Just Wondering

I was just wondering. Why are there so many prayers that have a lot of views but not many or no replys. For example, a prayer might have 20 views and only 1 reply, or none. And the reply may not even be a prayer. It might be a suggestion. When I see this, it makes me feel like others don't think that the need is important.

Everytime you look at your own prayer request it is a view. Not everyone has the gift for words that they feel confident to write. Not everyone wants to pray outloud or lead others in prayer for example. It does not mean they are not praying or that God does not hear their prayers. You just have to trust that someone cared enough to look and read it. My shoulder and arm hurts me terribly, so I looked without typing which is hurting right now to do. I care very much.

It is a matter of trust, to trust that the good folk here are praying and love you and to trust God to hear them pray for you, typed words or not...

Remember our 'guests'.

I think many of them come and pray with us and never sign in or post.

If it is important to you it is important to Jesus...

He knows your heart.

Praying for you...

You have nailed the #1 most frustrating issue we face each day on this website. Both google and msn search absolutelly love our website, so we get hundreds of new visitors each day from the engines.

Figuring out how to make this website more appealing and easier to use for new people is a huge task and one that we work on each and every day. Trust me when I say it is in all of our hearts to have each and every visitor feel the anointing so strong that they "just have to" sign up and reply.

In internet terminology it's called 'candy & stickiness'
The candy is the visual appeal and usefullness of both information and layout that would create the desire within a person to stick around and join.
Stickiness is the ability to have such great content and direction that a person would wish to return over and over again.

I know for sure that if we simply turned off the registration and allowed every visitor to post anonymously that our traffic and number of posts would increase 100 fold. However, being a prayer board, that is NOT an option. People need accountability when dealing with such huge needs on this board.

I think what most of our members don't realize is that if everyone just posted 5 a day, and only 10% of our members visited each day that would be over 8,000 posts a day, and every single thread would have multiple people praying. That is exactly where we're praying to get to.

We are working hard on trying to find ways to help our visitors that do not register. If anyone has any ideas, please, feel free to pm me. I will consider and pray over each idea presented, as I'm sure the Lord has something even better for us around the corner.
