Wanting to praise, but finding it difficult these days...

Hey everyone,

I am posting again. Not much praise still with my situation. Seems like it is heading farther and father downhill and I am pretty discouraged. Things were going so well until Christmas, when I posted last. Glenda left again the night before Christmas Eve for another man, in many ways like the one that she was with last year, but this new one isn't married. I cannot compete with what she thinks is fun and exciting now and am not sure what I did to allow God to take her away again.

I pray for her everyday that God will give her peace. She just lost her stepfather, who raised her, and asked me not to stay at the funeral home because the OM was going to be with her. She has also found out that she may have some heart problems. I think that she feels as if she has nothing to loose by "letting it all hang out," so to speak.

I don't know what to do. She was so mean to me on the phone last night that I really just want to give up. I know that I can't but I dont know what else to do. I have written words of encouragment so may times to everyone on her, but I cannot find the words to encourage myself.

God, give me peace, and the love of my life back...

Show this man how to have a fruitful life right now.
God you don't want him to sit and pine after someone who has rejected your will in her life.
You have a plan and a purpose for him right now.
God show him how to pray for Glenda, yet how to live a productive life
because right now he is just existing.
Lord I ask that you give him some joy and peace
Teach him to prosper in his spirit
Heal him and give him clear guidance.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for another opportunity to trust Your Word. I do thank you, Father, that, Your Word declares in Psalm 118 and verse 24, that, "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it," So this reveals to us that JOY IS A DECISION, and I thank you my Father, that, JL will DECIDE TO HAVE JOY EACH DAY FROM NOW ON, in Jesus' name. And Father, Your Word goes on to say, that, DAVID ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD. This means that David TALKED TO HIMSELF, and, TOLD HIMSELF GOOD THINGS IN TIMES OF TROUBLE AND SADNESS, So Father, I thank you that I believe by faith, that, JL, WILL ENCOURAGE HIMSELF IN THE LORD, and, TELL HIMSELF GOOD THINGS, in Jesus' Name. Amen and Thank You Lord!

It has been a difficult day, but with God's help, I made it through. I sent Glenda a final e-mail this morning and have given it to God. She was just online and I wanted so badly to show her that I was there, but I did not. She read my e-mail and then changed her profile, claiming how glad she is that the OM came into her life. I know it was an attempt to get to me, but it still hurt a lot. God has given me a good bit of peace today and I thank him for that. Please pray with me to continue to allow me peace and the strength not to contact Glenda. Just give it to God. Also pray for the hedge between her and the OM (buzz) will continue to become taller and wider. Thank you, dear Father...and thank you, my friends...

Lord, Jesus, in your HOly name, I ask you to convict this om in this wife's life right now and let him see that she is no catch but to you right now and bring the spirit of the fear of the Lord upon him and let him run for his life. Lord, I ask for you to raise up a christian sister who can councel this woman and I ask for glenda to be hemmed in by hedges made by you that she cannot overtake and capture her lover and the life she is leading tastes like dust. Lord, I ask for your conviction to be upon this woman and that you would remove the scales from her eyes and let her see and know the destruction she is being a part of. Lord, have mercy, tender mercy and consolation upon this man and please draw him close to You and please comfort him and counsel him with Your eye upon him. Please Lord, keep him from the schemes, wiles and traps and deceptions of the evil one. Please deliver him from the traps and snares, the evil and temptation of the evil one. Lord, please bind up his broken heart and move people, events by the HOly Spirit to be in his life, providing for him in every way that you know he needs. Lord, lead him Lord and let him know and obey Your Will. Father God, Please send your tender mercies to this man and send him a Christian brother who will help him. Thank You Father God. Thank YOU Jesus and the HOly SPirit. Thank you God.

Father God I praise You right now because I know that You are working behind the scenes right now on his behalf. It may not seem like You are working but Your word tells us that You are. Father I ask that You soften this wife's heart. Lead her to Your salvation. Show her teach her how to be a good wife. Show this husband how to praise Your holy name through his circumstance. Show him how to live for right now and to allow You to take care of tomorrow. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN
