Update on Hurricane Katrina

I know this is streching the rule but I cannot post big articles like Shawn & JG.

I did not even know about the hurricane until this evening, I haven't watched the news for a couple weeks

Be sure to read the BLOG page because it has updates and conditions of the area and people... a great opportunity to pray for people we don't know, especially for those who have lost touch with their family & friends who live in the flood areas.

Lord, stop the winds and rain of Hurricane Katrina! I really, really, really pray that there is no more damage to Missippi or any other area that this storm is supposed to hit. Father, take the WIND out of the hurricane, and let the rain fall STOP. Lord, You can do this with a simple, "Peace be still!" I pray no more people die. Keep all people safe. Send angels to protect people, Lord. Let the flooding stop. Quickly, let the flood waters ebb away. I pray that miracles happen, and that people KNOW that God stepped in and did this. Lord, let Your purpose be established in the earth through this. Use this sitatution to turn people to You in their time of need. As they hear of miraculous protection and see it in their own situations, let them turn to the God Who performed this. This we pray and ask, in Jesus Name, so be it, AMEN!!!
