Note also

There will also be from what I read on CPC of Omaha's website that there Nicaragua Mission Team leaves for Nicaragua on Saturday, June 25 so pray for that team also.

I saw this on Covenant's website and ask for people to pray regarding this mission trip and pray that it and the one mentioned above are a success

Belize Mission Team Daily Prayer Guide

June 15
The team departs for Belize this morning. We will fly through Houston to Belize City where Pastor Arturo and Esther Mendez will meet us with the church bus for the 80 mile drive north to Corozal. Corozal is about seven miles south of the Mexico border.

Pray for safe travel, no unnecessary duty charges entering the country, ease of transition, team building, and a good entrance into a new culture for some.

June 16
The medical team will travel by bus to a village that does not receive medical attention on a regular basis. Pray that the medical staff will understand what the needs are and how best to treat them. Pray also that Jesus healing ministry be experienced by the power of the Holy Spirit in our midst.

The construction team will most likely begin work today finishing off a new septic tank at the church to enable them to have indoor plumbing. Pray they will be safe and the construction go well, even though the methods are so different.
Pastor Jeremy will be leading the people in a Bible study about God’s plan for redemption before creation. Pray that barriers between understanding will be taken away and that the Holy Spirit will encourage and transform people as they understand God’s eternal purposes for them.

June 17
The medical team will go to another village today. Continue to pray for them as they travel back into “the jungles” to care for the beautiful people of Belize.
The construction team likewise continues to work on bringing plumbing indoors for Peniel Presbyterian Church.

June 18
The medical team will set up a clinic in the main city of Corozal today. Pray that they have all the medications, vitamins, toothbrushes that they will need. Pray also that the Gospel message of Jesus Christ will have opportunity to minister to people as they wait for medical attention.

Construction continues! We will also honor the Pastor and his family and some of those who assist us during our time by having a dinner out. Most people eat out very rarely in Belize – so this will be a very special event.

June 19
Today is Father’s Day in Belize as well. Pray that as we worship together in the morning and evening services, we will lift up God our Father in Heaven as well as honor the fathers present. Pray also for families that are apart today.

Pastor Jeremy will be preaching today at both services. Pray that he and Esther, the Pastor’s wife and translator, will have an ease of communication. Pray also that the hope of Jesus Christ will come upon the people as we worship and study together. Pray that those who have held off on making commitments to Jesus Christ will this day give themselves gladly and fully to Him for salvation and leadership.

The medical team will have a clinic at the church in the afternoon.

June 20 - June 21
The team travels to San Pedro today to process our trip and relax after giving their “all” the past four days. Pray for God’s guidance of a good reflection these days.

June 22
The team returns to Omaha. Pray for safe travel, a changed heart and mind, and many memories to come home, too.
