The main part of this dream: A couple are divorcing (with children) and they seem friendly. They're selling their home (it had a large area of very dark hardwood floors that were not just a mess, but were marred up, which made me think I never want to have hardwood floors in a home, too hard to take care of). After the home showed she put up two beautiful huge christian hangings back in their prominent places as though she were putting away dishes after washing them, no big deal. Even though I did not see her put them up, I sensed she was the one who did because we were the only two in the room at the time. I remarked on how much I really liked them (and I thought I wouldn't have put them away and wondered why they did, but logically "sensed" it was to keep the house neutral for potential buyers). They gave no indication of being christian or even religious, which surprised me about the hangings. And we had no discussion on the matter even after the hangings were put back up. They had some coins on the counter that I was flipping through. They looked like the U.S. quarters I collect from the different states, but the ones they had looked newly minted and were ones I hadn't seen yet (I can't remember what the engravings looked like, yet they were clear in my dream). I asked if I could trade them for regular quarters... :-) to add them to my collection. She said NO, that she had had a rare (only one like it in the world) "quarter-like" coin that she spent like normal, totally unaware, at a (donut shop?). Immediately afterwards she found out how rare the coin was and that it was supremely valuable. She asked the owner, an old man, for the coin back in exchange for a normal quarter. He wouldn't give it back. (She knew she had revealed to him what he had when she desperately asked for it back.) He completely disappeared, had left his shop, went over overseas to try and sell it, but wasn't heard from again. She said she thought he had been killed because it was so rare and valuable that he couldn't hide it from the wrong people and try to sell it too. Another, separate part to this dream was I sensed her husband and I were liking each other, nothing overt, but it was there and seemed ok with wife because, I sensed, she had another interest too, he might have even been there too. |

This rare coin is the same as the parable about the pearl of great price. Mathew 13:45-46 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. The two paintings is her relationship between her and her husband. The hardwood floors are a symbol of their walk being hard, complicated by the forces of darkness. You will have an opportunity to show where the enemy side-tracked them, and possibly bring them back to a point of restoration. the Lord does not give us these types if dreams to just fancy our curiosity! We are to pray for the individuals, and when opportunity allows try to help...It sounds like the husband may be a little more established in his faith, and will be able to relate with you much more comfortably. When you mention just being able to remember a sense of the dream - it depends. We cannot base our dreams upon feelings we had during/after. Try to write your dreams down when you very first wake-up! I hope this helps sorting this dream out a little. Have a very blessed day in the Lord! Semper Fi! -Bill |
