Right at this moment the judges are hearing the arguments for and against gay marriage being leagal here in Washington State.
It is my understanding that they will be making a judgement today.
Please pray that this does NOT pass through the courts!
Please pray that the gay marriage rights FAIL.
Thank You!!!
Father, let the Light of Your Truth shine in the court room and open the eyes of the judges to the perversion of gay marriage, and a gay lifestyle.
Keep marriage pure in Washington.
Support the true Family Values based on Your laws of nature and morals.
Do not allow this perversion to stand.

Father, touch the hearts and minds of key people in this decision. Make their choices those of righteousness to preserve the sanctity of the marrige covenant Lord. Impart Your Spirit and truth in this case. May this case have a Godly conclusion, which crushes the devices of the gay & lesbian spirit in Washington and across the United States. Dear Heavenly Father, I stand in agreement over this prayer request. The children of these couples believe that they are fighting for something noble, that is what they are being taught. Oh Father I pray that this will not go through and there will be people in office that still stand on Your laws. I pray that the homosexuals will have their eyes open to the sin they are living and find the truth and peace in their lives. I ask these things in Jesus Holy Namea amen.

Im sorry. I respect all of you, but i just dont understand the argument against gay marriage. I am a christian and i believe homosexuality is a sin; however, America is a free nation. The first ammendment to the constitution says there can be no law respecting the establishment of a religion or the excercise there of. Basically, It seems completly against the constitution to restrict gays from doing something straight people can do legally because of our beliefs as christians. This is America.... Not Jesusland.
As we draw closer to the end times, sin and immorality will increase. The only thing we can do is hold close to Jesus and live our lives for him. This reactionary movement by the church, I think, gives us a bad image to the rest of this country. Jesus loves people and ate with tax colectors and sinners. He didnt go around trying to change laws.
not trying to make controversy, but i want a good discussion, so tell me what you think.

Lord- We pray that you would work within the Supreme Court to be sure this "gay marriage" proposal is not passed in Washington State. We pray you'll intervene to stop this madness. In Jesus Name- Amen!! Person- Maybe you don't realize the first couple God created to be mates for each other were a man and a woman. All thru out His Word, God speaks against men being attracted to men and women not being attracted to women as such. And declares man is not to get involved with- "unnatural acts"- lesbian, homosexual, beastiality and more. Understand? God Bless!!

Father we come against this proposal from the pit of hell that would like to ruin the institution of marriage the way You set it up in the bible.
I thank You Father that I live in America where I have freedom--freedom to choose to do what is right in Your eyes and the freedom to choose to go to hell if I want.

The bible calls the relationships between same sex couples as an abomination. We are to fight against these things dilligently and violently. For ever since the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of God has been forcefully advanced by forceful people!
What you believe will determine where you will go--either heaven or hell! There are no other choices. But what you do in this lifetime will determine what you will have and do in the next lifetime--either rewards in heaven or punishments in hell--for eternity!!
The rich man that did not feed Lazarus did not go to hell because of what he did to Lazarus--but rather what he did not do for him. If you do nothing for Christ, then your faith is dead and you run the risk of one day meeting Jesus and having Him say "depart from me--I never knew you!"

Father i ask that You would put a halt, complete stop to this discussion, that strife would break out among the enemy and their plans. Confuse the minds of those who promote this perversion and evil, make their words useless and empty, that they would appear as fools. Father i pray wisdom and discernment for the judges, that they would see the spirits at work behind the scenes. satan you and your demonic hosts will have no authority, no influences, i bind you. yeah, i still dont understand the argument against it. And you cant really say that it should be illigal because it says it is wrong in the bible. There are a lot of things that are wrong in the bible that we can do legaly.

Say, couple other notes to think about- 1- God instituted the first rightceous Laws for man way back in early Old Test. times and in descriptions of them, you will find references against such things. 2- The founding Fathers of America used biblically based Principles for establishing this "free" Governed Nation. thus, you can be sure, as with other examples over the centuries, how the people of this Nation have turned the original meanings of the Bill of Rights, Constitution and Declaration of Independance around in twisted meanings to get such ungodly laws passed and more. god Bless!

I dont think that it was the intent of our forefathers to base our government on the Bible. If they had intended that, the first ammendment to the constitution would not say that the government can make no law that respects the establishment of a religion or prevents the free exercise of religion. The government cant make a law base on any religion or prevent anyone from exercising their religious beliefs. It looks like it was pretty important to the founders of our government that religion and government stay seperate.
You said we shoudlnt follow any laws that cause us to sin. Well, we arnt the ones sinning. Just because someone else is living a life of sin doesnt mean marriage between a man and a woman under God is any less holy.
I just want people in this country to think and not just jump on the bandwagon and do what other Christians are doing. I dont want people to get instruction from God mixed up with battles of the flesh. Like i said before, Jesus never went around trying to make laws. He just loved everyone, and the love is what changes lives. Stop and ask yourself what Jesus would do? Maybe its just me, but i really cant see him fighting this battle.

Person- You can look at 1- The forefathers sited 27 Biblical violations against both the Vatican and England as reasons they came to this continent to start a nation of thier own. 2- You can read statements by George Washington, Daniel Webster plus many more of them stating our country cannot truely be free if not based on biblical Principles. Otherwise, whats the reason for putting- "In God we Trust" on our money if not truely biblicaly based? 3- Read the "Bill of Rights". States them clearly. God Bless!!

One last note person- Jesus declared He came to fulfill the Law, not destroy it. I don't see anywhere where He declared gay relationships are acceptable. Remember as well, Christ also declares our battle is not of the flesh but of spirit. That we are to set ourselves apart from the world-(way it thinks and operates). As for freedom of religion, that was to be able to believe in the one and only true God as He guides us, according to his Word, not according to what a Mother church declares all other Churches are to preach thru thier own literature sent out, claiming followers must believe this or do not belong. No, Jesus did not declare gay relationships acceptable, and i never said it either. However, he never tried to make it illagal according to man's law either.

Exactly my point. Trying to change the laws of this country to make them exactly as we believe seems fleshly to me. Jesus never protested the sin he saw everyday. He simply loved people and reached out to their needs. Our God is still a very personal God who can reach people on an idividual level. I really dont see how trying to ban gay marriage is reaching out to anyone. Seems to me like it is just another battle of the flesh. Couldnt we concentrate our efforts on reaching people?

that is one way of looking at it. However, I still think the founders of our constitution were smart enough to specifically phrase the first ammendment the way they did to gaurd against this type of thing. How do you think the mother church was created? If church and state dont stay seperate, what happens if we have a president with different views than you? What if the president could force you to worship differently than you wanted too? Our country was formed by people who wanted to escape this kind of thing.
