our weapons in this life against the attacks of the evil one.
Memorize, Meditate day and night.
Memorize the promises you find so that the blessed assurance of them may sink into your mind, heart and soul. You must learn and know God's promises if you ever want to depend on Him alone. "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he propers." Ps. 1:2. The more you study and get to know Gods word, the closer you will get to God, and the more levels He will move you up in relationship with Him. The higher in levels you go up, the more fruits of the Spirit you will bear, which the more fruits you gain from God, the more invincible in Him you will become.
No matter how bad things seem, God is in control.
Our comfort is knowing that God is in control, not us and certainly not satan. "Simon, Simon, behold, satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." Luke 22:31 - 32. Sifting. Jesus knew the outcome, yet Peter still had to go through the "sifting" to be ready for God's calling on his life. Will you be ready when He calls you? "And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Jas. 1:4. You see, the truth is, God has a calling on each and every one of us. He gives every one of us gifts of the spirit, a talent that He wants you to use for the kingdom. Your purpose is to be in service to God. This is what Ps. 2:1 is speaking about, the fruits. God intends each and every child of His to root deeply and become a tree firmly planted by streams of water (living water of His spirit). God intends for each of us to bear fruit, and He says that we are the vines and any vine that does not bear fruit will be pulled up and tossed away. You are here on this board right now, the majority of you that is..(we have a couple brothers and sisters here..such as AW and JeriRose, who are here in service to God and to help others), because you are being sifted like wheat right now by satan. The enemy cannot do anything to you that God does not allow him to do. Just like with Joeb and with Peter also. God has a calling on some of us that goes a bit more beyond the typical bearing of fruit, like the disciples were a special chosen group of men for a specific purpose, to follow Jesus, learn from Him, and carry on His work and spreading the word after He returned to the Father. We are all to spread the good news of the gospel, that is a job expected of each and every one of us, but again, sometimes God has a bit more for us to do then just that..something that requires a much higher level in Him then most reach. If you are being sifted right now, it is probably for good reason that has just not been revealed yet. God has chosen you and called you out to something special, and you are being sifted to get you to the higher level required for the task. So again, I say that there is something to be said for trial and turmoil and we do need to be thankful for it. You are a special chosen people by God, there is not greater honor than that. It far bypasses the honor of being somebodys wife of husband, so understanding helps you in your trial, when you can see the other side of things, and know there is a devine purpose for things happening and that God works all things out for the good of those who love Him. We have good things ahead, isnt that awesome! Praise God that He is in control and He is always orchestrating, even the enemies hits at us, for the good..to bring out miracles and greatness! Seeing your plight in a good light can make all the difference in your attitude while in it. Wisdom and understanding brings strength because we see there is nothing to fear, God is in control and we could be in no better hands.

Curses and blessings of the mouth.
Curses and blessings of the mouth. When you are under attack, do not break and get all fearful and start speaking out how disasterous your life is, because satan hears your words, and what you speak becomes reality. It is okay to tell your circumstances to others so they can pray for you, but follow up with a notation that you know that God has control and you will be given back double for your trouble. If it is just doom and gloom, you will get doom and gloom, but if you speak victory over it all, you will have victory over it all. Everything we speak goes straight up into the spiritual realm where it manifests into realness. If you curse yourself, it will become so. I did this for years over my vehicles, used to say that I was car cursed and it did not matter if it was brand new off the lot, it would break down on me before I rounded the bend leaving the dealership. Guess what..I have had vehicle trouble all my life, until I stopped cursing myself. I like to walk around my house repeating the words, "I am a child of God, highly favored and highly blessed!". Chant it as you work. Blessings of the mouth. It is also good to repeat blessings over your spouse. I have a list of biblical sayings that I speak over Kevin, used to daily, and should again, but it was lengthy. Things such as Kevin is complete in Him Who is the Head of all principality and power. Kevin is alive in Christ. Eph. 2:5 Kevin is free from the law of sin and death. Ro. 8:2 Kevin is born of God, and the evil one does not touch him. 1John 5:18. Kevin has the Greater One living in him, greater is He Who is in Kevin, then he who is in the world. 1John 4:4. Kevin has put off the old man and have put on the new man, which is renewed in the knowledge after the image of Him Who created him. Col. 3:9, 10. I have 6 pages of these I used to say over Kevin. I will try to type them up sometime for you, but meanwhile go through Gods word and note things to say over your spouse.
Spiritual Warfare.
Take your thoughts captive. Your battle will be won or lost in your mind.
"We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete." 2Cor. 10:5-6. Don't play into the enemies hands. Don't entertain evil thoughts. Take them captive! This runs along the same line as curses and blessings of the mouth. What you let control your mind will make a difference as well. You can let satan control your mind or God, one of the two. Typically what you think will reflect itself outward in some way, typically words which if what you think is negative in your situation, then you will speak negative, therefore curses of the mouth. But even if you hold your tongue, it will show in your attitude or behavior to those involved. It will definitely show itself to God and satan, and any negative satan is going to use against you and your situation. Everytime you have a negative thought or speak a negative word, rebuke it and ask for forgiveness, and ask the Holy Spirit to take your thoughts captive unto Himself. When you find satan plaguing your mind, start praising God or singing worship songs, this will drive him back out. Oddly enough, satan can put thoughts in your mind, but he cannot read your mind..hear your thoughts. Only God is omnipotent and can hear your thoughts. That is why I teach that when in petition prayer to God, do not speak your prayers out loud, but do so in your mind, unless you are Holy Spirit filled and speak in tongues, the language of God. Remember that satan has ears and he is always ready at attention to see what you are going to say or do so he can use it. Likewise, if you speak your feelings, fears, needs and desires to God, satan also hears them and then he knows what your weaknesses are, it gives him a plan of attack. The only time you should speak out is when you are prophesizing to your situation...meaning declaring what will be in your situation...or blessings of the mouth. Speak out that your marriage will be restored, your spouse will give their lives completely over to God, and so on. Miracles of the mouth I also call them. Remember, what comes out goes up and becomes reality. Like in the book of Ezekiel, when the Lord led him to the valley of the dry bones and told him to speak to the bones, to tell them to rise up, join together, grow muscles and tendons, and cover themselves with flesh. Ezekiel did as God told him to do, and the bones did what he told them..and all the slain laying in the valley came back to life from nothing but dry dusty bones, and became a vast army for the Lord. This is a story of prophesizing to your circumstances in the Name of God. Like telling the mountain to go throw itself in the sea, same thing. Speak out what you need to be in the Name of the Lord, and so it shall be.
