My prayer is that God can unleash His secret plan as mentioned in Revelations. My prayer is that rivers of blood will need not flow because the Christ that is in each Christian will raise their consciousness enough to know that Jesus Christ is God and He is truth and love. Love cannot be hate and war is hatred. The war is evil.

It is not God's will that anyone perish.

God is love and wants us to love one another.

He commanded us not to kill. We need not listen to misguided folks who support the abomination in the desert and want us to applaud the killing fields. This is not God's way.

God's way is truth. God's way is love.

Pray that Armagedeon need not occur.

If you are speaking of the war on terror, if you are speaking of the war in Iraq & the war that was in Afghanistan, then it seems you may not be thinking in terms of just cause and ultimate sacrifice that is made to free people of tyrany of insane rulers. War is not hatred. War is battle. Evil must be fought and that a man lay down his life for others, there is no greater love.

I was in New Age for 18 years. Your assertion that, "the Christ that is in each Christian will raise their consciousness" sounds very much like Unity teachings. But perhaps this is not what you mean.

Millions of Americans want peace. But we also want to protect our nation and help the Afghans & Iraqis. Islam is violent and the Quaran demands that its followers kill Christians and Jews for their reward by Allah. Allah is not the same god as our Trinity. Mohammed died for no one. And he did not forgive us of our sins. He did not rise from the dead. He did not save one person from hell.

We also want the peace of Jerusalem. But it is scripture that there will not be peace, and all nations, even our own, will eventually turn away from Israel.

I must remember that God's ways are higher than man's ways. I must remember that His Word will all come to pass. I know that it is hard to understand. But understanding it all is not only not possible, it is not my job to figure it all out in my own mind, in my own strength.

I do pray for freedom to continue ringing throughout our land. I do pray for our fighting men & women to come home when it is time. But to pull out before our work is through would be far worse now. We see what damage was done by letting the terrorists alone for all those years.

Let us remember to reverence our leaders and pray for them. Let us remember that this is not heaven. This is earth. We are at war. We are called upon to sacrifice that others may someday have governments that govern in wisdom and mercy and are there for the people and by the people.

"Christ in us" is a christian teaching. Unity teachings say that every man is God, and God dwells in EVERY man. Reserved said, "Christ that is in each CHRISTIAN". Anyone who is christian should have Christ in their hearts. I dont think she meant anything else by that. I didn't get that from her post.

Anyway, I agree with Reserved that it is not God's will that any man should perish, AND we should not kill. That is one of God's 10 commandments. There is nothing in this world that will excuse that. Unless God HIMSELF has given a direct order to kill and sacrifice.

MY baby brother is in the military, and I support him 100%. BUT I would rather he be back at home, safe and sound. I dont want him to kill people or get killed. I respect him for being willing to sacrifice his life, but that does not make it right.

The 10 commandments may be the "old law" and some people say we dont have to live by them. Well here is something to think about. Jesus DID! Jesus never killed anyone.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and FOREVER! Jesus is the WORD. And the WORD says "Thou shall not kill". If the Word said it in the Old Testament, and Jesus lived it in the New Testament, there is NO reason that we can not live it today and FOREVER! Because Jesus is constant...never changing. WE are the only ones that change. All the wars that took place that the Bible spoke of, were commissioned by GOD. If Bush had stood up and said "God wants us to take vengence on terrorists OURSELVES, and God gave me that word." Then I would not hesitate to support him. Dont get me wrong I love Bush! I respect him, and think that he is a great man, and a man of integrity. All I am saying is that He needs to allow God to be MORE involved in running this country. And I pray for him everyday that He will allow God to make the decisions for him. If any president was ever able to do that, Bush is the man. I pray God give him boldness, WISDOM, and courage.

Dear Talena: I pray for your brother's safe return as I do for all our miliatry men. I am a mom of a 25 year old, so I can identify with our loved ones being sent to war. My heart breaks when I hear of a casualty. My heart breaks when I hear of children being killed in war torn countries.

I too pray that our president makes choices in wisdom. I pray that there is a revival in this country because I think it is only the true Christians - those Christians who are willing to be washed in the Word of God and accept Jesus and follow Jesus -- we are the only ones who can spread the Word of the Prince of Peace and make way for God's kingdom here on earth.

God's word is truth and He did say,

"It is not the Father's will that anyone perish".
