Praise the Lord, ALL the Glory and honor goes to our Lord, God and Savior for the miraculous weekend my children and I had! Thank you all for your continued prayers! Ruth you have SO been a blessing to me, and I just wanted to let you know that I love ya and So appreciate the Dents in the doors for us! Hope you’re sitting down! J
Well my camping weekend started out just like all the others, Mom alone with 2 kids trying to stay strong and not break down in tears. We left Saturday morning while Raymond was out, he knew where we were going, I left him a note that said: “We Love you, Charge Pond F-2. Hope to see you there” Saturday came and went without a call from him, not a peep. Sunday, my birthday, was like any other day, I prayed and prayed and really was a thorn in Jesus’ side. We went swimming, ate dinner, and Nicole and I went to take showers, and I’m in the stall thinking “My day is almost over and he forgot its my birthday…” Well when I get back to the site, my son, Ray Jr. is on my cell phone, My husband had called to see how we were, and to “Make sure we got there safely” My son said “Dad, do you know what today is?” He said “Yes, its your mother’s birthday” I could not speak a word, he went on to say “tell her I called and said Happy birthday!” As the tears rolled down my face I thanked my Father for hearing the “Whispers of my heart” (BEAUTIFUL ANDI!!!)
I sat down and tried to pull it together before I became a blubbering basket case in front of my children. We played cards, dominos, boggle… goofed around with one another and then about an hour later my cell phone rings again, it was Ray!!! He said “Hi, what are you doing? I said playing games with the kids; I said what are you doing? He said watching a movie, what do I usually watch when I’m alone? I jokingly whispered into the phone, porn… he laughed and said NO… I said oh the other one the “God Father” he said yup, watching my movie. So I said why don’t you come down, he said nope, had 3 beers not driving tonight. I said ok, how about tomorrow? He said well I have this and that to do… (BLAH BLAH) Got to finish fixing this car, it will take me all day, but we’ll see. He said when are you coming home? I said well I do have the site until Tuesday AM. He said oh, I see… I said well your welcome here tomorrow and he said ok, well I got to go he said. I said ok and then 10 seconds later he called again and said ok I’ll be there tomorrow between 12:30 and 1:30, where are the kids? I said right here he said oh I wanted to surprise them! Well warriors by then my kids were jumping around like nuts, dad is coming yeah!!! Then I called Ruth, and made her cry (I’m sorry Ruth) after my call with Ruth, I went into the tent with my bible and read and cried and Thanked our Father for this turn around and the very fact that he didn’t forget my b-day!
Well Monday came and I began my usual start the grill get breakfast going get the children functioning… then at 8:35AM he called me, “I got the car all done, just getting it buttoned up, I got up early to get it finished!” I should be there in a little while I have to get a hold of Steve, The owner of the caddy, and do this and that” I said ok we’ll be waiting. We did the Daddy’s coming dance and went to the pond. All day I prayed and prayed, Father please bring him soon! Well the day progressed and the kids kept coming up and saying has he called yet? And I’d say nope not yet and they’d go back into the water and yell come on Ma come in we promise we wont drown you… lol so I did. At 1:30 he called and asked for “Refresher directions”, then at 2:00 I heard a motorcycle and I said to Nicole, Your Daddy is here, she said how do you know, did he call? I said Nope not yet, within seconds my cell rang and he was here! PTL!!!
After sitting on the hot beach fully dressed for a while watching me & the kids play in the water, the kids decided they were hungry and we went up for lunch. We ate, he changed into his swim suit and we went back to the pond where we PLAYED like a family. He was stalking me in the water and kept pulling me under; I tackled him and due to the tanning lotion slipped right over his back and plopped into the water. He stood there laughing so hard it was great. We (the 4 of us) played for almost 4 hours! Then we went up to the site, I started the grill and we had dinner AT THE SAME TABLE, AT THE SAME TIME!!! He even stayed and helped us take down the tent and pack the car!!! Just as we were getting ready to leave, he stopped and posed for a 2005 family camping photo!!! On the way home he stayed right in front of us, on his motorcycle, the whole way! Then he gunned it hitting 130 MPH and I freaked, Cried out to God Please don’t let him drive faster than his angels can fly!!! Eventually I could see him again and when we pulled off the highway he was in view. Well in our own neighborhood I stopped to get cigarettes at the local gas station, but was still only seconds behind him. He pulled into our driveway and took off his helmet and 2-wayed me as I was coming down our street… (we used to race home, to see who could get there faster) well… here comes the SIT DOWN RUTH part of my story… I got out of the car and went in the house, did a few things and came back out, Like 5 minutes later and he said “go get changed, put on your jeans and boots and get your helmet, we are going for a ride!!! My heart almost dropped! So I ran before he changed his mind. He said to me “Don’t be hugging up against me I installed the grab bar so use it” So I nodded and said yup, climbed on the back of the bike and slipped my fingers through his belt loop as I always did and off we went. He kept tweaking the throttle so I would slide down and I would move back and he’d do it again… I just figured he wanted me there so I stopped moving! He took me to his new job to get his check, and out for a belated birthday Ice Cream!!! Woohoo… All the while I was on this bike I prayed and talked to God… Father Your word tells me I can lay hands on him and cast out the demons!! So I did, I prayed and prayed and even shed a few tears! God is so good and the best part is that we talked when we got ice cream! Thank you all for praying for us, we are FAR from restored but well on our way! Also he texted me this am WOOHOO!!! So glad that I had something GREAT to Share with you! OUR Father is a mighty awesome man!!! Thank you Father, thank you friends, Keep praying for us…

I just want to thank You for what you are doing in this marriage. Thank you for touching this husband. God, keep working on him. I agree with Genna in prayer, and I lift her up to You. God, we know that You have perfect timing for everything. Thank You for that also. God, I ask that You bless this marriage and hold this family tight in Your mighty arms.
