The REALITY of Dreams

I wanted to share this. I listened to most of Jerry's Meeting in Aberdeen last night and it was powerful. I could feel the power of God sitting at my computer while listening.

Anyhow, last night I had several dreams of being at a Jerry Meeting. The one thing I wanted to share was that at one point I woke up and I was shaking under the power of God for real!!! I DREAMED it, and it was REALLY HAPPENING to me PHYSICALLY while I was dreaming it! Is that WILD???

Which suggests endless possibilities! The mind is POWERFUL and THOUGHTS are also very powerful and can and do influence the physical realm, ie., our bodies. I have read and heard that visualization or thinking of something intensely is the SAME to the BODY as if it REALLY HAPPENED!!!

Of course, this can have good or bad indications depending on what you're dreaming or thinking about! No wonder God wants us to RENEW OUR MIND with His Word! It is POWERFUL beyond what we can even imagine!

Hello there! What an awesome experience!

Everything you said is true - to a point. Your soul can influence your dreams, but what you had was a Holy Spirit experience. Our dreams, can be influenced by probably four sources: God, soul, enemy, body -(chemically.)

Most dreams, for most people, are usually Holy Spirit driven/influenced.

When God is the director of your dreams, I have heard of many supernatural things happening during dream time. I have heard of healings, impartations, teachings, prophecies, wisdom, inventions, word of knowledge, etc.

Dreams are powerful! Don't give your mind too much credit...

BTW I heard the meetings in Aberdeen are going great! I can hardly wait to see for myself!

Are you going to go to any of the Aberdeen meetings? I wish I could.

As to the mind verses dreams, that is an interesting concept as to which influences which. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Does the Bible talk more about our dreams or about our mind/thoughts? God puts dreams IN our minds like seed in soil, so wouldn't that make the mind of more importance? Does the seed influence the soil or the other way around?
God takes our thoughts and experiences and creates dreams from them doesn't He? He also gives us new thoughts, new wisdom, new understanding and revelation from above as well through dreams, right?

I'm sure much of this we'll never fully understand on this side of eternity, but it's such a fasinating subject to me!

I saw John Paul Jackson again on the Joni Show on Daystar yesterday! I am on Tape 5 of his 6-tape series on Dreams and Visions. I started over and am taking notes while I listen. Too much good stuff I don't want to forget!
