Hello. First I want to thank you for your faithfullness to God, and this site. Second, I have a question. The Lord has been putting something on my heart for quiet some time now. I have been studying like a mad woman, trying to find out what to say. What do you tell the wounded Christian soilders. I visit your site for prayer for all of our military, and what I mean is there is one army that will destroy, kill, and or mame themselves. The Christian army. There are thousands of people right now at this very second that are vowing never to enter a church again. That have turned from the Lord because of situations, circumstances, or what not that other Christians have inflicted on them. These wounds take years to heal. If they ever do. I would like to pray for these people. Can you imagine how many people are sitting at home on a Sunday morning, knowing they should be somewhere, but not wanting anything to do with church, or sometimes the Lord for that matter. These people having turned their backs on the Lord, are feeling desperately alone. Even when they do humble themselves, and try to pray, they are feeling that they have no right, because they walked away. The only thing I have been able to say to one wounded brother is that his right to come into the presence of the Lord-hung on a cross, so many years ago. Any advice you have would be appreciated. These people need to know, not all of us are murderers, and that they are accepted. Isnt it amazing, with the way some of these are treated, especially in the House of Our Lord, they get better treatment at the neighborhood bar. Please Pray for these that we as the children of the Most High God have forgotten about.
Thank you,
Cindy Renee

Dear Cindy,
I know that you directed this question to Jerry, and I hope you don't mind if I jump in here, but your letter REALLY spoke to me.
As a family that had the deacons of a church come to our house and tell us that we were no longer welcome at their church I can relate.
They were up such a creek because they had to fill all the jobs suddenly vacated by our active family! They were so sorry they threw us out! LOL.
As you can see, I am far past the pain of the moment, but I remember it well. It took some time for us to soak in forgiving and releasing before we could attend anywhere.
And, I must admit, that to this day, we aren't active like we were before they showed us the door. Our offense was that one of our children was rude to a very powerful woman in the church.
In hindsight, they did us a great favor. We learned a lot and grew a lot.
Over time, each one of them came to us and apologized. I think it was group temporary insanity.
I have a real heart for the wounded and the people who are on the edge and aren't about to commit again and expose themselves to the same danger.
I hope the Lord shows you some great ways to help them.
Thanks for listening to my story. It helped just to tell it after all this time.

Thank you for your message. I pray that the Lord, will continue to heal your broken heart. I have been in this place myself, and it is UGLY. I know we are not to look at man, and keep our eyes on HIM. That is what keeps me going. But we live in this world, and it kills me to see this kind of thing going on all over, all the time. I pray for these forgotten ones daily, and although it was a long time ago for you, I will add you to this prayer if you dont mind. We are all a people in need of a new touch, and healing. If you dont mind, I will drop you a note, now and then. Also, your words encourage me.
Thank you,
Cindy Renee
