I want to know if God is trying to tell me to move on and give up on my marriage. My husband has been living with another woman for the past seven months. He says he is in love with her. He says he loves me too. I have prayed constantly for him to return home to me and our family. He comes back and forth. He leaves her and stay with us for a couple of days and then he goes right back to her and neglect his family in every way. He did this a few days ago, now he won;t even call to talk to our 10 year old daughter who loves him and has asked him to come home. He don;t even call me anymore after he went back to her a few days ago. Is this God's way of saying it is not his will for my husband and I to be together? This pain is unbearable. I love my husband and my daughter loves him so much. What can we do to get him home to stay if it is God's will? WHat is God telling me to do? How can I hear God's words to me? I talk to God all the time. Am I praying the right way? Tell me what to do. Help me.

Joann,
Hello! I am sorry to hear about the circumstance you are dealing with right now.

It is always the LORD's will to heal a marriage. So He is not telling you to outright seperate. Although, that is your spiritually legal right - in the eyes of God.

I would not presume to give you advise about this situation, but I will tell you what I would do - if I were in the same situation.

I would give my spouse a choice - the other person, or me! Not both!!! This would be absolute, without compromise! He is deceived into believing he has the best of both worlds. Now, you cannot control the other woman, but you can make a stand for your household!

I would also require some kind of counseling, and healing for the relationship. I would also require another exchange of our wedding vowels!

If this has been going on for seven months, why have you allowed this for such a long time?

Obviously, you are hurting sooo very much from this situation your husband has placed your family in!

Be in peace, and sometimes the right choice is the hardest to walk-out.

Semper Fi!

Father God, thank You for this precious woman! Bless her, and her family. Convict the heart of her husband, and lead him back into righteousness! Strengthen this woman to do what is needed in this tragic circumstance. Bring restoration to this relationship, and family, by restoring what the enemy has stolen from them - in Jesus name - Amen!

Don't look at this sin and even equate
that God is giving you a message through it
Nothing thats happening is of God
.

Your husbands choice to ignore God is not with hidden meaning!!!

I agree with Bill & Alexis.
He has his cake and eat it too.
You have let things go on too long.
Get the book "Love must be Tough" By James Dobson
Put things to practice
it sounds like you are afraid to rock the boat
Well your going to have to rock hard to get the other woman out.
Please see my other response to your other post.
Bless You

Hi joanne,I'm sorry to hear about your sitaution with your husband..My heart goes out to you,as i was in a similar sitaution myself..I don't believe any of this is gods will.
Your husband it seems is being pulled in two directions....
I believe by giving him the best of both worlds,he will never come to the reality of the situation...He dosen't have to chose while he has the both of you!
My advice to you in this situation,is to let go totally..Let him know that
you will not accept this kind of disrespect anymore, and as hard as it is
try to move on with your life...Continue to pray for him and let him go...God is more powerful than the circumstances you find yourself in..BUT PLEASE LET GO....DONT LET HIM HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS,OR THE SITUATION WONT HEAL...
MAY GOD BLESS AND HEAL YOUR MARRIAGE....AMEN