These are weapons of spiritual warfare, scripture prayers and prophesizing to your situation, taking your every thought captive unto God, blessing yourself instead of cursing yourself, and declaring Gods promises to satan and to the spiritual realm making them manifest. You must remember that you have the power of God within you as His child. When Jesus went back to sit at the right hand of the Father, He left us a counsler and comforter, His Spirit..the Holy Spirit, and we therefore have Jesus within us to continue His good works and declare healings and miracles in His Name. You just have to use the power of He gives you, implement it against the enemy..just as Jesus Himself did during the 40 days of temptation..It is written, it is written, it is written. Gods word says, Gods word says...Gods promise of restoration, of what has been put together by God with God as a witness let no one tear asunder, not even my spouse, of my spouses stone heart being replaced with a heart of flesh, his spirit being renewed in Christ, him putting off the old man and putting on the new man, is mine and I claim it! You can claim all of Gods word over your situation and it will be so, never fear, satan cannot stand against the word of God, no way, no how, he is a down and out loser with no recourse. Cast him away from your marriage and into the outer darkness where he is to await judgement day, he has no hold on you or your marriage...unless you give him one by lack of faith and trust in Gods word. If you stand like a winner claiming victory, you are the winner claiming victory, God says so. Bless you...
Oh, and also be aware that satan can present himself to you as a angel of light. This may sound scary as you may be thinking, "How will I know if it is satan or God?" First off, satan will never give you good advise even if it comes to you gushing of love, he is not capable of telling the truth, it is not in him. Anything from him as the angel of light is counterfeit and it will not line up with the word of God. Also know that your spouse is in captivity to satan, therefore, you need to give your spouse over to God and leave them there. Do not entertain the enemy with meetings and words, as this is when he will show himself as the angel of light, loving words of deception just to get you to show your weaknesses and vunerbilitys so he can use them against you. He will try to get you to reveal your and Gods plans so he can try to thwart them. You just have to realize that your spouse is not your spouse right now, and imagine the enemy face upon them and take caution. I teach that you must give them to God and ask God to take all control, to block communications with your spouse unless they are God ordained. This means that you do not contact your spouse, you let your spouse contact you, and then when this happens, you pray for God to be your voice, that He take over and speak through you so that you do not mess up anything. God knows how to handle satan. It is okay to let your spouse know you love them which keeps the door open for when God brings them back out of the wilderness He has them in, but it is not okay to gush over them. The only thing you need to say is that God is your first love and your new husband, and life is wonderful with you and God. Your objective is to puzzle the enemy, not help him keep your spouse captive or his hand on your marriage. Speak to the enemy like Jesus did. Gods truth will protect you and confound the enemy. So..your goals here are to avoid communication by not making the inititive to contact them, and let God control the matter by letting them contact you. If God is in control and it is not His ordained time for your spouse to speak with you, God will foil the enemies plan of such and they will not be able to get access to you. Then again, when God brings you to that meeting with your spouse, let Him speak, not you, your only voice is your love of God, your greatness of life in God. This not only defeats satan, it is a very very magnetic force on your spouse who is fighting to come out of captivity with God..it pulls on them, helping them..your peace and joy in their time of suffering in the wilderness is magnetic to God. And yes..your spouse is suffering even if you cannot see it, the wilderness is a rough place to be, even if they are with the OW or OM, trust me, the other is a bitter gall to them even if they look otherwise. The enemy is master of disguise and deception, mirages and magic tricks, illusions..but they are not real. Just know that he shows himself both ways, his evil cold self and as a angel of light, do not fall to his deceptions and schemes..stay alert and firm in God, obedient to God at all times, and you will not trip up and fall.

The Power of Three
Two or three gather together. Find two or three other women or men, whichever your case may be, who will pray with you.
"But Moses' hands were heavy, Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one of the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sunset...when Moses held his hand up, then Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down Amalek (the enemy) prevailed." Ex. 17:11-12. Find two other prayer partners to hold you up so you wont become too weary. Pray and ask God to help you find two others who are likeminded. You can find an Encouragement partner right here I am sure. On that note, I want to express to you another very powerful weapon of warfare in your situation. That weapon is praying for others! When you are deep in your own situation and battle, and you can rise up enough to pray for someone else, God runs to honor you, give you favor. Most of my growth came when the Holy Spirit instructed me to set out on a worldwide prayer fast for broken marriages. I spent day and night posting to hundreds of prayer boards announcing the fast, and God spoke to me that the fast was for seven days, a David fast, which is no meat, bread or sugar, and He told me to keep the fast going as long as people needed prayer, and I was to fast through the entire thing. This meant that those coming into the fast would fast seven days, but I was to fast as long as people kept coming in and doing seven days. It went on for over 40 days, I do not remember the exact. But I can tell you that in the process, I forgot completely about my own hurts and sufferings, battling for others made me so strong, and without even noticing, my marriage started restoring. God brought Kevin in for meetings where He could minister the word to him, which fed Kevin and broke away the chains of the enemy. And I was so strong in the presence of Kevin, I was a woman on a mission and that was to kick some devil butt off all the marriages, hundreds of them, that God brought to my attention all over the world. It had that magnetic power over Kevin, he looked totally perplexed over my peace, joy, strength and confidence in the Lord. He was perplexed also that it seemed everything in my life was blessed, my finances, vehicles, everything..people coming out of the woodwork to fix things in the house for free, cut the grass, give me money. He saw that he definitely was not needed, I had God taking care of everything and he was doing a much superior job over what Kevin had ever done! lol! There are many here in the same boat, spouses in captivity, so I would suggest you partner up in groups of three and pray together daily.
