my daughter is and has been estranged from me , and also her family for 10 months. she is 19 years old. this estrangement was perpetrated by the church that we were attending(we do not attend there any more). she has been told that every thing about me is desceit by a man who says he has the "gift of disernment". the pastors have taken her into their home to live. she never even came home to get her things. that was last november. i got kicked off the art team for giving her a new winter coat for her birthday. my husband and i got kicked out of the church for trying to give her a pair of shoes last spring. they won't let us contact her. she refuses all contact. the husband part of the pastorship, (the wife is the teaching pastor), told my husband that "if he ever wants to have a relationship with his (our) daughter, he'll have to leave his wife" !! we pray every morning for her. i pray all day long. we miss her so much. i'm so tired of crying. please, pray that my daughter hears the truth from someone. and has the courage to act on it. she probably feels caught in a tangled web of lies. i don't know what else i can do. the church started out biblical. but now it has become a legalistic, cultic, pharasitical, mess. we just want our family back together again. the local church should never destroy a family.
they never even attempted reconcilliation. thankyou for your prayers,

Most gracious and heavenly Father Lord, I lift A.J. to you right now this minute. Speak to her heart Lord and remind her that we are to Honor our Father and Mother Lord. That even though our children that you gave to us do leave the nest Lord it should be to find their own path not to divide a household. Lord, you know the deception here. Whatever is going on I stand in the gap and give Praise and Glory to you Father that it's on the mend. Father open A.J.'s eyes to see the truth. Help her to seek you Lord and by seeking you she will find you and her way home. Satan I bind you from your hold on this family, your ways are not the ways of Our Living God and we won't accept them any longer. I release and call for a healing in this family Lord. Only you can repair the damage that has been created here. We await your Miracle to unfold. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen!
