Bush just told us what we need to do...

I just heard the President speaking in Waco, Texas...he was talking about immigration and different things. But he said something that got my attention. He said, "I will keep working on it and do what I can, but I don't know what congress is going to do. I can only do so much because I am not a member of the legislative branch."

We are always praying for the president, but I guess we keep forgetting that there are 3 branches of government. Executive, judicial, and legislative...we have to pray for ALL 3 of them. Pres. Bush knows we have his back, and I have noticed for the past several months he has made mention that HE can only do so much BECAUSE of other areas of the government. Maybe this is his subtle way of telling us to pray for them or something. Some people say he is trying to pass the buck, but he is telling the truth.

We need to pray for the legislative branch, for congress...and pray especially during election time that God put more christians in these positions.

AMEN?

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for our President and every branch and office in our government. I pray for Your influence in decisions that are made and that we can get some faithful Christians elected to office who believe in You and make their decisions prayerfully. I ask these things in Jesus Holy Name amen.

Lord God Almighty - Comforter, Refuge, Rock, Redeemer, Savior, Shepard, Provider, Protector, thank you for loving us. For granting us grace and mercy. Thank you for all the things you do we don't even know about and the ones we do know. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of President Bush. I come to you and ask that you continue to protect him and his family and those close to him. Please continue to guide him and remove anyone that would influence him in an ungodly way and replace them with godly people. I lift up the judical branch and the legistlative branch to you Father. Please remove those that are ungodly and replace them with Godly people. People of you Father. I ask this in Jesus name. Thank you Father for answering my prayer. In Jesus name I pray - amen.

Lord, he passes laws, signs laws, then the judges say "No." He was trying to help Terri, but the judges in Florida stopped all Federal and state laws that were passed from being enforced. I pray for better judges. They overrule so many things passed by the Federal and state governments. Like the marriage amendments states have passed. The judges disregard those and go ahead and marry gays. Lord, give up Godly judges, especially on the Supreme Court.

And, Lord, don't let President Bush be stymied when he tries to get Godly judges appointed. Stop these fillibusters. Lord, permit some of his nominations go through! Lord God, I pray that these three judges (that they say will be leaving in the next few years) are replaced with God fearing men, who will UPHOLD the consitution not interpret it, according to their liberal views.

Lord, whatever happened to the checks and balances? Who is checking and balancing the judges? They seem to rule. And, if they are not good judges, than much sin is okayed by them.

Thank You for turning this situation around!

Oh Yes, Lord, we come praising you for the words of truth you make live to your children. Father, we do pray for every branch of Government. Everyone from the lowest in the cities or counties to the President. Lord, send your Holy Spirit to teach them. Bless them all with your Grace and Favor. Lord, bless their families, and let them Love you. Let them see that the only "right" way is your way. Father, give them Divine Guidance in all they do, think, plan, reason, speak and every other way. Lord, it is in Jesus Name I ask...AMEN
