Going to Terri Schiavo's defense

Hello all,
There is a group of my friends who are considering going to Florida to protest the murder of Terri Schiavo. Some are going to Pinellas Park and some are going to Tallahassee. I am wondering if there are others here who are considering the same and would like to meet or share accomodations.

Know anyone in Florida who would offer a place to stay? PM me if you are interested.

Please be quick!!! Look up churches in her city. A rhema church is a spirit filled bible based church. I'd call them. Here is a list don't know where she is. Hope this helps.

She is in Pinellas Park Florida (near Tampa). A list of churches in HER area would be more helpful. There is also a group going to Tallahassee (state capitol) to talk with legislators.

Like you said close to Tampa. Tampa is 26 minutes from Pinnellas park and these churches may have parishoners who live in pinellas park. Worth a call or two!!

Reprieve for Schiavo Til March
....Circuit Court Judge George Greer has ordered the date of March 18th as the date which estranged husband Michael Schiavo can carry out Greer’s five year old death order and disconnect Terri’s feeding tube. Judge Greer said that he was no longer comfortable granting delays in carrying out the judicial death sentence. Wednesday, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) filed a motion of their intention to investigate the allegations of abuse and neglect of Terri Schiavo. That motion requested a stay of 60 days to allow for them to complete the investigation. Terri’s parents, the Schindlers, are expected to ask another court to prevent the removal of the feeding tube. State officials, including Governor Jeb Bush, are also trying to intervene in the case....

....At this point, it will take further action from the Florida Legislature....Carrie Gordon Earll, senior analyst for bioethics at Focus on the Family, said the March 18 date gives pro-life Florida lawmakers just enough time to draft and introduce legislation to address this situation.
"Our hope is that the Florida Legislature will feel the heat and move quickly through this window of opportunity to find a legislative remedy," Earll said. "This is our chance to speak out — and we need to do it."
The Florida Legislature convenes March 8, unless Gov. Jeb Bush calls a special session beforehand, and lawmakers will have fewer than two weeks to pass legislation to save Schiavo's life.
Earll said any legislation approved in Tallahassee would have to be general legislation. Though lawmakers passed a law in 2003 granting Gov. Bush the right to intervene and halt Schiavo's medical execution, the Florida Supreme Court subsequently overturned that law because it applied only to Terri's situation.
Earll said it will soon be up to all of us to do everything we can to make sure the bill gets through the process in nine working days.
"There is no question in my mind," Earll said, "that Terri Schiavo is alive today because in October 2003, people called and e-mailed the Florida Legislature and put that pressure on her behalf to bear on that elected body. And it appears that an opportunity is coming for us to be able to do that again."
At this moment, please take time pray that God grant His wisdom and favor to the lawyers working on Terri Schiavo's behalf, and that the members of the Florida Legislature would see the truth behind the situation, regardless of how the mainstream news media might report it, and prepare necessary legislation.

God bless you guys! I hope the whole world protests this act of murder. I only wish I new someone in Florida to help you out. I have prayed and prayed over this. It just seems so wrong and heartless. May God have mercy on thier souls if they do let this happen. God bless you and good luck!