The power of three. "And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart." Eccl. 4:12
To lift the other up. "Two are better then one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up." Eccl. 4:9-10 I want you to note that this last verse says a great deal. This is why when you become a child of God, you must grow, He emphasizes you must grow and not stay babies feeding on milk, but mature into eating meat, which is the word of God. Christians who do not grow, they are weak and vunerable, and they are almost always under attack because most of the time they are inviting satan in to attack them. They lack wisdom because they do not eat the meat of Gods word, they are always wanting someone else to bottle feed them. They do not want to fight their own battle, they want someone to fight it for them. These are Christians who are always, always, crying over something. If it werent for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...Doom, despair and agony on me (I am singing here :-) There is no excuse for this, because if you are a child of God, your victory over any attack from the enemy was declared over 2000 years ago when Christ was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and by His
stripes we are healed." A true child of God has His promises and can live by them, stand on them, and find joy and peace in them no matter what the adversary comes against them with...they know that God has it in control, Jesus died for us to have victory over whatever it is. It is done, we are free, we are blessed, highly favored by God and nothing shall prevail against us! So why are you weeping, moaning and groaning and singing the doom and gloom song?!! As long as you sing the doom and gloom song, you are of no use to anyone, not to God nor to your brothers and sisters in Christ, and that is your sole purpose in Christ in service to Him, to serve others. But if you are always in doom and gloom, how will you ever lift up your brother or sister, you are on the ground all the time yourself. And if you brother or sister is constantly trying to pull you up off the ground, how will they ever help anyone else but you, which eventually they will give up and move on. God will move them on. "But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up." So I just wanted you to see the bigger picture here in this verse. You must be willing to lift up to be lifted up. This is the blessing we give to one another, our service in the Name of Jesus to one another. It brings us the breakthroughs in our own lives and situations.
He is there with you. "For where two or three have gathered together in My Name, there I am in their midst." Matt. 18:20 "Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astounded and stood up in haste; he responded and said to his high officials, 'Was it not three men we cast bound into the midst of the fire?' They answered and said to the king, 'Certainly, O king.' He answered and said, 'Look! I see four men lossed and walking about in the midst of the fire without harm, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!" Dan. 3:24 You are never alone! Remember how their robes were not even scorched, yet the soldiers ordered to throw them into the furnace were burned to death just getting close, the fire was so hot. God sent His angel to be with them and protect them. As you walk through your trial by fire that will refine you, know that there is a fourth man in the fire with you as well, and you are protected and will be restored.
Agreement. "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven." Matt. 18:19 When you are wrestling with peace about something, call someone who is believing with you and pray in agreement and know that it is done. What is there to question about this promise from God? Can you interpret this in anyway to say you are a loser in your circumstances? "anything that they (two of you in agreement) may ask, it shall be done for them." Is there any room here for doubt? NO! So what have you to fear? I agree with each and every one of you right now for restoration of your marriage, for restoration of your spouses with God, for a bright and happy future with a Godly spouse which is being returned to you from the wilderness, not a brand new spouse, but your current spouse made brand new in Christ, I agree with you right here, right now, and God says that if you and I agree to these things here on earth (and we are on earth) and we ask they be done for you and your spouse, and we do right here and right now, it shall be done. So it is done! Done deal satan, finished, complete, you are outta here! Amen, Praise You God! We thank and love You and give all honor and glory to You!
Standing in the Gap. "And I searched for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that should not destroy it; but I found no one." Ezek. 22:30. All God needed was one man, just one, to step forward and speak that he would stand in the gap for the entire land, and God would have spared the land and not destroyed it. How many times did Moses, one man, step forward and stand in the gap for the Israelites so that God would not destroy them? All it takes is one man to stand in the gap..just one...and this is why it does not matter if your spouse is captive to the enemy and the enemy says it is over, he is a liar and it is not over as long as you are standing in the gap for your spouse and your marriage. Remember my teachings on the only reason allowed for a divorce by God, and it was not adultery in itself..it was adultery accompanied by the hardening of the hearts of not one, but both spouses in the marriage. This is the only legitimate reason for divorce because if both of the spouses have hardened their hearts, then neither will be standing in the gap for the marriage. As long as just one of you is standing in the gap for your marriage, God will restore the marriage..that is His promise. "I searched for a man among them who shuld build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it.." God says that He will bring your spouse out of the wilderness and back into his own land..which is you and the marriage, your home. Stand in the gap for your marriage and you shall have restoration!
Then there are those brothers and sisters who stand in the gap for us before the Lord, like brother AW. A true man of God, and whom we are thankful for.
