Time for the tide to turn

Lord,
I pray for the amazing things I see going on in my college.

I pray for my friend who in the last couple of days has repented and come to Your grace. Keep her strong and close to you.

I pray for another friend who was betrayed emotionally and financially by someone she loved, but who yesterday was given ample demonstration of how much her friends love and value her - may this be the start of a new chapter in her life. Lord you know that she hears the truth in what she has learnt of you, help her overcome the areas of sin in her life that are currently making her hold back.

I pray for my boyfriend - he expressed an interest in reading a book I'd just brought from Church. He's currently reading it (I never thought I'd see the day he voluntarily read a Christian book!). Please Lord may it speak to him!

I pray for the other people in college who have noticed the changes that have been going on, and for the heated debates that have been held on Christian issues as a result - give the Christians wisdom, patience and opportunity to show God's love and purpose during these discussions.

Lord, you know I've been feeling as though I've been drowning spiritually in this place - let it be time for the tide to turn and for Your presence to flood this place, bringing all home to you.

Lord let You will be done on this college campus for the good of the young men and women who attend there. Jesus mess J up in the Holy Spirit. Show each of her friends Your Goodness and bring them to repentance and salvation in Your time. Thank You Lord. AMEN!
