Talking AGAIN tonight!

Thank you all so much for your prayers! They do make a huge difference.
Last night was not the miracle I had hoped for - but at least it was a miraculous start for which I am grateful.
"Thank you Father and Praise You!!!"
She asked that we speak again tonight and I confess I can hardly wait. But I hurt so badly from the separation that it becomes difficult to open up to her. And I know she holds back from me. If only we could open up like we used to. It's hard to hang on sometimes but I know He has promised and so shall it be. I just have to hang on and listen. Please continue to pray for us. I can't express how much it means or how badly it is wanted. Thanks again and please continue to lift us up as you feel led.
PS: I don't seem to be much of "small talk" person so conversations can slow down quickly. Please ask the Lord to speak through me, to speak to her heart while we talk and to also bring forth His joy and happiness in our conversations. Plus whatever else you feel He would desire in them

My prayer is that God's will be done in this relationship. If you can't open up and communicate your inner-most heart, the part that few know about, then you won't have the intimacy all women desire to have with their partners. True intimacy is opening yourself up to each other (which requires trusting each other), this is the way you know if you are equally yolked for marriage and raising children in a balanced, Christian home. You are the man so you will be the head of the household. As you were trained to do battle for your country, you need to use your Christian training to be a warrior in spiritual battles, which includes your relationship. Put on the full armor of God, so you may be victorious in these battles against the enemy and your flesh.

Father, I pray that You will reveal to this man what true intimacy is and how to put his will and desires in Your hands, allowing You to lead and guide them in their communications. Give them the desire to trust You in all matters, including whether they should continue their relationship as a couple looking towards marriage. I pray that they behave maturely, with dignity, giving You the honor and praise as You direct them and they follow You. Give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding in Your ways and with each other. Protect this man while he is in the military and bring him and his fellow warriors home safely. Your will be done in all these things and those only You know of.

Lord, thank You for movement in "InBaghdad's" relationship. Thank You! Praise You! Thank You for protecting him. Lord, move on this relationship, by now, tonight's conversation has happened. Lord, give "InBaghdad" favor in his sweethearts eyes and give her thoughts that help her soften toward him. Heal and restore this relationship. In Jesus Name. Amen.