Pray for one another. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." Jas. 5:16. Also, confession to a like-minded prayer partner is the best way to obtain a pure heart. I think Kimberly can relate to this. I am sure it seems like we jump on her a lot, but we are trying to help her grow stronger in the Lord, to stop making the same mistakes that hinder her restoration. Sometimes, most times, we ourselves must be healed and transformed in God before He can begin transforming our spouses and healing our marriages. As the one standing in the gap, we have to be strong in the Lord, the battle rests upon us, the prayer to win the battle, the faith and trust in the Lord. God needs to transform us into total warriors so that He can use us to bring out spouses out of captivity. The battle is actually His, because the battle was already won 2000 years ago on calvary, but God needs us to transform and the main reason is, it is our mess ups, our sins, that opens the door to the enemy to come in and flood our homes and take our spouses or our children captive. If we do not transform in this restoration process, then we are just going to remain that same person who opened the door the last time, and we will find ourselves in this battle again over and over. When God settles the battle, claims the victory, He intends it to be won and not a repeated one. There will be other battles, but we should not be the same as we were and be falling into the same traps of the devils schemes. So...God uses this battle we are in, the enemies attack, for the good...He uses it to put us through the trial by fire which refines us and transforms us into new creatures in Him, higher creatures, with much more wisdom and strength in Him. Warriors. Like the master potter, He remolds us on His potters wheel making us a new vessel He can use to serve others. We are to go out and work the harvest and that can be a hard task in the world of powers and principalities, so through our own faults that caused the enemy to come in like a flood and destroy, God is taking the destruction, turning it around, remolding us, remolding our spouses, and creating a covenent partnership in Him that will go out into the world and reap a harvest! Awesome huh? You would think the devil would figure out that he is just benefiting the kingdom of God everytime he comes after one of us! Unfortunitely, some are blind though..like those who tell you that you should give us, and even many Christians fall for the lies of the enemy and give up, divorce, and let the devil win, and they never go through the fire and mature so they can be used by the Lord. You are special people of God, know that..the very fact that you are here right now and standing in the gap for your marriage..you are special, and you are meant to go on to be a powerful warrior in the army of God! What a honor!
When do you give up praying? Never! We have wonderful examples of the fact that God does not always mean no when we dont have answered prayer. Look at Joseph, God gave him a dream as a young man, but his brothers hated him and sold him into slavery, and then he was imprisoned when he was falsely accused. Then after interpreting the dreams of two other prisioners, telling one he would be reinstated into his postion serving the pharaoh and the other that he would be put to death, the pharaoh called upon him to decipher his dreams. After doing so and basically saving Egypt from seven years of deadly famine by his interpretation, Pharoah made his the greatest under him in all of Egypt. He then sold grain to his brothers and disclosed who he was and forgave them, reuniting with his family and taking care of them now also in his high position. So God sometimes works all the way around a situation before you will see the end and victory. No answer means to keep on doing what you are doing and do not veer off onto anything else. I was told,...when I found out for the first time that my husband has committed adultery and I was so devastated I could not even think and did not know what to do except give it to God,...that if I was giving it to God and leaving there, that I was to do nothing until God did answer me and tell me otherwise. I did nothing, and because I did nothing but wait on God, I did not leave my marriage and divorce my husband. So God works even in silence. :-) Can you imagine how Joseph felt, to be promised good things by God, then all the years he spent suffering in slavery and then imprisioned, I am sure he wondered what the heck was going on, where was God in all this? But..if he had not been sold and then imprisioned, he never would have gotten the attention of Pharoah and hence became his greatest man in Egypt!
Your faith is great. The Cannaanite woman continued to beg Jesus for her daughters healing. The result:"....Then Jesus answered and said to her, 'O woman, your faith is great; be it one for you as you wish.' And her daugher was healed at once." Matt. 15:2. When we pray for something that is clearly in Gods will, such as restoration, and it seems to have gone unheard or He has said what we think is "No", God may need for us to keep on asking, waiting, pleading, fasting, believing, weeping, laying ourselves prostate before Him. This is a test of our faith, and endurance brings great patience and that is one of the fruits the Lord expects us to acquire. God is typically teaching you patience in delaying the promise. But also understand that again, you must be transformed in Christ, and until you are transformed into the new creature He needs you to be, your restoration will not manifest. You will be in the fire as long as you need to be for refinement. Also note that we ourselves postpone the answer, and this happens more times then not. Your lack of faith, fear, curses of the mouth, and playing to the enemy...slipping up and taking the matter back into your own hands and out of Gods, causes you to lose gained ground back to the enemy. It is normal to feel a sadness in not having your spouse there and all well, but to become obsessed with your situation, to let it hinder your life, to weep uncontrollably, to be tossed back and forth in turmoil and feel no confidence, that is waivering in your faith..it is doubt in God, and it will totally hinder your prayers. Unforgiveness will totally hinder your prayers, as taught earlier, you have to forgive, even the OW or OM, you must not hold anything against anyone, or you will be sitting on hold in the same spot until you do forgive or do gain the confidence in God to fix your problems. Sometimes what we percieve as God not hearing us, is actually a hold pattern we ourselves have put upon the situation by not being right with God.
