I am new to the group

Good morning!

I am new to the group and really already appreciate the hope, compassion, humor and love that is being shared on these boards. I was a lost soul out there in this world thinking I was in charge and it took a hit from the world to knock me back to my senses! I ususally have to come close to losing everything dear to me to wake up. My husband and I our now praying (REGULARLY, NOT FOX HOLE PRAYERS) and seeking God's help in our lives. I would appreciate prayers for a financial break through, and prayers for guidance in all areas of our lives. We are not with out work, just need to be molded and guided by God's loving hand in straightening out our lives for our future. I am married (2nd for both) to my best friend and we have 8 children from previous marriages. We are going back to church. I really want to stay in contact with believing people who walk in the Lord. This world out here is a freaky place and it's so good to come home and speaking to folks who are seeking the Kingdom of Heaven and who are trying each day to do God's work.

Praying for you now that God will be in every aspect of your life and that his guidance and presence will be seen in every aspect of your life.

This verse comes to my mind for you as I am typing this prayer

'Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you as well'

Dear heavenly father I lift Roseg and her family up to you right now. Bless them in all aspects of their lives. I know how it is to fall away from you and how evil this world can be. I also know what it is like to come back into your loving arms and I praise you that you are so merciful and forgive us for every bad thing we do. I pray that Roseg keeps her faith and walk with you strong. I pray this in your name. Amen

Thank you so much! My husband and I went to our home church today and felt so at peace. I am in agreement with you that we must seek God's will, and all else will be taken care of. Since my post God has given me such a feeling of overwhelming peace as though His loving arms are around me at all times. I am able to look outside myself and to others with true belief that all is right as it should be in God's world, which I am a part of.
