A writer seeks prayer.

I am a new user, and would like to ask prayer for myself in terms of direction for my writing. I am a poet, quite new to publishing, and I would like to seek God's will in how I might use my writing to please Him. I even have a title (given me by Him?) for a small book, "Grace Notes," and I desire to fill its pages with poetry glorifying God. When I sit down to write, I try always to remember to thank God first for giving me my mind and heart, and to ask Him to direct me, to give me His words to write. My heart's desire is to show others how I witness for Him through my writing. If anyone picks up on this, I would be willing to email you. My yearning is strong, and although I write of other topics, I really want to develop the abilities He has given me so that I may place my words before Him as gift.

That is awsome that you write. I have writen quite a few poems myself but have never really done anything with them.
I will keep you in my prayers. I believe that when you seek God's will when doing whatever that he will bless it.