The battle for his/her soul. Are you unequally yoked? The real battle in your home is the battle for your spouses soul! Are you unequally yoked? Remember that you have the promise: "...you will be saved, you and all your household." Acts 11:14. Remember, a husband or wife is sanctified through his/her wife/husband. The unsaved is sanctified by the saved spouse. "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife...For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband?" 1 Cor. 7:14-17. Let me say that unequally yoked means marrying a nonbeliever when you are a believer, and God says not to do this. But..many of us have married believers and we are just as unequally yoked as the ones who married the nonbelievers. Once saved, always saved is a lie! Anytime a child of God turns their back on God and goes off to serve their own flesh, which is serving the enemy..and God says you cannot serve two masters, they are no longer saved, bottom line. If Jesus comes back and catches anyone is sin, they are lost, Christian or no Christian. But He says that it is even worse for a child of God to be caught that way! The only difference between those of us who married a child of God to have them backslide and those who married unbelievers is, stupidity. Sorry, no offense, but it is just plain stupid to marry a unbeliever, it is like asking for the devil to come in and make your life miserable. As my pastor says, it is tight, but it is right! It is a battle enough to fight a Christian spouse out of captivity, let alone a unbeliever into being saved, because that is a conscious choice plus the enemies deception. It can be done, Gods word says so right here, but anyone who willingly marries a unbeliever thinking they will change them is a fool because they have asked for this heartache that we are going through. Get them saved, then marry them, but not vice versa. Just a note for anyone not married reading this..do not be a fool!

Prayer and Fasting
Prayer AND Fasting. Jesus told His apostles, "But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." Matt. 17:21. This is what God told the disciples when they asked why they themselves, who had been giving authority to cast out demons, could not cast the demon out of the boy whose father petitioned them to help the child. Jesus Himself then cast the demon out of the boy, but this happened just as Jesus had returned from fasting for 40 days on the mountain. He told them that is why He could cast out the demon and they could not, because this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. Fasting is a very important weapon in your marriage battle because your spouse is in bondage to satan, they are in captivity and in order to break them free from those chains that bind them, just as with this demon spirit in the boy, you must do what Jesus did which is pray and fast.
If you have been praying fervently and have checked to see if your ways are pure, but the breakthrough never seems to come, then you may be like the disciples who had the authority to cast out demons, as you have authority to do also, and fasting may be called for to get your breakthrough. Even Jesus fasted, and if Jesus could have accomplished all He came to do without fasting, why would He fast? He fasted because He knew that fasting opened Him up to the highest level because it unclutters your spirit of things of the world and brings you into a sensitivity to the things of God. As David stated in Ps. 42, "Deep calls unto deep." David was fasting and he reached a place where he could cry out from the depths of his spirit to the depths of God, even in the midst of his trial. Once you have experienced even a glimpse of that kind of intimacy with our God..our Father..the Holy Creator of the universe and the countless rewards and blessings that follow, your whole perspective changes. Fasting is a overlooded secret source of power, just like it was in the Bible!
Solomon, when writing the books of wisdom, (Kimberly, it was from Solomon that we got that scripture from God on with three of these things..the earth trembles and with four it cannot bear up, which has become a important scripture to me here lately and I think it applies to broken marriages) for Israel , made the point that a cord, or rope, braided with three strands is not easily broken. Eccl. 4:12. Likewise, when giving, praying, and fasting are practiced together in the life of a believer, it creates a type of threefold cord that is not easily broken. In fact, Jesus took it even further saying, "Nothing shall be impossible!". Remember the thirty, sixty, and hundredfold return Jesus spoke of? Mark 4:8, 20. When you pray you can release that thirtyfold return, but when both prayer and giving (most of you know that I teach to sow a seed offering for your marriage to get your breakthrough) are part of your life, that releases the sixtyfold blessing. But when all three - praying, giving and fasting - are part of your life, that hundredfold return can be released to you!
There are different lengths of fasts, and three types of fasts are noted in scripture, the "absolute fast", the "normal fast", and the "partial fast".
The absolute fast is extreme and should be done for only short periods of time. On a absolute fast you take in nothing - no food, no drink including water. This fast should be attempted only with medical consultation and supervision, especially if you suffer from some type of illness such as diabetes, as it is not recommended at all for those who do have a ailmen. Below is a biblical example of the absolute fast.
Esthers three day "Absolute" fast: Esther fasted "for favor" from her husband the king. She fasted 3 days for "favor". "God assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way." Esth. 4:16. This fast (or the 7 - day) has another benefit for those who are contentious or who can never stop talking. You will become too weak to argue!! It is also recorded that apostle Paul did a three day fast and Peter fasted three days.
On a "normal fast", you typically go without food of any kind for a certain number of days, You do drink water, and plenty of it! It is recommended that you use bottled water as this fast is also known as a great way to detoxify the body. Depending on the length of the normal fast, you may also choose to take clear broth and juices in order to maintain your strength. I have done the absolute fast for some things that were critical, such as a healing of someone close to death and you need to get serious and do so quickly, but the normal fast is the one I typically use. I, myself, usually do the water only for three days, and the go into the clear broth and juice for another four, for a seven day fast.
A "Partial fast", can be interpreted many ways, but the way it cannot be interpreted is to include that time when you are sleeping at night. A partial fast usually involves giving up particular foods and drink for an extended period of time. This fast example is found in the book of Daniel. Daniel and his companions refused to eat the choice meats and sweets from the kings table, consuming only vegetables and water. They did this for ten days to prove they could be just as healthy as the kings men without the foods. Later, David did another partial fast, taking no sweets, no meat and no wine for three weeks, focused in prayer. At the end, his prayer was answered by an angel, and this is one of the scriptures God gave to me during my marriage crisis. The angel explained to David that his prayers had been heard since the second he first uttered them, three weeks earlier, but it had taken the answer this long to arrive, because the angel had to fight his way through the powers and principalities to bring Daniel the answer. This is a very good scripture for explaining the waiting period one goes through sometimes waiting on a answer to prayer...there may be opposition trying to stop or hinder the response from God, and the angels have to fight the way through the oppostition before you will see the results.
