Ex-metal guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch, 34, a founding member of the multi-platinum metal band Korn from the United States, talks to members of the media in Jordan river's baptismal site near the Kibbutz Kinneret, in northern Israel, Saturday March 5, 2005. Welch was later baptized in the Jordan river, just weeks after quitting his band, drug habits and rock-and-roll lifestyle for religion.[NOT religion!!!! oh man they will never get it ] Thousands of pilgrims are baptized annually in the revered river where according to the Biblical tradition, John the Baptist baptized Jesus. TOO COOL!! Thanks!
He's still a Baby Christian, he'll "get it" eventually!!

No, I did not mean him!
I meant the one who wrote this. They all say he chose religion. He chose Jesus. Check out his testimony, he's the real deal!
Very encouraging testimony. I love it when people are really serious about Jesus and he is serious you can see that.

I got to watchthe video (at first I had trouble with it, so I could only listen to the audio version) The Pastor sounded like David Foster, a Pastor in Nashville TN who has a congregation of 4400 and the church is in an auditorium, 4 services a Sunday. So, since I could not see the video at first, I was wondering if the Pastor was David Foster, but he was not. AWESOME video and testimony!

Yes.
The Korn fans are not too amused about it. Actually there are fans which think this is a joke.
But it's not. They simply don't get it. They think he's crazy.

Whoohoo! I have been praying for some pretty strange people to get saved -- well, not as faithfully as I used to. How about Marilyn Mason and the members of Motly Crue (well, they are an older band, mabye before your time Frederik)? Wow, this REALLY encourages me. I used to pray for Marilyn and Motly Crue daily . What happened? Just hard to keep up with those daily lists, I guess. But not one prayer went unoticed, and God probably has others praying now. So guess what? They ARE going to get saved!!!

Marilyn Manson? Good idea.
He needs to be saved. He's so confused and I think that in his mind he even thinks he's doing a good thing....
I know Motley Crue. I heard they are just having a re-union and Tommy Lee and the lead singer need to be kept on different tour busses otherwise they would kill each other cause they cannot stand each other. Wow, what a cool band.

I saw a clip of Brian being baptised on 700 Club. Way cool! His Pastor said that he is going to stick close to Brian and disciple him, as many who have started for Christ (celbrities) don't stick with it, and his Pastor is determined that Brian will. Brian wants to stick close to the Pastor, too, so that is good news. This is the real deal, I can tell. (I couldn't get the video to play today, because Yahoo says the service is unavailable.) After seeing that on the 700 Club, I really want to see this video. I will try again.

Dear Lord, please save Marylin Manson. Nothing is too difficult for You! Also, save Tommy Lee, Vincent Neal, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars of Motley Crue. I know YOU are able! In Jesus Name, I pray, amen.

Video on the 700th club?
how can I find it? I'd like to see him getting baptized.

I'm thinking if you went on the CBN website (Christian Broadcasting Network) or try fininding the 700 Club website, you can watch a rebroadcast of the program I saw on Wednesday, the 9th. My niece used to watch "Life Today with James Robenson" on line all the time. By going on his site, she could pick the broadcast date of the one she wanted to see, open the link and watch the show any time she wanted. I have a feeling The 700 Club would have that, too. Or try CBN or Christian Broadcasting Newtwork and see if they have a 700 Club link.

Dear Lord, please keep Brian strong in You. Don't let him ever turn back! I pray he is discipled well, and I pray he has a mghty ministry for You. I think of Jeff Fenholt from Black Sabbath and the anointing on him. Put such an anointing on Brian Welch. Save the memebers of Motley Crue (whom Jeff Fenholt has addressed opening on TBN) -- Mick Mars, Vincent Neal, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee. Also, save Marilyn Mason. Let these all find You and know You as their Lord and Savior. Perhaps Brian will preach to them as Jeff Fenholt does. In Jesus Name, amen.
