God is working!

Please pray for me today. I am very of messing this up. This morning * 4:00 my husband called and said he wanted to stay at our house for the night (He gets off work at 3:00 a.m.) I told him I would love for him to but I didn't want our son who turned 6 today to wake up and see him there and think he is home. He said "wellI was planning on probably coming on home." We got off the phone and I got down on my knees and thanked God and asked him to be with me and give me the words to say when he walked thru the door. When he got there we talked for a bit about his night * work and then we talked again about my little boy waking up and seeing him there. He said he would just get up before he did and tell him he just came by to see him. And i mentioned him saying he was probably coming home and he said he was not sure what he is going to do. I believe that God is working in a mighty way in our lives. God is the only reason he called me tues morning at 3 a.m. to talk and why he came home last night. I think he wants to come home but wants to make sure he won't regret it. I told him that by obeying God he would help our marriage. I am so afraid today. I have been so faithful and confident and today it is not that I don't trust God it is that I don't trust myself fully. I am afraid that I will fail this test by saying or doing something to hinder my husband's decision to come home. God is just doing such an amazing work in my life I don't want to mess his his work up. Please pray for me. I don't want to do or say the wrong thing today. It would be so wonderful if he decided to come home today. Today is our son's birthday, this is our week for visition with my step son who does not know yet what is going on and would not have to if he comes home. But I know I it will all happen in God's good time.

Dear Lord, I lift Standinginfaith up to you as ask you to give her peace. Lord, you say in your word that you have not given us a spirit of fear, so I rebuke all fear from her in the name of Jesus and ask you to fill her with your Holy Spirit and your love and peace. Guide and direct her as she speaks with her husband Lord and I bind the enemy that would try to operate through her and her husband in the name of Jesus, and pray that your perfect will would be done here and this prodigal will come home now. I thank you and praise you Lord for all you are doing and for bringing him home. And Lord, I pray that when he comes home now, that you would keep him home Lord and there would be no more leaving. Father we give you all praise and glory for bringing him home and keeping him home, and drawing him to you and giving him a new heart and a new spirit that is willing to lay down his life for you and his family in Jesus precious name I pray, amen.
Now you need to rejoice and trust and rest in God. God is the one who is going to bring him home and God is the ONLY one who can keep him there. Yes, you need to be sensitive to the Holy Sprit and "zip the lips" as we all do, and walk in the spirit, but don't allow yourself to become fearful and walk on eggshells for fear that any little thing you do could push him back out the door. If you do, you will most likely cause yourself a lot of worry and anxiety, and you will then be more likely to react in the flesh rather than the spirit. We are all called to submit to the Lord and walk in the spirit, but God knows we are not perfect. While we strive for it, we can't attain absolute perfection in this life. We will make mistakes at times, and when we do we should quickly acknowledge them, seek forgiveness and move on. Only God has the power to change your husband's heart so that he will come home and stay home. Take the burden off yourself and put it where it belongs, on the Lord. Rest in him. Trust him to guide and direct your every step in his perfect love which casts out fear.
Praise God for this breakthrough!!!!!

CALL THOSE THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS IF THEY ARE! your username is standinginfaith, sweet child of GOD, STAND IN FAITH! be RELENTLESS in tunnel vision on THE LORD and in FAITH knowing GOD is the GOD of all restoration. my husband is gone too, in the drug world, sex world, everything horrifying, HOWEVER OUR GOD IS MIGHTIER THEN all the devises of the enemy! we are here STANDING IN FAITH w/you GOD has restored our marriages as unto HIM and our husbands ARE the GODLY men of our families!