The duration of fasts can vary. There are significant numbers we find in the Bible, which include 3 days, 7 days, 21 days, and 40 days. But there are also references to half-day fasts and 24 hr. (one day) fasts. A 21 day fast of no sweets, bread or meat is called a "Daniel Fast". A three day fast of nothing again is called a "Esther Fast" and again is a fast that is used often for immediate healing needs, many miracles have come from a three day absolute fast, tumors disappearing, brain waves reappearing. We talked about these two, but lets go over the others.
The day fast begins in the evening after your evening meal. You drink only water until the the 24 hr. period is complete, then eat the next days evening meal. You fast and pray during this time for your petition. This fast can be done a couple of times a week. I do want to say right here though that the fast, any fast, must mean something to you for it to mean something to God. Sometimes believers know that a fast is used to bring breakthrough in prayer, so they do it but their hearts are really not in it. It is more a ritual thing of not eating, especially these 24 hr. fasts, with nothing spiritual put forth. I feel that a 24 hr fast needs to be accompanied by the majority of that time on your knees and face in prayer. A fast has to be a sacrifice to mean something..a giving up and in spiritually. Longer fasts need daily prayer, set aside an hour to pray, but there will be days that it is hard to do so, like day three is the worst because they say that day three is when your stomach finally completely empties out. For three days your body is detoxifying, so they are just rougher days and harder to concentrate on. Just do your best on longer fasts, but do not feel like a failure if you just cannot feel good enough to pray sometimes.
Seven day fast: There is a fast that is 7 days (which represents completion). "Now it came about when I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying before the God of Heaven." Neh. 1:4. Usually it will be during great sorrow that you are "called" to fast for seven days. What does "called" mean? When you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, sometimes He will call you to do a fast, like He did to me when He told me to start the worldwide fast for broken marriages, that went for over 40 days. Some people say that you have to be called to do a fast for it to be effective, but that is not true, as long as you make it a spiritual effort and your heart is in it. This is saying to God that your situation is critical to your heart and you will do whatever you need to do to get His help, you will sacrifice and devote yourself to the cause!
Many churches as a group dedicate to a 21 day Daniel fast in the beginning of each year for revival.
The 40 day fast, this is the most interesting in my opinion. First remember that Jesus fasted 40 days and stated that some demons only go out by fasting like this. Moses also recieved the ten commandments during a 40 day fast. Joshua fasted for 40 days as well. Now, interesting story I heard from Pastor Franklin Jentezen. He said that he was reading the book, Prophetic Whisper, by Richard Gazowsky and it told of he and his wife, during a time of fasting, were praying on the beach. His wife has walked further away down the beach from him and began praying for a woman they knew who was being tempted into adultery. The moment she spoke the womans name out loud, a swarm of flies ascended from the ocean surface, as if orchestrated by an invisible conductor, and swept like a blanket across the water and onto the beach. He rushed over to see if his wife was okay. When she told him that she had been praying for the friend, the Lord revealed what Gazowsky refers to as a "vunerability in satans kingdom", that being the flies. Franklin says that he immediately thought of the scripture in Matt. 12:24, "Now when the Pharasees heard it they said, 'This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons." They were accusing Jesus of operating with the power of satan, or as they referred to satan..Beelzebub, which means Lord of the flies. He found it very interesting, and so do I, not surprizing at all either, that during a prayer for someone who is being tempted by demons, a horde of flies came out of nowhere and descended upon this couple. Gazowsky says that he found the "weakness" or vunerability, relates to the life span of flies. Pretty much any species reproductive cycles range from one day to 40 days. That is why in order to exterminate a infestation of flies from a crop, you have to spray pesticides for 40 consecutive days in order to utterly destroy them. If you stop short of 40 days, you only destroy the existing generation, but the next generation will live on. This is a good point when it comes to generational curse and breaking them also. You may be free of a sin, say addiction, that has been a history in your family, and even though you are free, you see it happening in your children. This leads one to think that a 40 day fast is necessary to break generational curses off your family once and for all. Throughout the Bible, 40 days represents cleansing and purifying. The flood in Noahs time cleansed the earth of wickedness for 40 days and nights. Moses life could be divided up into three different seasons of 40. He spent 40 years in Egypt. He spent 40 years in the desert and 40 years bringing and delivering the Israelites to the Promised Land. He also fasted for 40 days two different times, once recieving the Ten Commandments and once interceding for the sin of the Israelites and God spared them. When Jonah went to Ninevah, he gave the inhabitants 40 days to repent of expect judgement, and the king of Ninevah called a fast for the entire land, of which they were awarded with mercy instead of judgement. Elijah fasted for 40 days in the desert, and during that time he spoke with God and recieved new direction, remember the valley of the dry bones, and prophesizing, this is when it occurred. The word Eljah recieved during that 40 day fast also affected the next generation. There is a prophetic release that occurs in and individual who fasts continually for 40 days. This does not necessarily have to be from food either, it could be from tv, or the computer, or anything unproductive to the Kingdom of God. Wonder what kind of cleansing would occur and glory would be released if we fasted an additional hour of every day for 40 days to spend in prayer with the Lord (meaning dedicating without fail one hour daily for 40 days to prayer).
