I have been with my boyfriend, Chris, for 6 years and we are talking about getting married and starting a family but he does not believe in God. I cannot join in a union with him if he doesn't believe in God. Please pray with me that he will turn his life around. His father is a preacher, I pray that he will turn to his father for guidance.

Lord, I pray for divine intervention for this young lady and her fiance. Lord, I ask you give her your spirit in all her decisions. Lord, I also ask that you hem in this young man by the power of your spirit. Soften his heart Lord, and open his ears to hear your voice. Jesus, heal his hurts and clarify his thoughts. Give these young people an unquenchable hunger and thirst for you and your ways, your life in them, and your word. I bind their feet to the paths of righteousness. Touch both of them Jesus. Don't be talking marriage to a non believer. This is out of line with God's will. The Bible plainly tells us not to be yoked with someone who doesn't believe. The entire purpose of marriage is to help each other grow in Christ. For a Christian, there is NO OTHER reason. Pray for his salvation, but because he needs saved, not because you are wanting to marry him. You must put his need for salvation above all else. I would get out of the relationship immdeiately. Do not talk marriage to him, then say on here that you can never marry him if he isn't saved. 
That is like leading him on. Or else you are fooling yourself, and you will marry him regardless of his saved state, in the end. You are playing with fire, and, even if it is very painful, I would get out before getting burned badly! -- which is MORE painful.
This is straight talk, but what other way can I say it or pray it?
I am 43, and I have never been in a serious relationship, so you can see that I practice what I am preaching here. I would rather live all my years single (and feel lonely at times) then end up in a relationship that goes agaisnt God's commands in scritpure. I am not being harsh in this; I have LIVED this. I am not saying it's easy; that would be a lie. I am saying it's worth the sacrifice. I have grown so CLOSE to Jesus, I can not even begin to explain, and I know it is my singleness and depending on Him that has caused this to be so. He is EVERYTHING to me, and I will not hurt Him by marrying or even consider marrying someone who does not love Him. In fact, I am looking for someone CRAZY about God, just as I am.

Right now sis you are unequally yoked. Take it from someone who has been there and done that despite knowing that it was against the will of God. I felt that if I just continue to pray for him that he will be ok. Now I am not saying that prayer doesn't work because it does. What makes you think that your grace is sufficient. Only the Father's is. Don't even consider marrying this man until he has found his way to God. The man is the head of the household. How can a nonchristian head a Christian home. It cannot work. God ordained the man to be the ruler. You are not meant to rule your home and if you are married to a nonchristian that is what will happen. God has so much more planned for you.
Father God I ask that you touch this young man. Send someone to witness to him and soften his heart to receive your word. Weaken him Father. Do what it takes to prepare him for what you have in store for him. Send him a mentor Father, one who will continuously guide him. If he is truly ready to be a husband show him how to be a husband and be the man that you have ordained him to be. Father bless my sister in Christ. Give her peace and joy that extends far beyond understanding. Give her the strength to continue to pray for the man that she loves and to do as your will as set forth. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN

Lord, send an angel to Chris with a messages of deliverance. Change his life, Lord, change his mind. Give him dreams and visions that teach him about You. Reveal Your love to him. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for Chirs' salvation! Get ahold of him in a mighty way! Show him Your truth and glory! Show him the way home. Lord, do not let him resist You, but put the irrisistable call of the Holy Spirit upon him. Let deep call to deep. Let his hungry spirit man respond to the need to be satisfied. Father God, lead Chris home to You, through Your Son, Jesus Christ and through the convicting power of Your Holy Spirit. Do a miracle! Change his heart and mind and life! In Jesus Name, amen.
