Ready to Give up

2 Years ago we started a Christian based daycare center. We were strapped from the beginning and daycare is not a huge money maker to begin with. We have prayed about whether to continue or not. We keep sinking deeper into financial debt-a problem we never had before. The business has sucked our personal money dry and our credit is now in the basement. Everytime we feel like giving up a parent expresses how much of a blessing we are-so I have a hard time believing it was a mistake to start this project. We are now listing our house to try and relieve ourselves from some of the credit problems we have. I would just pray that the house sells quickly and we can find a smaller, cheaper house to buy-and also that the bank would loan us money for a new house to spite our current credit issues. Unfortunately this ordeal is taking a tole on our marriage as well. I am tired-so tired of the disappointement we deal with daily. I am angry with God-I feel he has forsaken me! I don't know where to turn or what to do next!

Blessings!!! God loves people more than anything!!! Your marriage is the top priority in His eyes. It comes after putting Him first.
Father God,
Thank You for this couple, I ask that You bless this marriage and help their love for one another stay strong. Help them have Order in their finances. You created the world and set everything in order, You can do the same in this couples' life. I ask that You open the doors you want open and close the doors you what closed. Give them clarity to know they are doing exactly what you desire of them by faith. God, If Your desire is to continue this community service;I ask that you give her wisdom to know if she is needing to charge more and how to balance her expenses. Strengthen and refresh her. I agree with my sister as she seach you for resolving pass debt. Please make every provision for their needs. Thank You again for her desire to please You. In Jesus name, Amen
P.s. As for the anger toward God. Seek Him and you will find Him. Your emotions are being misdirected. Out of God's love He gives us a freewill. If we make poor chooses like overeating/or overspending, we do not have God to blame for the consequences. With LOVE!!! Grace

This possibly may help you. I read of someone(dunno where) whose business was faltering. He heard from the Lord to go early to his business( a christian bookstore) And praise and worship and pray everymorning early. It filled with the presence of God and people were drawn there.
Get the mind of God on the matter so you can stand even in the day of trouble. It is hard to keep on keeping on without knowing if you should be doing this. Being good with children is a gift not many have. A good safe christian daycare is even harder to find. Today so many kids are harmed where their parents put them.
Lord let Your will be known in this matter. Speak in the morning and in the evening. When she sits down and stands up. Send people to encourage and lift her up. Relieve her finances. Lord reveal Your ways to prosper to her. Lord let this business glorify Your name. I rebuke the enemy on her behalf to take his hands off their prosperity. They will not be in debt. They are children of the Most High God. Send Pleace Lord and I place a hedge of angels round about them in Jesus name amen.

My daughter attended a Christian-based daycare when I attended college. I don't know the books of this daycare, but I do know a little bit about how things ran. First, all the people who worked there were from the same church. They were all equal investors and partners. The women worked the daycare, their husbands had other employment. The business that they had bought needed a LOT of work and the members of their church did a lot of the work for them for the cost of the materials. This was not a church daycare, they were all sisters in Christ who went into business together. They relied heavily on word-of-mouth and they were always full to capacity. They asked for donations, just like public schools do- hand soap, snacks, juice, paper, crayons, things to be used for crafts. I was not involved in church at the time, but I gave what I could- anything to help people who were trying to provide a much-needed service.
Can you advertise at church? Perhaps you can advertise through Social Services. Maybe you can put up a flyer at the local community college or university. Do you offer drop-in services? Sometimes people need a break for a few hours and it can help fill the rolls and keep you in the black.

Thank You for ontheedge72. Thank You for the opportunity to pray for her. Please grant her peace as her business goes through a tough time. Please help her and her co-workers to focus on You. Please lead those who desire a faith-based curriculum for their children to be led to her child care. Please grant them patience and strength to endure this financial drought.
