Bridges for Peace in Israel

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that these peace accords could go forth between Israel and the Palestinians to break down the barriers between these two great nations. I pray that You will have a hand in it. I pray that You speedily fulfill Your eternal purposes for them and guide Israel onto their glorious destiny. Father keep them from feeling overwhelmed by their sufferings and enkindle them to fervent prayer and let them not put their trust in might, but in You, who will sustain them. Give them daily the grace of faith in the face of opposition. In any dark and difficult times, let them experience miraculous instances of Your help. Lift and encourage them in all their trials. Raise up men of God among them to speak with spiritual authority. Help them to always remember Thy hand in the miraculous establishment of the modern state of Israel and the return of the Jews from many nations. Father let Thy compassion flow over them forever.

Yes Lord we ask this for the furtherance of Your Holy Nation and Kingdom.
Prepare these people for the end of days when You will return in great Glory. Let there be peace and trust in You in their hearts whatever is happening around them in their living hell at the moment. Please do not let this angry nation continue to portray such a bad image and sad goings on. We ask that You bring peace through the answering of so many peoples prayers and through the politics of Isreal and Palestine. Move in a mighty way Jesus for this is the place of such Holy people past and present and the unbelieving world look on this and disbelieve because of such violence and disarray. How is this furthering the Kingdom Lord?
Please let the news be filled with Good news of the end to this long and painful battle so that the unbelieving may believe that peace and love will overcome violence and hatred and war. These are the very people that need to see before they can believe Jesus. Through Christ all things are possible.Amen

Abba... remember your friendship with Abraham. Arise and defend the children you promised to Your friend. Look upon their weariness. Consider the waning hearts of these surrounded by murderers and idolators. You have erected defense. You have performed miracles. You have created the parameters whereby these precious ones may live and move and thrive. Now I ask of Israel that that may eat and recline and enjoy the benefits of Your great covenant even in the midst of their enemies. For the joy of the Lord is their strength (Neh. 8:10). Now visit them as in the days of Nehemiah. Erect a new standard. Fortify the wall. Reveal and unveil these, your emblems of peace, in our day. Teach the warriors to bear also the shovel to aid the laborer and equip the laborer also with a sword to defend his brother's back. And Lord we beseech You that the Arabs that have adopted the name, Palestinian - and this only since 1922 - would remember their homelands. They they would forgive the alienations of the Chaldeans, the Assyrians, the Persians, the Edomites, and all their brethren. Set love in order in their midst and undermine the venom of ant-Semitism by causing these nations to turn again to those wayward children falsely deemed - Palestinian. Correct this grave error. And redeem the wars and loss of life that has ensued due to this hatred and deception. In the meantime guard Israel. Cause Michael to stand radiant with the Host and to turn back the wicked hordes. Let peace reign and your people to hope in this Kingdom in Israel and to the uttermost parts of the earth. Remind all the nations of Your great faithfulness. Cause them to look upon Jerusalem. Cause them to remember Your covenant - that despite ages and conflicts and holocausts - this Your great people have not ceased from being a people. And this to Your fame! Therefore let us not forget Jerusalem but be enlivened in faith that You have performed Your pleasure and benefited them. So bless us as we bless them. For if we lose sight of this surely our tongue with dry up in silence and our right hands forget their skills (Ps. 137:5-6). Therefore Jerusalem is also our chief joy for so much treasure and inheritance has visited us for her sake. Thank you , Abba, for hearing and acting. Build the wall and make it strong as in the days of Nehemiah.
