Iranian Christian Awaiting Proselytising Trial - Asks "Please pray for me"

Tehran (AsiaNews/Compass) – Hamid Pourmand, a Protestant clergyman who was born a Muslim, was moved from Tehran’s Evin Prison in an armoured car two days ago, May 16, to his home town of Bandar-i Bushehr (southern Iran), where an Islamic court will hear charges of proselytising and apostasy against him. He could get the death penalty and be hanged.
Some of Pourmand’s relatives were allowed to briefly see him before his departure, but the prisoner was not permitted to speak with them. Witnesses say however that, gazing at them silently, he mouthed the words, “Please, pray for me.”

Lord, Father, please move in this trial and remove all false witnesses and Lord, I sk in your name that you wil giv ethis man humility and courage and that you through your HOly spirit will speak before all people what you have to say through him. Lord, I ask for your blessings to be poured upon him to save him and to soothe him and give him your freedom. Lord, you are in control and I ask for your Glory to shine forth through this man and thei trial. God, You are the only living God, You are the great and almighty God, please, comfot and be a true and felt presence to this man andhis family, and I ask Lord, Jesus for you to please put a ring of fire around him and his family and protect them and hold fast to them to proclaim your truth and love. Lord, I ask for the hearts of these judges to be opened and drawn to you and that they are convicted and drawn towards your truth. Lord, Jesus I ask for you to give this man and his family strenghth and assurance from you to to keep strong and that you will protect their faith and belief in you. Thank you father for the pwer of your faith and for this servant. Lord, I bless YOU.

Praises - Under international pressure, Hamid Pourmand has been acquitted of the charges! The judge stated - "I don't know who you are, but the rest-of-the-world does."