Flies represent demons in the Word, ad do other animals. If you could see into the spirit world, many demons resemble animals. Do some of you remember me telling you about when I blessed my house when my husband went out, the last time when he was in captivity to seven demons, and within 24 hours these silvery very shiny winged fly looking creatures who could only hop came up out of the bathroom floor, through the carpeting, and literally covered the dining room floor as they marched, hopped that is, towards the side porch door. There were millions of them, and within a hour there was not a single one to be seen, they went under the door of the side porch and on out. I called my pastor hysterically and he advised me I was such a sceptic about demon possession that God showed me the manifestation of the demons that were still in my home leaving when the house was blessed. These demon spirits attach themselves to our lives, they carry off our spouses in captivity, into adultery, or addictions. They are generational curses, mental illnesses, bondages, strongholds of the mind, lust, perversion, and addictions of every kind, they are divorce! The problem with most churches is that they just swat at flies for a few days when they are right in their faces, then they go away for awhile, but they keep coming back! Its time to clean house! It is time for a scriptural season of cleansing. With cleansing, devils will start dropping like flies! WhooHoo! Not only in your life, in your generation and in the future generations of demons that are passed down to your children. Solomon wrote, "Dead flies putrefy the perfumers ointment, and cause it to give off a foul odor." Eccl. 10:1. Flies would get into the special annointing oil, they'd get stuck in it, die, and spoil the fragrance. Flies hinder the annointing in our lives. Worship gets polluted by flies of fleshly desires, and draws one away from God and into captivity. This is their job folks! It is time to get rid of the flies with 40 days of fasting! It may be time for you to cast out demons from your spouses with 40 days of fasting and praying!

When you are hungry or weak, use that time for prayer and reading His Word.
In order to be seen.
Keep as quiet about your fast as is possible. During the fast, you are to be silent, never complaining or drawing attention to yourself. "And whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance in order to be seen fasting by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you fast, annoint your head, and wash your face so that you may not be seen fasting by men, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will repay you." Matt. 6:16-18.

Matthew 19:4-6 Havent you read, Jesus replied, that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, 'For this reason a man, Neville, will leave his father and mother, (her name) and be united to Sheila, his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So Neville and Sheila are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
Then also pray this over you and Neville:
Song of Songs 8:6-7 Place me, Sheila, like a seal over Nevilles heart, like a seal on Nevilles arm; for Nevilles love for me is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench Nevilles love; rivers cannot wash it away. If Neville were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.
Pray these above daily, and also pray these below placing Nevilles and your names where I have ours (I typed these for me and my husband way back when). Also, in Gods eyes you are still married, so you need to consider yourself that way, marriage is a blood covenant and a couple stays married in Gods eyes until the blood convenant is broken, which means intercourse with someone else on either one of your parts. It is called the blood covenant because God intended for all of us to remain virgins until marriage and then when the newly married couple consumated the marriage, blood was spilled, the womans hymen being broken, consumation of marriage was intended to spill the blood of the blood covenant spoken between the man and woman. Good thing for us, God is a merciful forgiving God, and even if blood is not spilled, it is still a blood covenant that can only be broken spiritually by the spilling of new blood, or new consumation of a spoken covenant/vow before God:

Lord Jesus, You have declared that what therefore go has joined together, let no man separate. You have declared the will of the Father. It is the Father's will for marriages to be for a lifetime. You desire one man to be with one woman for life. This is Your heart's desire. Because this is Your heart's desire, I plead with you to save and strengthen _____________ and ______________'s marriage. Because this is Your heart's desire, I ask in the name of Jesus that You will do whatever it takes to protect and defend this marriage. O God, do not let sin, Satan, circumstances, or problems separate what You have joined together (Mark 10:2-9).
I am going to go ahead and just post the other scriptural prayers that I just happen to have typed up already in another post, because I am not sure if I am duplicating any or not. I was going to organize the prayers I had done up and post them here soon, but it is important for some to have them now..so will just post them and let you all go through them getting what you need.
God bless..you will win this war, have no doubts about that, God hates divorce and God says that you are still married in His eyes, that He wants you to go back together then to vow a new convenant with someone else. It would be different if either of you had already remarried and a new covenant had been formed already..but at this point, you need to go back to one another and God will do that for you.

Below are scriptural prayers you can pray over your marriages. I had intended to organize these as I am just randomly gathering them up from my documents. I used to type them and then print them out to use in my prayer room, so I have several documents of things like this, and some could be repetitive, not sure. But I guess it would be better for you to have them and be using them then to wait for me to get organized. Just insert your names where I have ours.
Just to start this out I want to give you a rhema word God gave to me a long time ago in my battle for my marriage that I found so awesome that I typed it up and kept it. This is what the Lord has to say about your situation.
The enemy, a roaring lion, who comes to steal, kill and destroy, has raided Gods flock of sheep. He has devoured the sheep. By time the Shepherd arrives, He finds that all that is left is a piece of a ear hanging out of one side of the lions mouth, and two leg bones hanging out the other side of the lions mouth.
The enemy tells the Shepherd, "It's too late, its over, its dead, it is not worth fighting for." But the Shepherd does not listen, he wrestles the lion for the piece of ear and the two leg bones and takes them away from the lion.
Why did the Shepherd fight for what the enemy says is already dead and not worth fighting for? Why did he not give up when it all seemed impossible, just a piece of ear and two leg bones that looked nothing but dead and gone?
Because The Holy Spirit says "As long as they have a ear to hear and a leg to stand on Gods Word, then it is not over - because what is dead, I will give life again!"
This is not just some story I am telling you to make you feel better, this is Gods Word........
Amos 3:11-12

An enemy will overrun the land; he will pull done your strongholds and plunder your fortresses.

As a shepherd saves from the lions mouth only two leg bones or a piece of an ear, so will the Israelites be saved, those who sit in Samaria on the edge of their beds and in Damascus on their couches.
