Internet Dating

Please don't take me wrong, maybe I am too old-fashioned, but a friend of ours phoned last night, and told me she is Internet Dating. Working as a travel/teaching nurse, she told me that she has been meeting men in every town she goes to, from the Internet. She chats them up and "by the time I'm in the next town I have a ready lover, date, and escort." She has also been flying from place to place and meeting various fellows. FREQUENTLY. This weekend, unbeknownest to anyone but me, she is flying 7 hours to meet a perfect stranger. This is the 18th man since January. Most of the time, she is forming soul-ties with these men, she confessed this and told me exactly what I am missing. I told her, I'd just maintain the course, thanks anyway. Once a God-fearing, church loving woman, her behavior stuns me. Pray that she return to our Savior and understand that His Word extends to her too and that she is responsible for her fleshly behavior (she seems to think the man is). Pray that she be protected and turn from this way that seems like so much fun to her.

I don't think you're old-fashioned at all. She has lost her way and we need to intercede on her behalf that God will take pity on her and do what is necessary for her to come back to her right mind.

Lord, bring this woman to her right mind and let her see that this isn't going to satisfy her heart's desire. Bring her back to You Lord, in whatever manner You have to. Don't let her be lost in this sin, but deliver her from the evil one. I am in agreement with Nessa for her deliverance.

Please protect and watch over Nessa's friend. Please lead her back to You. I ask that Your Will be done. Please help her to know Your Word and that the ways of the world will never be a substitute for Your perfect love for us. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' Name I Pray. Amen.

Show her the darkness, death and destruction of her soul and of her life without you. I ask that you open her eyes to the reality of her actions. God call her name so loudly that she can't help but hear. Give her ears to hear...
Convict her of sin
Bring her home...

This is not just not being old fashioned, this is RISKY! She could end up with AIDS, STDS or dead.

Dear Lord, please show this woman the error of her ways! Draw her into a close, intimate relationship with You, so she doesn't keep trying to fill the wholes in her soul with sex. Let her be FULL of You, so she needs and wants NOTHING ELSE! Bring her back to You! Save her to the uttermost!
