Well, here we go. I know the Lord is moving in my life, and the lives of my children. There is something around the bend with our names on it. I know this in my soul, and I am waiting with anticipation. The Lord has put a great calling on our lives, but sometimes when He is silent, I feel alone. I have been in a great deal of prayer lately, but the breakthrough still seems out of reach. I need prayer for a renewing touch, a new spirit, freshness to be placed upon me. I sometimes get inpatient looking at the circumstances that surround me. Please keep my family in prayer. I need a word from the Lord like no other at this time. I thank all of you, that have really been there for me and my family. You are all like family to me.

Oh Cindy, wow sis, I am going through the same thing right now. In fact, I asked Pastor Jerry to pray for me during this time and he wrote this to me this morning. May it bless and encourage you as it did me. I am praying for you. Many Blessings ((((HUGS)))

Dear Nina:

I know it does not feel this way but the Lord is drawing you closer to Him
There is a verse in the bible that says:
And she cried unto to the Lord and He answered her not. It was test to bless her even more than she asked for.

When God is silent he is not silent.
He is always getting ready to bless.
He teaches in the silence
He tests in the silence
He pulls you closer to Him in the silence
He makes you hungry in the silence.

He quiets the thunder
He quiets the wind
He quiets the noise

So he can speak quietly to you.
He is getting your full attention
He is making sure He can speak.

So again my friend enjoy the silence and quiet
because when he finishes He will show you His glory.

Jan & I Love you
Pastor Jerry

The walls of Jericho were a formable fortress. It seemed that the army of Israel could beat against those walls to no avail. God called them to march around the city singing praises. Seemed crazy....no reason to be full of song. After so many days the walls came tumbling down...
You think you can not hear God's voice...Let him hear your voice, seems crazy.....no reason to be full of song, lifting voices of praise....Yet God is God and....the walls...will come tumbling down.

Dear Cindy,

I believe and have experienced what Christy is mentioning. It sounds strange, but what you said really strengthens me, because that has happened to me to. But later when the Lord chose the time, when I almost least expecting it, I was overcome by His spirit. But keep doing what Christy suggested, keep praying and praising the Lord and serving him. He'll lead you right. I was told in a blessing that the Lord would "test my abilities to keep his commandments," and now looking back I really see how those "quiet times" were a kind of test, what we'll do. Will we lose our faith even just for an instance. But keep drawing near to him and he'll draw near to you. I've thought about this before. If the Lord always immediately blessed everyone who was good and immediately answered every prayer, the wicked would be enticed to be good perhaps for the wrong reasons to get a reward. I believe and heard it once said, that the Lord wants to know who he can trust. Who will follow him in obediance even in the dim of uncertainity. The Savior even had that one moment on the cross when the Father withdrew his spirit, so he could do it on his own. But over all, I know He's there for you and will never let you down.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask for Your spirit to be poured out upon Cindy and she may know You are there interested in her life and directing it's course for Your holy purposes. I pray she may know the things to do, in prayer and meditation to grow closer to You. I pray that You knock down any barriers. I pray for the sweet inspiration of the spirit to flow into her and increase her faith and testimony. I pray for divine guidance to be poured out upon her. Bless her family with every blessing they are in need of spiritually and temporally, in Jesus Holy Name amen.
