Please pray urgently - Reconciliation

Please pray for us... My (former?) fiance is coming to work in a country next to me and I have a chance to go there to work also, same company - different department. She has asked to travel with me to visit my family and wants to spend more and more time together, even wants me to come there to work - but still says we are not (yet?) a "couple". I'm trying to follow the Lord's lead and be patient, understanding and compasionate through it all. (It is easier than I thought actually but I would love to see the fruit of it more quickly.) We are talking every day, sometimes three or four times a day; laughing and sharing virtually everything again - except each other as a couple. (I don't mean that in a physically way of course).

Please pray that the Lord would be merciful and gracious by permitting us to work and be near each other again. That He would make the way - and that regardless of what He chooses to do with me that He would permit her to work in the other country, as it is much safer there than here in Iraq. I love her so very much but please understand, I still love Him more.

Also please pray that He would touch our hearts and our relationship to bring about the reconciliation, renewal and miracles between us and for us that He has promised. I'm holding onto His promises every day.

Thank you all for your prayers and please pray as the Lord leads for us also. Thanks again

PS: As a praise report. I was talking with her on the phone yesterday when I looked to my left and a bullet had landed in the sand less than four feet from me. I didn't even flinch but simply dug it out and put it in my pocket as a gift and reminder of His love and protection. (Then I walked behind cover.) It is something to me that He kept me relaxed and I was so calm that I didn't even stop talking with her when it happened or tell her about it until later last night, but I did prais His name over and over as I listened. He is truly wondrous, gracious and loving!

Lord, You know the plans you have for this young man and they are for good and not for evil. I ask that You give this young man a heart for You and the covering of the blood of Christ upon him and his units, all units in Iraq. Lord, I praise You that hear are prayers and I ask for YOU to whisper in this man's heart that You are in charge, You are trustworthy and that the more he turns his life, desires, hopes, plans, dreams over to You, that he will walk in obediance and blessings. Lord, I ask that the HOly Spirit speak to this young man and instruct his heart and mind and move him to ask You for the mate You want for him and to ready and prepare his heart for her and her for him. LOrd, help us to tell you our dreams and desires and to then move deeper in ourselves to desire Your Will above anything else. Release us Lord from all false desires and dreams that are not of You and fill us with Your dreams and desires for us. ANd, please Lord Jesus, equip us and teach us to fulfill Your Will for us. I thank You Jesus that the plans You have for us are for good and not for evil. I bless You Lord Jesus and I thank You Jesus.

Lord Jesus
Move in this relationship
bless them with a holy respect and love
Keep them safe and tear down walls of fear and distrust
Bless them to grow in faith and love
and become lights unto the world
and fishers of men
Amen

Lord thank You for the blessing You are giving "InBaghdad." Thank You for the physical movement You are making between this couple. Bring them to reconciliation, completely, to Your glory. In Jesus Name. Amen

Father God,
Thank You for protecting our brother Ken. Thank You for giving his fiancee the opportunity to work in a less dangerous environment. Thank You for the progress they have made in reconciliation. Please help them continue to focus on You in their lives. Thank You, Lord.
Amen.

We continue to stand in agreement with you regarding your relationship with this woman. Praise God for protecting you in a way that is a glorious testimony to His goodness. Father, we ask that You continue to work in this couple's lives. That You will continue to move on their hearts, minds, souls and spirits to do Your will in all things. Your will be done in Jesus' Name, amen.
