Jesus gave us the keys to Heaven to "bind up" the evil and "loose" the good.
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven; and whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth, shall be loosed in Heaven." Matt 16:19.
Remove the evil. Find a verse concerning what you want to remove.
You must bind the "strong man", which is the bad spirit (demon, power, principality) that has a hold of the person you are praying for. Search for a verse of scripture that you can pray. "But no'one can enter the strong mans house, unless he first binds the strong ma.." Mark 3:27 (I will give you scripture prayers for broken marriages to do this in later postings - adultery, friends who influence, demon spirits, etc.
Replace the evil with good.
This is very important! "When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when it comes, it finds it swept and put in order. Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse then the first." Luke 11:24-26.
A good example of this is, you pray the scripture over your spouse that binds the strongman
God grants ______ repentence leading him to a knowledge of truth that _____ will come to his senses and escape from the trap of the devil who has taken him captive to do his will. _______ shakes himself from the dust, arises and sits enthroned. _______ frees himself from the bands on his neck, he/she is a child of Zion. From 2 Tim 2:25-26 and I am not remembering the other scripture source right off hand..these are some God gave me when I was in the trial by fire to use and I wrote them but did not note scripture references, but they are all scripture!!!!!
Then you could replace with:
For you _____, were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. _______will live as a child of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. ______will have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5: 8-11
Always speak with authority also..just like the Lord told Ezekiel to take authority and prophesize to the dry bones in the valley. If you want to see how much power you have through God to take authority over things, then read Ezekiel 37:1-14. So when you speak scripture over your spouse and situation, do so with authority in Christ...note how instead of saying "God, may you grant____ repentence..." I said, "God grants ______repentence..." God wants you to speak the things you desire as though they alreadIf you fail to replace.
If you fail to replace what you have removed, it will become worse then before you prayed. You must always replace something evil with something good. This is one reason why so many who go on diets actually gain more weight. The stop eating the bad, but never replace it with something good such as exercise. This is kind of difficult for some..but the truth is, as the Bible states, we are warring against powers and principalites. When satan was cast out of Heaven, 1/3 of the angels went with him, and these angels became dark angels, more pointedly demons, and it is these demon spirits that onto or into humans and influence them away from God. This is what you are dealing with in your spouse, and if you think there are no such things as demons, you better get to reading Gods word...He explicitly states that you do not war against the flesh..or humans in other words, but the powers of the dark world. Jesus cast out many demons in His walk on earth, and He left us with the authority to cast them out, giving us the power to do so on pentecost when He gave us His Spirit. His word also tells us that if you remove one and it is not replaced with good, or God, it will go out a round up seven more even more evil and bring them back in. I know for a fact this is true..been there and done that. If you are under attack of the enemy...broken marriage is one of his greatest attacks, then you better get smart about what you are fighting against..you must know who and what your adversary is if you intend to defeat them. Your spouse has been taken into captivity by satan and his demon spirits to do his bidding...bottom line, and this is why they have went off into adultery, drugs, gambling, whatever it may be that they have went into and become that has destroyed your marriage. If you want to get them back, set them free, get your home restored...then you better get straight on what you are dealing with and know that your only hope is in God, working with God for the victory against satan and his minions as I call them.

The first thing you must pray, is that the person becomes WILLING to get free fo the demons. If they are not willing, they will keep on doing the devil's bidding. Their will must line up with God's. I can not cast a demon off of, out of, away from someone who wants it. So, pray, first of all that they are WANTING free of the demons.
When you are praying for demons to leave someone -- commanding them to go, you must pray that they are, then, filled with the fruits of he Holy Spirit. It is The Holy Spirit filling someone that will keep all demon spirits from coming back with seven worse. Always pray they are free of demons and FULL of The Holy Spirit.
