Something Good Is About To Happen

Genesis 50.20 "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive."
One day my son, Joel, wanted some sausage patties to cook for breakfast. I told him I'd run down to the local grocery store, Wall's IGA, and get that item plus a few more things. I picked up my hand basket and went back to the meat department. As I approached the meat, I saw a lady I had went to school with. I patted her on the back and said, "Hey, how are you doing?"
The next thing I knew, I was laying on my back about 15 feet away from where I had stood, my glasses were bent and blood was seeping from a small cut on the side of my face. The first thought that came to my mind was, "Lord, why did this happen to me?" The Lord spoke quietly, "They nailed me to the cross." I then knew that the Lord was in control.
I sat up, and there stood a demon possessed man who had been stalking this lady. He had beat on her, and she was trying to get away from him. I asked the store manager to call the police, because in my experience with these types of individuals, I didn't know what to expect next. Innocent people could be seriously hurt. The manger said, "The phone is up front, you can go use it."
I could barely see because of my bent glasses, and I told the man who had hit me not to go anywhere. He was just going to walk out like nothing happened. The verse of scripture, Psalm 105.15, "Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm" came to my mind. I said to myself, "Fellow, you done hit the wrong man."
The police came and took my statement, the lady's and the man's. I went to the Magistrate Court and filed a warrant against the man.
At the courtroom, justice was served, and I got the opportunity to witness to a room full of people. Later, I went to the store manager's church and attended the Sunday School class he taught. He was teaching about Joseph who was wronged by his brothers and sold into slavery. Joseph had seen God's hand in this and did not hold unforgiveness in his heart towards his brothers. I testified in his class what had happened to me in the grocery store and it was uplifting to him and his class.
A few weeks later, I saw the man who hit me in McDonald's. A Christian friend, Mike, and I witnessed to him and prayed for him. He had a history of assaulting men and women but nobody ever took him to court.
Something further good came out of this incident. My jaw had been out of place, and the man's hit knocked it back in place.
Romans 8.28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Dear Lord, please deliver the man who assulted these people. Let him be saved and set free in Jesus name.

Wow, what an awesome testimony! And your jaw was set back into place?!? lol WOW!
It wasn't funny at the time, but it is now - to know how God used this terrible attack from the enemy - to fix your jaw!
I hope you do not have to used like this very often!

WOW!!! This scirpture just grabbed me; this will be Terri Schiavo's testimony, too!!! When she walks out of that hosptial, totally restored, she is going to lead milliions to the Lord!!! When I read your title "Something good is about to happen!" then came in here and read that scripture, I thought immediately of what God has planned for Terri.
Whoohoo!!! Thank you for sharing this testimony. God truly does work in mysterious ways His wonders to perform!!! 
And, he used your words here as confirmation of what He has been telling me regarding Terri. Your words "Something good is about to happen," is a prophecy about Terri!!! The scripture is the supporting scripture -- the "Yes, I can back up this word with scripture!"

I was in a coma for the winter, lung surgery seven or eight times, three million dollars. And then.............after telling my family for three and a half months that I would die over night, they finally split the 8th time. Doctors and family agreed, I was ready to meet my Lord, and to not do surgery to sew up the split down the middle. YES, HE DID, PRAISE THE LORD, YESK, HE DID!! Sewed the rip up and now the call me Miraclechild. I lost 2/3 of my right lung, and 1/3 of my left. The right to life form was laid on a table when I entered the hospital. I was too sick to fill it out, and forgot to (Maybe, God's Plan For Me?) I just asked God to heal me or let me die, but please not leave me that sick.
I was hesitant about going on my anniversary trip, a week ago, to see Behold the Lamb, for I knew something was going to happen. I always see things about what is going to take place. But, I did not see anything, and had no idea what it was that wanted me not to go. I did go.
As Jesus stood in his white robe, turned around and said, "Who touched the hem of my garment?" I wanted to run as fast as people of old just to touch the Master's hem. I said to myself, "Lord, you say move that mountain, and it will move. I have faith of a mustard seed. Heal my lungs."
I told my husband that I would not be able to go back up the ramp we walked down, for I am suppose to be in a wheel chair, so far I refuse!! The lady that seated us, said we could use the side door.
The crowd moved so slow and I told my husband, to just let me try to walk the ramp, for I could stop and rest. I walked the ramp, was not out of breath. Later, I shopped and no pain. I walked to a rest room with no oxygen. I came home, and normally I cannot walk the two steps into our entrance hall. I did the steps and walked through two rooms. I went and had comparison xrays. The good part of my lungs that is left, is well and that part of my lungs is black as they should look for the first time in twelve years.
Blessed, for three times death has knocked, and one of those times I had the tunnel experience. I am humbled, for I know God's healing. So, what if I don't have all my lungs, for what I do have is better.
Happy Easter, as we celebrate!! Remember, God is in control, and we do not understand why sometimes he does not heal, that we can see. But, no prayer goes unanswered, and often it is our wounded soul that needs rebirth.
Lord, please, bless those who suffer. Thank you that with 13 diseases, I do not see me as ill. I am glad for out of what was a learning experience, you gave me a beautiful story to tell a hopeless and hurting world.

I do not understand what you say is for evil. I use the warrior for our sign as a warrior for God. None of us know for sure what God is going to do. May he bless you as you grow in Christianity. It is not my place to instruct my Lord, nor according to His will should I judge you or my fellow man.

What is clear here is that God is glorified and praised because there are things that come our way to destroy us, but His Spirit is with us to help us gain victory over the evil.
