Phoenix Trip Status

My beloved Pete is currently at the airport, awaiting his flight. His plane departs at 10:20 this morning. I will be at the airport 48 hours from now myself. We both leave on the same flight but on different days. Pete will be landing in Phoenix at 12:21 P.M. Mountain Time (3:21 P.M. my time) and so will I in two days, when I go out there to join him. Good thing I have a busy day scheduled starting with a meeting at 9:00 with an EEO counselor to fight for my promotion as well as a luncheon at a fancy restaurant at noon with my collegues. Pete will be in flight during this lunch. I have a meeting with my team around the time Pete will be landing in Phoenix. I know I sound crazy. I'm just being funny! It's so hard to wait until Thursday! I'm going absolutely nuts! I am thinking about Pete so badly this morning as he is about to embark on his flight. I love Peter so much! He's such a wonderful man of God! My love for God has grown even more since I have been courting with him. This trip will be so romantic! Ahhhhhh, I can see it now! God Bless You All!

Pete just called me from his cell phone. (The one I gave him for Christmas ) He has already arrived in Phoenix and was at his mom's place when he called me on my cell phone. His flight, the 10:20 was cancelled due to mechanical problems. They put him on an earlier flight and he got to fly first class! He said he felt like a king and got a free beer! I am happy for him. He is after all 47 (18 years older than me ), and he deserves a break! God blessed him big time! I am trying not to envy him. I think its so cool how his portion of the trip is going so far. Though I probably won't be as lucky as to get an upgrade to first class, I am sure God has tons of awesome surprises in store for me during my portion of this trip! God Bless You All! I will keep you posted. I hope to be able to access the internet while I am there. I will be coming to work tomorrow and after that, I'm gone!

I sit here and think about my prince charming. It is now 4:30 where he is and he's sleeping like a baby. 24 hours from now, I will be riding the airport shuttle to the airport. I had trouble sleeping last night. I was unable to get to sleep until 1:45 in the morning. It's so hard to wait! I haven't spoken to Pete since he called me yesterday. I know he was having a good time. He's just like me, into fun. His cell phone was turned off last night. I have his mother's phone number, but I did not dare call it last night out of deep respect for him and his dear mother. I have that number in case I need to reach him after I arrive at the airport in Phoenix.

I know, I am being silly, but I miss him!

Boy, I sure can't wait to see him tomorrow! I am going to run into his arms and give him a long deep kiss when we greet each other!

Goodbye everyone! I'm leaving now to take care of things before my big day tomorrow. I still have not heard from Pete. I'm sure he will call me tonight. I am taking Coal to the kennel tonight to board him among other things. I hope to be able to get on the internet either from an internet cafe at the Retriement Community where Pete's mother lives or from a computer owned by one of Pete's friends. God Bless You All! Hello everyone! I just got back from Phoenix on Sunday night. My plane took of around 3:00 P.M. Mountain time (6:00 P.M. eastern) and landed about 10:30 eastern time. Pete is still in Phoenix. He will not be coming back until tomorrow. This trip was very peaceful and it restored me and rejouvenated me and refreshed me. I feel stronger and have more serenity now. This awesome refreshing retreat helped me to get to know more about God's love and grace. My relationship with Pete has grown so much thanks to this trip alone. You might recall that I was having a hard time having feelings for Pete a couple of months back. My heart had been calloused from years of emotional abuse. I had been unable to cry for so long. This trip broke through to my heart and I was finally able to cry on Pete's shoulder on Saturday night. I then woke up needing to cry at 3:00 in the morning and I woke Pete up and sobbed on him quite a bit. I shed tears on him while he was driving me to church on Sunday morning, since I knew I was leaving. I then cried as the plane took off.

I miss Pete terribly. I am supposed to be seeing him on Friday. In the meantime I can turn to Jesus for companionship and comfort. Pete is just a portion of God's whole love for me abeit a sizable one. No one loves me as truely and fully as God. God is still my No. 1 source of love and affection.

I hope Pete is enjoying his last day in Phoenix with his mother. Pete is supposed to be leaving on a flight at 9:00 Mountain time (12 noon my time) tomorrow. He is to land around 4:PM eastern time. God Bless You All!

Pete is coming home today! I have missed him so badly! He is probably most likely en route to the airport right now. His flight leaves around 9:00 A.M. mountain time (Noon here) He would have to be at the airport around 7 A.M. He will be landing here at 4 something this time zone. He shold be back in his home by 6 P.M. this evening. I did not speak to him last night. I did not dare call him, for I wanted to leave him alone and at peace to cherish his last moments with his mother before leaving. I will let you know when he get's home. God Bless You All!

I was thinking that I might want to offer to pick him up at the airport to help him save money on airport transportation, however, since his flight arrives at 4:00, and in this case is predicted to land at 4:03 P.M., it would be too early for me to pick him up. I don't get off work until 5:30 P.M. today. Who knows, we might cross paths on the highway when I am coming home from work and he is going home from the airport.