Praise God! God says that your miracle is not based on what has been taken from you, but on what you have left! What do you have left? The unconditional love and forgiveness for your spouse and a great hearts desire to restore your marriage. You have the truth of Gods Word that He will restore your loved one to Him and that He will restore your marriage to you. You will be seeing a lot of Gods Word on your marriage in the prayers below. You have faith, because faith as small as a mustard seed will move your mountain in the Name of Jesus Christ. You have the hope of Gods promise to restore to you what the enemy has stolen 7 fold. You have God on your side, and He who is in you is greater then he who is in the world. Lets praise and thank God that He can always work with what we have left in every given situation, and He loves doing so. Giving life to what appears to be dead is testimony to the world that He is the almighty! We love and thank Him for all He does for those who seek him earnestly!
Due to popular request, I am posting prayers here for others to use over their marriages. These are prayers that I have spoken over my marriage, they are all centered on scripture which is the most powerful prayer you can pray for anything. When satan tempted Christ for the 40 days and nights, everytime he tempted Christ, Christ would respond to him with scripture. Scripture stymies the devil and sends him packin because it is Gods Word and Truth. The devil cannot stand up against it, he has to let go of your situation when you speak Gods truth over it. Lord, I keep asking that the God our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give Kevin the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that he may know You better. I pray also that the eyes of Kevins heart may be enlightened in order that he may know the hope to which You called him, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints. Thank You, Lord, for Your incomparably great power for us who believe. I pray for Kevin that the acts of the sinful nature with its passions and desires which are obvious in his life will be crucified and removed. That You will fill Kevin with the fruits of the spirit which are love, joy, peace, patience kindness, goodness, faithfullness, gentleness, and self control. I praise and thank You, Lord, for our help is in the Name of the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and earth. Oh Lord, I call with all my heart, answer me, O Lord, and I will obey Your decrees. There is sin that leads to death, I am not saying that he should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. We know that Kevin, born of God does not continue to sin, the One who was born of God keeps Kevin safe, and the evil one cannot harm Kevin. We know that Kevin is a child of God and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We also know that the Son of God has come and has given Kevin understanding so that Kevin may know Him who is true - even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Lord God, You say if I pray for my beloved husband Kevin who has not committed a sin leading to death, that You will give him life. Give him life Lord God, in the Name of Jesus hear my petitions above and give Kevin life. Bring new life to our marriage and bring us out of the wilderness and captivity the enemy has held us in to do his will. Break these chains Lord off our lives and marriage, and give us life as You promise in Your Word. I thank You Lord, I love You above all others, including Kevin, You are my only need, the center of my life, and my hope rests in You always and only. I praise Your Holy Name, I dance and sing to You only Lord, as You are the steps in my feet and the song in my heart, and I shall dance and sing to You in joy and celebration, I love You so...my King, my Savior, You are all I need, all I want, all my life is to serve and worship You. Thank You for chosing me and loving me, calling me out to Your service and Your inheritence. Ephesians 1 - 2
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed Kevin in the spiritual realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose kevin in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love He predestined Kevin to be adopted as His son through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will - to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given Kevin in the One He loves. In Him Kevin has redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Gods grace that He lavished on Kevin with all wisdom and understanding. And He made known to Kevin the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment - to bring allt hings in Heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
In Him Kevin was also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that Kevin, who is the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory. And Kevin, you were also included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, Kevin, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing your inheritance until the redemption of those who are Gods possession - to the praise of His glory.
For this reason, ever since I heard about Kevins faith in the Lord Jesus and Kevins love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for Kevin, remembering Kevin in my prayers. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.
As for you Kevin, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobediant. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, Kevin, you were by nature objects of wrath. But because of His great love for Kevin, God who is rich in mercy, made Kevin alive with Christ even when Kevin was dead in transgressions - it is by grace Kevin has been saved. And God raised Kevin up with Christ and seated Kevin with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to Kevin in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you Kevin have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourself, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that one can boast. For Kevin is Gods workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for Kevin to do.
Therefore, remember that formerly Kevin, you are Gentile by birth and called uncircumcised by those who call themselves the circumcision (that done in the body by the hands of men) - remember that at that time Kevin, you were separated from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigner to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you, Kevin, who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For He Himself is your peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed tthe barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in His flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to creat in Himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through their hostility. He came and preached peace to you Kevin, who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
Consequently, Kevin, you are no longer foreigner and alien, but fellow citizen with Gods people and member of Gods household built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in teh Lord. And in Him You too, Kevin, are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family in Heaven and on earth derives its name, I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen Kevin with power through His Spirit in Kevins inner being, so that Christ my dwell in Kevins heart through faith. And I pray that Kevin, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know of this love that surpasses knowledge - that Kevin may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

As a prisioner for the Lord, then, I urge you Kevin and Kris to live a life worthy of the calling you have recieved. Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the blond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit - just as you, Kevin and Kris, were called to one hope when you were called - one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
I praise You Lord God, in the Name of Jesus I come pray Your Word over my spouse Kevin, and our marriage, knowing Your will for us to remain united and wait for You to complete a good work in both of us. I thank You for predestining both of us to be Your children Father God, and for the love You have for both of us. I thank You for giving Kevin to me as my spouse, even in hard times I thank You for the blessing of my husband. I thank You for all You are doing in him and in our marriage, and know that what You have coming for us is beyond my greatest imagination and expectation. I anxiously and with great expectation wait on the wonderous workings of Your hand Lord, and put all my hope and faith in You. Thank You for the love You have given me in Kevin, while I walk in this earthly realm, and I declare that always You Lord God are my first and greatest love, and I joyously look forward to the time I can come be with You in the Heavenlies, and I thank You Jesus for making that possible for me and for Kevin. Only by Your great grace and mercy are we able to walk through this world and have hope of anything...all things come from You Lord, and I know that the promise of our restoration comes from You and I will forever sing praises and songs of love and thanks for all You are doing in our marriage and faith walk with You.
