desperately seeking God's healing for my dad!

Thank you all! You do not know what it meant to me just now to log in and see that some of you are still praying. Last night I stayed up until 4 a.m. (Friday is my day off) watching T.D.Jakes. He spoke of "turn-arounds" and how God can use something that was meant for evil and use it for good. I just spoke with my mom a few minutes ago. She never misses work and she was home, she cried and it broke my heart. I know that many people are afflicted daily with illnesses and that sometimes horrible things happen that we do not understand. However, I do not understand how so many of us can stand on our faith for healing and our prayers have gone unanswered. This morning my dad went to the urologist, they found his prostate to be a little swollen. Not necessarily a sign of the worst, but he has to take some medication. They feel it may be a side effect of the medications he is taking for the HEP C. He went to work and then at 4 p.m he has another appointment for a cat-scan for his lungs. Lord, please heal him. I beg of you! My dad has had such a difficult life (became an orphan of mother and father at very young age, took care of his siblings so they would not be separated, married my mom, had me, obtained a masters degree, became involved in the church and to this day volunteers at men retreats to bring men (old and young) to the Lord. He is a hero, he is my hero! He eagerly waits for day when my husband and I will be able to adopt (God willing sometime next year. We were unable to get pregnant) to be a grandpa. I know prayer works; I know we cannot give up now. But, even the doctor does not know if he should continue with the treatment. My mom and dad are confused as to what route to take. Life and God have to give back to my dad for all he gives others. I will not let the devil lease pray health and joy for my parents. Thank you and God bless you!

Father I stand in the gap for this Family's healing! Jesus touch this father and erase the illness that is hurting him body and spirit. Wash him clean in the Blood of the Lamb and remove the stains of sin and illness from him. Thank You Jesus! AMEN!
