The Lord Is Faithful!!!!!!!!

I would like to take a moment to praise our Lord publicly. For over one and a half years, since November, 2003, I have been faithfully serving at my local church. I have been denied being a prayer partner for various reasons, or rather excuses. The latest one was that I maintained a different doctrine. (I believe that a person can choose to lose their salvation if they prefer to live for themselves in sin rather than live for our Lord, Jesus Christ.)
Today that was overcome and now I have officially become a prayer partner in the local church. I did not change my doctrine to accomodate the pastors, either.
I fear God therefore I will serve God!
Also, my new wife and I began looking for a house a few weeks ago. I have some credit problems due to a bankruptcy and a foreclosure from a couple years ago after being unemployed for over 6 months, but God is so good. A young couple from the church is moving and gave us their house to take over the payments on! Isn't God good????
I haven't been on the prayer board much, in fact I had to step down as moderator due to the new demands on my life. I am in the middle of a course of studies that should be completed by the end of the week, and then I will become an ordained minister of the gospel!!!!
I am going in for a second interview this week on a new job. I believe I already have it and I will receive about 220% of my current pay.
God is sooooooo good! But He is faithful and honors all His promises of seedtime and harvest!
Praise God, and thank all of you for your prayers and support over the last couple of years. May God bless all of you now in this life, and reward you richly in the life to come!
Your friend, brother, and soon to be pastor,
Bruce Piatt

Jesus
Bless this man as you draw him to you
Teach him who he is in Christ
Lord reveal your scripture to him
Let his understandings and beliefs only be based on your word.
Let him be always willing to learn and grow
Bless him with wisdom
Bless him with a strong memory for your Word and scripture.
Bless him at home and church
Amen

I just wanted to stop by and visit for a few moments. I thank all of you for your prayers and support. I will need them now more than ever. We are getting settled in to our new home. We were blessed with an unexpecte windfall of several thousand dollars that helped us to move. I went through knee surgery June 15 to repair some torn cartillage. We plan to start our home-based fellowship on September 1, 2005. I was ordained as a minister in May.
Dear Lord, I thank You for this ministry. I thank You for a place where I was able to come and grow in Your word, your ministry and in your love by coming together with fellow believers around the world. I know I made a lot of mistakes along the way. I erred in judgement and I allowed my flesh to get in the way too many times. I prepent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness.
Father I ask that You bless and provide for all the prayer partners here. I pray that whatever needs are on their hearts that You would meet them today, in Jesus name. I pray for health and happiness in the name of Jesus. I pray for jobs and blessed finances now in the name of Jesus. I pray for peace of mind and long life now in the name of Jesus. I pray for all spiritual gifts to be activated within each and every one of these partners now in the name of Jesus. I pray for forgiveness of sins, and repentant hearts now in the name of Jesus. I pray that signs and wonders would follow those that seek Your face, in Jesus name I pray. God bless you and keep all of you in His perfect will, today and each day of the rest of your lives. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
