Lord God, I ask that you will immediately dispatch angels to stop the wave. Lord, I speak to the wave in the Name of Jesus, and I say. Peace, be still! I command that all satanic attacks designed to kill more people be unfulfilled. They are stopped in the Name of Jesus.

Move mightely Lord to deal with this disaster....
I come against Satans attempt to distract us from the need of Prayers for Terri Schiavo. Lord, we need a miracle in both instances this minute. Lord, perform your Word....We humbly ask! We decree, if your Word says it....then It will be!

Magnitude 8.2 earthquake off coast off Sumatra (EXCERPT)
LONDON, March 28 (Reuters) - An 8.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Sumatra on Monday.A U.S. Geological Survey spokeswoman told Reuters the quake struck 125 miles west northwest off Sibolga, Sumatra or 880 miles northwest of the Indonesian capital of Jakarta at 1609 GMT, close to where the 9.0 magnitude quake struck in December. USGS spokesman Don Blakeman told CNN that the earthquake could cause tsunamis, "Certainly evacuations should be occurring. I hope they are....If we do see tsunami activity it won't be as widespread" as December's quake.

I remember that a lot of people here claimed that the first quake was caused by God. If it really should be caused by God why do you pray against it? Doesn't make much sense.

I ask in Jesus' name that You calm the seas and that there be proof that You did. That it would confound all scientists who are expected the worst. That all souls would be safe, that the lands will continue to recover. All to Your Glory Amen

Dear Lord, the Bible says you stir up the whirlwind in Your great wrath. Indonesia is a nation that has imprisoned Christians and persecuted them. This could definitely be of Your cause and making. We ask for limited loss of life. We ask Your will ALONE to be done. The devil will try to say You are an evil God and get people to curse you and hate you. The people in that country, for the most part, are already against You. Lord, let them quake and tremble in humbleness and repentance. Let them know that their own actions have brought the wrath of God upon them. Wake people up, Lord! Open their eyes! Show them, plainly, that time is short and they must repent! These things have already been prophsied in scriputre, and Lord, we pray for the repentance of every possible person! Use this to SAVE people! Yes, You can step in and say, "Peace be still" and calm the wave. But You also bring these things for judgment. Lord, if You judged other evil nations, why not evil nations today? Let revival break forth in Indonesia, whatever else may happen! Yes, my #1 prayer is to see this averted, yet, I do not know if it is possible.... if Indonesia has filled up the cup of wrath against them, it could be their time. Father, have mercy on souls and save MANY, that is the best I can and feel led to pray! In Jesus Name, amen.

P.S. I believes is a warning to America: Quickly change your mind regarding Terri Schiavo, before I bring such wrath against you. I feel so strongly, that if we this death wish is not rejected in America, a rush of God's wrath will follow. They have already predicted a tsnuami that will reach New York (I pray THIS is not the one!!!)

It is not important to me whether God causes these disasters since He set into motion all of the laws of physics, or whether it is the devil bringing disaster. We are still to pray for our brothers and sisters, we are to pray for souls to be saved, we are to pray for deliverance from terrible disasters in the name of Jesus. Father I ask that Your will be done, that You would allow Christian missionaries to spread the gospel and let Your word penetrate this part of the world.

I pray that the people of this land would heed the voice of truth and turn away from their false religions. I pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to bring the message of the gospel to all parts of the land.

The island which was affected by the earthquake was mostly populated by christians!

Fredrick- remember that what God means by being in control of all things, He is keeping everything going and holding together. He is not causing the earthquakes. He does answer our prayers to stop negative things, but He's not causing them- God declares- satan is the author of darkness-evil, God is the Author of Light- goodness. Besides, God gave man dominion over the earth at the beginning. Man gave it over to satan, but God took it back for us with Christ's sacrifice. It is our doing for having slowly ruined the earth over milleniums, is why God's created nature and earth are rebelling now and getting worse. I pray lord, for your Will to be done with this disaster. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
