Looking For Love In all The Wrong Places

I'm not really sure how to word this. Well I found a job about 5 months ago. I really do like it. It can be very stressful at times. I work with developementally disabled people. My daughter just had her 1st birthday on march 29th. I'm still seeing my daughters daddy. He has been drug free for about 3 months. I think that the only reason I'm still with him is because my dad has told me that I would never be anything and so on. He left my mom this morning. I get so depressed and down and I have nobody to talk to. So I go and see my ex. I do regret doing it, but then I think of what my dad has done to me and said to me. I cry when nobody is around. I'm not the prettiest thing in the world, But I want to feel loved.

I am 6'5" and weigh 400lbs. I snore when I sleep and have a bad back, knees and neck. The point is that I am nowhere near a perfect ten in most ladies eyes. BUT, in Gods EYES I am exceedingly and abundantly above a TEN. I prayed for a family and was granted a wife with a loving daughter. I have been married for nine years this last march and have three wonderful daughters. The Lord will grant you the love you seek, if only you would look towards HIM to supply that love. Like most people these days I had a lot of abuse baggage from my childhood and early teens. I somehow ended up with the most beautiful lady on earth. I also landed a family with some major God connections. Jerry is my wife’s uncle. And my wife’s grandparents are two of the most Godly people I have ever had the privilege of meeting.
My point is that when we look to this world, be it dating, love, jobs, or anything, we limit what the Lord can do for us. God does not place the limits on us. We Do. We say that we can only be love by the abuser or the alcoholic and then we pray to the Lord asking why we ended up with a husband or wife that abuses us or is an alcoholic. We create with our mouths. Good and bad, we are the ones that create it. So just sit down and make a list of the 20 things that you want in a GODLY Husband. And then pray for them each and every night. You will see the Lord do a wonderful work for you and your family. My wife had a list of about fifty things including that she wanted a husband big enough to carry her in his arms. The Lord granted all fifty requests. I had a list of about ten things I wanted in a wife. And wouldn't you know it. The Lord delivered all ten of them to me. If He can do it for a young man bent on self-destruction and alcoholic fits, then He can do it for you as well.
Last, REMEBER in your darkest hour that there is always someone online here at the prayer board that will pray with you. I know. I have been in your shoes over some major decisions in my life. God Bless and keep your faith.

Lord I pray that you would send a light into this life and shine brighter that the morning star. Father I send a legion of angels to encamp this life and pray that the powers of hell would be struck down in this life. Father you said that we have not because we ask not. Father I ask that you would move in a mighty and powerful way in this life, and in this time. In Jesus name and by His Blood. Amen

Dear God,
Please heal this lady of all pain she is feeling for this man she was seeing. Let her seek & know Your love more than ever before. Guard her heart against anyone who hurts her Lord. Please guide her to know exactly who You want for her, and know she deserves. And help her to know exactly what to ask You for in the man she is supposed to spend life with. Bless her baby in all of this confusion. Take confusion and strife out of their lives, and give them peace. Please show her how she can become closer to You so she will realize all the blessings in her life, and stop viewing the bad circumstances as much. Everything teaches us. Please teach her during all of this. Strengthen her spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. And let nothing bring her down, away from the comfort and guidance of You. Thank You for blessing, and healing this lady. Thank You for her baby. Please help her to raise this great blessing to be a great Christian servant of You all the days of his life. In the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

amandamoo21, Jesus loves you so so much and you are His perfect creation and let no one tell you any different. In God's eyes you are beautiful and wonderfully created. Look at your daughter and you will see that only beautiful bears beautiful my sister. You do not need a man in your life just so you feel loved. As christoombs has said, which is so true and very encouraging, please pray for God's perfect gift of a loving husband in His time. I too made a list of the qualities i expected and prayed about it and God blessed me with the best husband. It took a while and during that time, i must admit that i sort of delayed my blessing because whenever i would meet a christian man who had just some of the qualities, then i would convience myself that this was the man God was blessing me with and that the rest of the qualities i had prayed for would come with time. Gosh was i so wrong or what?! I ended up hurt and so discouraged and then one day, i decided to just focus on serving God and i had to learn to wait on Him. There is never anything too difficult for our God. He blessed me with the very best in His own time and the man he gave me had all the qualities i had prayed for. Sometimes i look at him (my husband) and i just find myself smiling when i see how blessed i am. Its a wonderful feeling to have a man/ woman of God in your life. Someone you can pray with and share with and actually just connect with. I am praying for you my sister, that God will give you His right choice in His time. Keep praying and waiting on Him. Hey there! Jesus loves you and wants you to have abundant life. I know that it hurts that your father left you. It must be traumatizing you. I know that you are going through a lot. However, going to your ex is not going to fill the void of your father's departure. As hard as this sounds, you need to run to Jesus. I know you can't see him, but you have to believe he is with you hurting with you. Going back to your ex will only cause yopu more problems. If he wants to help out with the baby, that's another thing. That should be your only reason for getting involved with him in any way. Hang in there. {{{HUGS}}}
