Is there a ranking in the trinity?

Why does Jesus not know the day when he'll return but only the Father?
Once I heard a teaching about this and the speaker said that The Father is like a patriarch and since it is his creation Jesus does not know the exact date. Does this mean that there is a ranking in the trinity?
Cause I also heard that marriage is like an anology. Just like the man is the head of the wife The Father is the head of the trinity, is this correct?

i dont know nothing about this dude teaching or what ever but i belive there is i wouldnt call it ranking. i look at this way if u have children u have a spiecal something for them u would not let them know befor the appoint time would u and Jesus does break it down for us Father God is ahead of Christ and Christ is the head of the church and man is head of the family Father place before that man.then for the Body of Christ he break it down like this some teaching pastor ect and ect servant

The man who said that is very reliable and he doesn't teach wrong things.
So I will rather give him the benefit of a doubt. I mean Jesus also had to obey God when he was on earth, he had to obey God's will.

I don't know if this will answer your question or confuse you more, but while Jesus was on earth He was fully man, all His power was from the Holy Spirit, because He set aside His divinity to come in human flesh.

He was our example to follow. Be filled with the Spirit and listen to Father God and obey him.

They are all God, but each is a separate being with a separate purpose and function.

If you don't choke on this meat, I'll discuss it further. Your response will tell me if you're ready for more meat and need to continue on milk.

But Jesus was also God when he was on earth. He redeemed us as God cause as human he could not have made it.

Jesus was able to save us because he was SINLESS...

and being in human form....

He had the legal right on earth to be here.

Yes Jesus was fully God
Yes Jesus was fully man

That is why he had to pray
He could not do anything by Himself
He could only do what the Father showed him
JOH 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto
you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the
Father do:
for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the
Son likewise.

He could only do what the Father told him
JOH 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my
judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of
the Father which hath sent me.

Yes. Fully man and fully God, not just fully man. Cause as a normal man he could not have done it. Which man could have gone through this without sinning or giving up?

I always think of the story of the Prince and the Pauper.

The Prince, while the Pauper, was still the Prince, he just set down his princely things while he lived as a Pauper.

Jesus got all his power from the Holy Spirit while on earth. Otherwise, we would not be able to do what Jesus did and more.
